Hello,
does anyone have Daniel Alexander G-string DA807 style? How stretchy they are?
I'm just looking for something like N2N BT G-string style swimwear.

I recently bought a couple DA800 which look very similar to the DA807.  The string is stretchy enough but I would not order a smaller size because the string is small and if you use up all the stretch it will leave indentations in your skin.  My DA800 does not do this but it has happened on other skimpy bikinis I have.  I have a 32" waist and bought the medium.  I love them.  They are low rise so you will need to shave it all off :-)

Thanks for info. What about pouch? Could you measure pouch and string size please?
My waist is 74cm and I wear small size underwear. They sizes are S (68 - 73) and M (75-80). No size for 74cm :DBut you say that string could leave indentations on skin if buy smaller size.

Not sure how to measure a pouch.  Medium should be fine for you.  It won't be too big.

Just got my first DA g-string and Freedom Thongs today.Definitely need a size M for the g-string, but I went with size small for thong and it was the right choice. Great fit!

Got DA807 M size. G-string is good quality but one thing I don't like that when you put your package in pouch not everything gets covered and it is possible to see from side some part of your package. Pouch could be more stretchy. And there is label "DA" on pouch which I don't like. You will not find this label on product page description and photos in any online shop for solid colors.
I like N2N G-String pouch stretch but for me they looks more like thongs. Too wide.

Are there any differences between Daniel Alexander DA807 and Cover Male CM102? More I look on these two models, then less I see differences...

I bought some Cover Male and Daniel Alexander styles recently.  It looks like this year they changed the way the "tag" them. Now the tag information is silkscreened onto the inside of the garment.  When you buy underwear/ swimwear like this you want it to feel and look good.  This silkscreened tag on the pouch or rear panel really detracts from both.  While they fit well, I'm not going to order more until they change back to a tag that I can cut off and be done with it.  I would suggest others try Good Devil or Joe Snyder.

Has anyone tried the Daniel Alexander protrude pouch bikini? This is the one I'm thinking of picking up.

Or what about the protrude pouch thong? I like the mesh look - don't have any of those. But I'm not sure if the protrude would be comfy? Anyone try these?

I have a Protrude, love it, except mine has a HUGE D/A logo on it.  I hate branding and logos.  I like everything I wear to be unmarked. I don't advertise for anyone without being paid for it.

Otherwise, it's one of my favorite suits of all time.

Re:Daniel Alexander

The Protrude pouch thong is very similar to Joe Snyder's Buldge thong to me, so much that I actually prefer DA just because it is cheaper and made in Colombia (Colombia is very well know for high quality underwear items). The fit is practically the same and the fabric stitching is also very comfy, so you won't be "feeling it" throughout the day. I got them from Mensuas in almost every color after ordering a first one just to try. Oh! They also wash great and do not lose their shape/color. Let them air-dry flat after washing as usual.
Whenever in doubt, buy just one item, see how it fits for you and then decide if you like it or not. That's what I do.

Between DA and Joe Snyder.    I think the pouch on the JS is a lot more snug fitting and is lower cut in front. For me it has my package curving downward whereas the DA support is looser fit and my curve is upward.  The DA provides great support and since it is looser it really protrudes a lot more for me.      I do like the JS fabric better as it is a bit richer feel.   Cost of JS is pushing me away from them though.
See my post on the logo - tag - label above.   Don't get DA if they haven't eliminated the silkscreened label.  I think the Good Devil is almost identical to DA without the silkscreened label.

I haven't tried the string, but the standard thong seems good so far - only been wearing it a day. The front and sides fits a lot like a Hom Fredy two sizes up (ie not deathly snug). The back is about .75" wide, soft, and really comfortable thus far.

As some mentioned, the care instructions are printed on the inside of the pouch. It's weird, but not a deal breaker so long as it doesn't start flaking - which it might, as it seem to be a plasticky film (iron-on)? What's really unfortunate, and isn't pictured anywhere, is the rather prominent "DA" in sparkly silver printed on the outside of the pouch. So, yeah, I guess I own glittery underwear now...

I'm wearing the protrude pouch bikini for the first time. It's great, very comfortable but that pouch in front creates a very obvious bulge! I ordered the smaller size because I like the snug fit vs. that baggy feel so the back is basically creeping up like a thong but the front....man, check out the unit on that guy!!

