I guess a thread in the contacts section would be approprate. 

I am not sure why we get lots of new members at the start of the summer in the northen hemesphere, but it does seem to work out that way.  Possibly temprature related.

We also seem to be getting a high number of new members who's first post is inaproprate stuff, or in the wrong place, or most commonly a direct repeat of an existing thread. 

You should be able to select not to see the popup again, and it will expire automaticly after seven days, which is in a day or two.

Ha ha, well i'm not complaining about the pop up window... I was just curious as to how many members were joining. It sounded like this was a first rather then something that happens every year ;)
