There is a new feature in Aimoo.com that allows users to delete their accounts.
At the same time they are given the choice of deleting all their messages too.

When someone deletes their account and all the messages too it sets the user name on the message to Guest and sets the text to This message has been deleted due to Termination of Account.

When you see this it is not because I deleted the users account, It is becuase the user themselves decided to delete their profile and their past messages.

If you do delete your profile please DO NOT delete your past messages.  It often makes the threads nonsensical because people have replied to your comments and then your comment is gone, living the replies hanging in the breeze talking to themselves.

If you come across postings buy the ubiquitous 'Guest' with text to the effect of. This message has been deleted due to Termination of Account it was not me but the user them selves who deleted the account.

Notes:
1)    As the administrator of this message board I don't have that power to delete users Aimoo accounts:  I can only ban them from this message board, which I don't do very often.  I cannot delete accounts, only Aimoo or the user them selves can do that.

2)    I don't know what happens if Aimoo deletes a user account due to violations of terms of service, I have never heard of this happening to any of our regular users but it could if they post profane or obscene messages, so do try to keep postings more or less PG, Thanks.

Please cutback on starting new threads and try to post messages as a reply to existing threads.
If you want to cut and paste from your word processor do not do it directly.
First paste it into notepad or other basic ascii editor so that the formatting codes are removed, then cut again. This will give you clean posts.
