I often get little messages from the Aimoo automated admin system saying that this is that user would like to be promoted to an Advanced member. 

Apparently there is a button that allows regular users to apply to become Advanced users.  At this time, on this board, the Thong board, there is no difference in the rights of regular users and advanced users.  The permissions are all set the same. 

Unfortunately I cannot just send a message back to the user when I get a request becuase the return address is the aimoo automated system and not the end  user.   Therefore I am posting here to let you all know, there should be absolutely no diffrence in access and posting rights between regular members and advanced members.

That some are currently regular members and some are advanced is just a legicy of the transition from the old board software to the new, that happned back in 2007 and 2008.