Thongzo i relate to your experience of bikinis that have skimpy backs not staying in place and becoming actually a thong....tried it many times with no success.  A real pity that perhaps due to laws of anatomy it is impossible to keep the shape at the back;   the looks that we see on the catalogues of no thong skimpy backs are utopian IMHO

On July 30 I posted that both Daniel Alexander and Cover Male have screen printed tags on the inside of their thongs and other styles.  Trust me you don't want to buy these if you want a clean smooth feel on your thongs. I just confirmed that Mensuas stock still has these.  So I would suggest you try something else until they discontinue those.  It must have been someone's terrible idea.

I just picked up a pair of booty shorts from Daniel Alexandar (since it's getting cold here, I need another payer to cover the buns!) and they are sooooo comfortable. Pretty much don't notice that they're even on. I'll certainly be picking up some more of these. I've become a huge fan of the DA line lately. Much more comfortable and they have a great selection of thongs, string bikinis and full back undies. The skimpy thong is perfect for tanning. Minimal coverage and it leaves a great tan line. But since it's winter, I'm fake baking the full body tan, so no lines for me until summer!

I too have ordered things from Daniel Alexander, which is distributed by Mensuas.com    I have been very impressed with everything I have ordered.   I had the opportunity to meet the owner of Mensuas this past Summer.  Such a nice guy!   He sponsored the SunSplash Thongers Weekend in Fort Lauderdale, and gave me lots of underwear and swimwear to give away to those attending. If you haven't ordered anything from Mensuas, which distributes the Daniel Alexander and CoverMale lines, as well as other brands, you will not be disappointed.   They are mostly made in South America. The quality and workmanship is very good!!!

I recently ordered a Daniel Alexander "Freedom" thong, DA774, and found it to be essentially unusable. The pouch seems to be extremely narrow and shallow with little or no stretch, and my very average-size equipment spilled out from both sides. The thong ultimately ended up in the trash.

I would be interested to know if anyone else has tried this thong and, if so, what is your opinion of it?

I have several Daniel Alexander bikinis and thongs. They are very similar to Joe Snyder and the Cover Male line. The one thing that I thought I would like about Daniel Alexander is the lack of tags in them BUT after a couple washes the way their screen printed labels on the back of bikinis they are visible from the other side and don't look good. Their DA logo on the front also begins to come off after a few washings. With that said, I would prefer them using regular size tags on the inside so I can cut them out as I do on all my thongs and bikinis. I do however LOVE the cut of their Brazilianbikinis. They seem to be cut a bit smaller than the Joe Snyder and Cover Male ones that are similar.

I agree with both T_for_2 and Greek10, I also bought the Freedom thong and I was very disappointed;  more than half the equipment was out!    I made it worse because I bought 4,  the image in Mensuas website looked perfectly to me, I prefer the pouch long so I can keep my tool in a comfy 6 o'clock position enjoying his length, not squashed.    When I tried the first one I got so unimpressed.   I kept the other 3 in their plastic bags and returned them to Mensuas and got a credit.    I haven't thrown away my Freedom thong, it would be good for pranks and showing around how bad some jocks can be designed, lol,,,, my wife couldn't stop laughing at my balls coming out of the fabric.

I'm with you NCThonger, I have lately discovered the taste for the Brazilian bikinis,  I own so many thongs as underwear and swimwear, that the image of a Brazilian really looks so cool.
(the same is happening to me with speedos,  I am becoming a fan of Budgy Smugglers as cover ups and walking around everywhere I can,  yes, a relative conservative speedos made in OZ, but I reckon they look soooo cool, but that's another story)
The issue with the Brazilians of coming in and becoming a thong is expected, but it becomes like a cheeky thong and still looks cool.I tried lately the Daniel Alexander DA607 and the Cover Male CM201.    I wore the CMs first, they looked good, comfy.   But man, when I put on the DA607, it was so stretchy and the back was really cheeky,,, i love it.
My question is, I can't see what is the real difference between 3 Daniel Alexander's styles, DA607, DA610 and DA618,  they all look exactly the same from behind, I know the DA610 is protrude from the front though.
Regarding the tags, I like the imprinted ones on the outside, it makes the underwear look cool like swimwear, I believe you can easily get away wearing one of these on the beach or the pool, no one would guess they are not swimwear.

Re:Daniel Alexander

I got the string & thong I ordered. The thong isn't exactly wide but it will hold the goodies with just a little to spare. The string is a bit narrower and will have the eggs somewhat peeking out. I solved this by shortening the string that runs between the cheeks by over 3". This pulls the triangle down so that there is more width available to hold the eggs as well as there being more tension to keep the assets covered. The price to be paid, however, is more than a suspicion of the base of my dick gets visible. I wouldn't wear this suit the way it is prepared now in a public swimming pool but wearing it on the beach is fine with me. Although the weather is extraordinarily fine here now for the time of the year I haven't got the opportunity yet to lay out in a string.

