Here's a question that we havent covered yet.Do you sleep in a thong and is that thong specificly designated as your "bedtime thong" or do you just wear any thong to slepp in?As for myself. I have 3 thongs that are comfortable as can be and have a nicefit. They grip me in the right places and ride up nicely thru the night and I dont have that cutting feeling in the morning. So, do any of you hit the hay and wear a thong? AND if you do, do you have any stories of like your mothing-in-law or someone getting an eyeful iin the kitchen at 3 in the morning??

I've been wearing thongs to bed quite regularly lately.  With the weather being a little warmer in the past weeks a t-shirt and thong is just the most comfortable thing to wear.  Usually I wear one of my Joe Boxer cotton thongs.  I like them because the fit is good and they aren't too bulky.  I'm 18 and just out of high school so I'm living at home right now.  As far as any funny experiences go, I don't believe anyone has walked in on me since I keep the door to my room closed. And no one has talked to me about my thongs so if anyone has seen me, they must just not care.

i don't think i have any thongs i assign to just bedtime thongs. I have probably worn all my thongs/g-strings to bed at one time in the past 8 years. : )

For me, if it feels good during the day...it feels good sleeping in it. So generally, if I wore it during the day, I just keep it on when I go to sleep. Unless it's cotton and I've gone running in it or something (cotton tends to hang on to sweat). With my Nike Women's Performance Thong, I can run in it and it still feels comfortable (the fabric wicks moisture away from the skin...good stuff). So, I've probably worn all of mine to bed at least once (except the Dore's, I do designate those for beach wear only).

Seoul is annoyingly humid in the summertime making thongs and g-strings
essential in the daytime. During the summer, it's nothing at all at
night, but in the winter, it's never just a thong either; it's too damn
cold that I usually end up wearing jogging tights to bed.

As for specific thongs, if what I wore that evening is clean and doesn't
feel "funky", I'll wear it. If it feels bad, I'll toss it in the laundry
and go without or sometimes (if *I* feel funky) quickly wash myself and
put on a clean pair.

I find the idea of wearing the same pair of underwear more than 16 hours
disgusting. YMMV.

I wear thongs to bed for comfort summer and winter. I like not having my genitals stick to my legs especially in hot sticky weather.  Like PeteSmith 2003, I will often put on a clean pair at night.  Who wants to got to bed wearing the same intimate clothing that has been worn all day. Often a fresh thong is just the kind of 'pick me up' that makes falling asleep easier!

Let me see, which one of my 30 odd have I not worn recently ?

Good Night Everyone....

I always sleep naked regarless of the outside temp, so rarely do I sleep in a thong. However, I do have some thongs for some times and some for others (if you know what I'm trying to say here) I wear one particular sort to work every day (I have 6 pairs the same for work), some that are definately beachwear and not underwear, some for every other day, and a few better ones I'll wear when I'm dressed up a bit fancier. I change them to suit my mood, too, just like any clothing. So yeah, some of them are for certain 'purposes' or 'occasions'.

u have to agree about stinky thongs or gross thongs. i usually slip into something clean and wear my thongs or g-stings to bed in year round temps. For me it's just comfortable.

When I sleep, I wear either a thong or boxers or I sleep nude.  It depends on how I feel or whom I am with.  I have several thongs that have good support underneath but have a roomy spandex pouch (Clubthongs.com).  I also wear a g-string to bed.  When my girlfriend and I visit, we usually lounge around in thongs and tees, but at bedtime, they usually come off.

I usually sleep naked.  Back in college I slept in my underwear and would wear my bikinis or thongs, usually whatever I'd worn that day.  However, if I have worked up a sweat (yardwork, etc) and shower in the evening, then I'll put on a clean thong to lounge around in and go to bed in.

I do wear thongs to bed more than my string bikinis because the bikinis tend ride up your butt and get very uncomfortable. To me its alot more comfortable to wear because of the support. I really dont have certain underwear just for bed, but i really like my silk thongs when sleeping.

I too prefer to sleep in whatever underwear I have worn that day. (almost always a thong now) but if I have worked hard and feel "ripe" i'll shower and put on something fresh. So far no suprises with anyone seeing me. I do admit  I would not mind. I have occasionally walked to the ice machine at a hotel and back in nothing but my thong. The thrill was great.

I couldn't  wear a thong to sleep in, as the  male nocturnal hydraulic exercises would be restricted and probably awaken me, or at least be uncomfortable.  Anyone else have this issue with their "pajamas".

By chance I came across a silk thong on the sales rack at a Dillard's store  while xmas shopping and found this pair to be the most comfortable to lounge around in.  After an evening shower I find nothing better to put on for bed, especially on a hot summer night.  To winterize, I just add a cotton shirt.

My daytime wear is usually a cotton thong depending on the activity.  For dress up and weekends it can be some of my other silk thongs.

As for any stories, none to date, that I know of.  Luckily I remember to put something on if I have guest over for the night, depending on the guest.

Right on sailor250!  I was thinking of stating the same thing myself.  There is absolutely no way I would sleep in a thong.  The few times that I have had to wear something other than loose boxers or pajamas was painful!   It is a rare morning that I do not wake-up with a raging hard-on.  Wearing anything tight-fitting to sleep in is out of the question.

Me too! Though many years ago my wife knitted me two "willy-warmers" for really cold weather - in the days before we had electric blankets! The only trouble then was the cord or elastic that held them on, could, as Sailor says, play havoc with hydraulic mechanisms

These days I wear thongs about 98% of the time in the day as underwear and nearly 100% at night. For swimming, I don't get much in the way of opportunities to wear thongs, so it's usually a bikini of some sort, though if I get the chance, I'm a thongin'!

