Interesting that with the internet still a large number of members are from the USA or English speaking countries. I think that a sub section should be made where the posting can be written in something other than English as I have met some individuals while traveling that might want to contribute something to this board but rather use their native language rather than broken English. Think about it: French contributors, Brazilian, Panamanian, Italian, Greek, German, Latino.... with the availability of on line translators the text can be translated back to English so we can follow the discussion.
Just a thought. I'm fluent in Spanish and French, and a little English ;)
I live in So Cal but I'm originally from the Caribbean, Cruz Bay, St. John, USVI.

If you spoke several other languages you might be aware that there are thong message boards in other languages. Some are independent messages boards that just deal with thongs, while others are more general,. covering underware and swimwear too. I know that some languages like German are well served by multiple message boards, but I suspect less popular languages are less well served, if at all.

The problem for any message board is creating a community of common intrest. You need enough people who speak that language and that are interested enough in the subject.  Enough people to create, maintain and contribute to a message board. Because of the number of people in the world who both speak English and who wear thongs to the beach this English speaking board has that critical mass.

Past message boards, thong boards that existed before this one, showed why we have a need for regular moderation.  To moderate a board the moderator must speak the language.

For the board to be useful to the participants the members must understand the language used.  This is why most message boards exist in a single language. This one happens to use English. This dos not preclude you, or anyone else, from setting up a similar message board in a parallel language universe.  A bit like the dark matter in the universe, the existence of parallel threads in a diffrent language plane will only be of tangential intrest to the English speakers.

So go ahead, if you want to create a message board for people who are Koren thong wearers, feel free. You may have to compete with existing Koren thong wearing groups but this is the challenge of competing in a foreign language.

Until such time as a reliable babelfish is built into your web browser I suspect each language group will tend to talk amongst them selves.

Please cutback on starting new threads and try to post messages as a reply to existing threads.
If you want to cut and paste from your word processor do not do it directly.
First paste it into notepad or other basic ascii editor so that the formatting codes are removed, then cut again. This will give you clean posts.