Yeah, the g-strings are fine for wearing under your clothes to work but the thongs are a bit narrow in front. They are great tanning thongs because you get a tiny little tan line. I love their string bikinis - very comfy - and their booty shorts. A great line overall!

Bought couple of pairs of DA from Mensuas:One was DA608 Brazilian Back String - it just didn't fit well at all, droopy and everything was just spilling out. I love the look of brazillian backs. But just couldnt wear it. And I am an Asian with an average package. The string at the waist was just too loose. Ended up in the trash. The other was DA510 Risky Boxer, this pair managed to fit a little better. I was between S and M size, ordered M, some loose gaps, but still ok. I recently wore it when I was in Bali with my wife at the pool. I just don't think the material is very suitable for swimming, it gets clingy and roughed up when it comes in contact with water. The printed logo is also fadding off. And at the back, it can irriate a bit. Bearable. But not ideal. I like the look of the risky boxer, sometimes just prefer the feeling of wearing a "thong" but a more conservative front.
Anybody got other suggestions? is JS any better?

I also bought a Brazilian back suit from D/A. The back is way to big and bags. The pouch and side straps are fine. Never wore it to lake. would be too embarrassed  because the way it fits. I know I have a small ass, but this back is made for huge ass guys. But don't get me going on the inside label printing that puckers and looks terrible.  Won't buy another D/A suit of any kind until they stop this practice. My go to suit now is a stuffit g-string or low cut stuffit thong both by Skinzwear.

For those that have purchased D/A products recently, what is your opinion of how they imprint the required garment tag on the actual garment inside instead of on a tag that can easily be cut off?
I bought some thong and other styles last year.  I love the garment but the screenprinted "tag" is HIDEOUS and ruins the look and feel of a nice garment. I tried to get feedback to the company as well as Cover Male several times but I don't think that they are interested in customer feedback.   My feedback is that I'm not going to buy again.

Re:Daniel Alexander

Date Posted:10/30/2017 03:32:55Copy HTML

I was never going to bother reviewing the whole DA/Cover Male and other generic brands that have spawned from Joe Snyder basics of the past.  However, you're spot on.  The screen printing is a disaster for the material given it is so thin and takes the smooth look away from the material where it is printed.  Worse still are the screen printed logos on the outside which wear quickly in the wash.  I have one thong that has discoloured and stretched around the screen printing and is wrecked.  The screen printing completely impacts on long term viability.
I would completely avoid them until they decide to go back to simple labels on cloth.  Shame as I was an avid customer of Cover Male via Mensuas.  Now I don't bother buying a thing from this outlet which is unfortunate as they are a distributor of many lines which are probably just fine.  But the Cover Male experience has somewhat put me off them entirely as I do not recognise the new brand names that come out and assume they'll be afflicted with the same printing issues ruining the underwear.

Huh - interesting feedback on the DAlexander suits. I bought a brazilian back bikini and I love it. I also have a smallish arse so my tailor took in the seat a bit. Now its a perfect fit. Indeed, it has the DA logo on the seat but it does not bother me at all. Must also add that these suits are REALLY reasonable. It took me way too many years to realize that simple tailoring can fix/help the fit of a bikini. For example: if too much coverage on the ass take it in at the base seam and remove some fabric for a tighter lower fit. Since every body is different I think it is rare to get a perfect fit -- but sure is nice when you do!

I purchased http://www.be-brief.com/daniel-alexander-da510-risky-boxer-navy?search=Daniel%20Alexander%20DA510And I'm very satisfied. The medium fits me well (waist 31ish) although the elastics don't look too stretchy so we'll see how well they hold out. The fit on me it's just like the picture, the pouch is roomy but not loose, the seat just ride for a booty type short that rides to a conservative thong, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Could you tell me how much Daniel Alexander G-Strings differ from Joe Snyder Gs in pouch size? Were you able to fit all your stuff inside the pouch so that nothing would fall out? I bought already Joe Snyders g-string, and I'm not really satisfied with it. JS has only one-sized product. I don't find the confortable as I have to struggle to put everything inside, there is so little space inside. How about DAs? I learned from wearing JS to order one size smaller and it worked out with classic thongs - the "jewels" were fully covered and the fabric adjoins my secret parts so close making its shape slightly noticible.
I want to have the same effect with G-strings. JS did not work out for me this time
I was thinking of buying these