Re:Do you sleep in a thong??

Like some others here, I prefer not to wear anything for sleeping; if I'm lying down I don't need the support so I see little reason to wear anything if I'm more comfortable in nothing at all! Having said that, if I'm visiting with others and end up sharing a room or something like that then I do wear a thong (just in case I kick the sheets off or something! Lol!). On those occasions I'll wear a clean cotton thong in a looser style to my normal 'day wear' thongs.

I have to agree with nadathing, I'm pretty much thong around the click unless we're doing the nude thing around the house or at the beach.

Also to mirror what nicthong said:

wear a clean cotton thong in a looser style to my normal 'day wear' thongs. (to sleep in)

I like my thongs alittle looser for sleeping than my normal thong times.

Yes.  I wear thongs while I'm sleeping.  However, I share a room with my brother, so I wear shorts over my thong because sometimes I sleep crazily and kick the covers and sheets off myself.  But I just love the feel of a thong while I'm sleeping.

you read my mind man, i could type the exact same thing but i wont bother.

something to add though. i have a pretty hairy ass, when i wear briefs under my pyjama shorts, that's a quilt, my shorts, my briefs, my hair insulating my ass. wearing a thong removes one of these layers and i wake up with a considerably less sweaty ass.

i always wear thongs to bed.  i think they're comfortable and they help me sleep.  some people say they have a specific thong to sleep in, an i do to.  i always wear the wider t-back thongs, like the signature cotton regular thongs from victoria's secret.  or the silk ones.  they feel like they're not even there

I always prefer to wear a silk g-string pouch to bed unless its just really hot then I go nude.  As far as the stories go, I was at the mountain snowboarding and I was staying in a cabin with a couple guys and like 8 girls, and we each had our one room, but one night the girls decided it would be funny to wake us all up at like 3 am in the morning.  Needless to say they all got a pretty good look at my tiny tiny tiny red g-string.  It was embarassing at first but later all but 2 of them said it was a good look on me

Re:Do you sleep in a thong??

I enjoy wearing a thong to bed but whether or not on any given day I'll do that or go naked or wear a different style depends on my mood. I sometimes wear briefs or other non-thong underwear to bed because they no longer get worn during the day, and for variety.

I don't really have any specific bedtime undies but on hotter nights I tend to wear g-strings (with a string waist and back) as they feel lighter and cooler than anything else. Basically, if a thong is comfy for daywear I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be at night.

I haven't worn a thong that's given me a cutting feeling in years. If a thong is doing that to you it's cheap, inferior junk; they aren't supposed to do it at all. I wouldn't put up with one that cut into me, not for a second. If you keep getting thongs that leave you sore, that tells me you're buying grade-Z stuff and need to start paying more for the real thong experience. A discount 5-pack of gray, 100% cotton thongs from K-mart (or wherever) will never offer you proper comfort. My advice would be to shop online, where all the best stuff can be found.

I don't really have any stories. A couple of times I've gotten out of bed and didn't bother to put on any top or pants, just went about my business (breakfast, washing, etc.) in my thong while the girlfriend did her thing.

I don't understand the point about getting morning wood in a thong and this being uncomfortable. All that happens is it presses into the fabric. So what! I've never found this to be uncomfortable; the sensation can sometimes even be rather pleasant. However, for those who don't agree I'd recommend you either wear your manhood pointing in the up direction or try stretchy fabrics such as microfiber.

I have worn bikini briefs since high school until I found that thongs can be justas comfortable. More and more, I am wearing thong underwear more regularly and since I shower before bedtime, I grab whatever is closest in my drawer. Here lately, it has been one of thongs and almost all of mine are cotton. As for problems in the night, I haven't found any.

It depends on my mood as to whether I wear a thong or a g-string to bed. Most of the time I?l sleep naked in the summer, but for the winter I?l often wear shorts or jogging bottoms and I?l wear a thong under those. Normally a CK body tech or 2xist. There are also the times that I?l wear something a little more kinky as my wife likes me to dress for her as much as I like her to dress for me.

As for embarrassing stories, I don? really have any. I used to share my room with my older brother, but he moved out to collage so I had the room to myself. As we both started wearing thongs more or less around the same time, when he was home it wasn? unusual for him to see me or me to see him in a thong. So no embarrassment there.

My parents never mentioned it to me, I never told them that I wore thongs and as I did my own washing since I was 13 it was never an issue that came up. They must have seem me when they woke me up, but I honestly don? remember them commenting.

I have a couple of sleep over stories to tell but I?l probably leave that for a thread that I saw on the subject.

When I moved out of my parents to live with my girlfriend, she already knew that I wore thongs and didn? have a problem with it. By the time we got together I was wearing thongs more than half the time and if I wasn? wearing thongs I? be wearing tangas or very brief slips. I? never even wore a pair of boxers until I was 30 and I thought I? see what all the fuss was about.

In the summer, I either sleep naked or, if I'm too bored to take it off, I'll keep whatever thong I've got on. During the winter, I wear thongs most of the time when I sleep. Otherwise, it'll be briefs. When my parents visit, though, it's briefs.

I sleep naked and have since I was 15 years old.  A few times I have had to quickly get dressed to answer the call of Mom (when I was home) or the kids.  I have a hard time if I am visiting and need to sleep with something on.

Thongs all day, nothing at night.

I did last night for the first time and it was alright. The thong I was wearing was too loose so it wasn't very comfortable. I have to wear one a bit snugger to keep things in place. I also have to wear shorts over them cuz I still live with my parents and brothers and I never know if one of them will come running in my room to bug me. Better safe then sorry.
