[Male - But narrative in blog is more interesting.]

Yes, that's me. And I can't believe I posted a photo of myself on this board. But this is technically a link to someone else's blog. The narrative was way off base. I actually live in the area, and I'm not Aboriginal. More like Polynesian.
For the longest time, I was planning to post this question on this board asking if anyone found an unexpected photo of himself/herself on the internet wearing a thong. And I was curious myself if I'd find one. 6 years after the photo was taken, I found one! Throughout the years, I found comments written by people in random spaces on the internet saying that they met a guy at the pool wearing a thong, pretty much saying that I was a cool person to talk with. And people I made friends with posted photos of myself with them on their Facebook accounts. I technically don't consider the latter newsworthy.
Anyone else found themselves?

Man, if you got it, flaunt it . . . . and you got it!  Looking good . . . . and appropriately dressed for a Hawaiian ironman (I'm guessing you're from Hokulea-land).

As for myself, someone on this board found a photo of me in a thong on the internet and posted it here, so it was unexpected.  It's when I ran San Francisco's Bay-to-Breakers 12k road race a few years back costumed as a swimmer, in a red Speedo thong, a red swim cap, goggles around my neck, and red racing flats.  Such attire didn't impede my race, was great fun, and a good conversation starter after crossing the finish line.  Since some run that race naked, no one complained I was inappropriately dressed.  Nor did they complain when I ran it naked.  That was fun, too, and I unexpectedly found photos on the internet . . . . but didn't post them here!

Thanks for posting, that blog comment was priceless.  Especially about your tonsils!

On two separate occasions I've turned up in the background of swimming pool blog photos. Looking closely you can tell I'm wearing a g-string, however my face was not facing the camera so identification would have been impossible. What was interesting was that on both occasions my position was such that I could just as easily have been left out of the photo, so it seems a conscious decision was made to include me. I posted a comment on each blog that it was me, but there was no reply. I suspect that the photographer was probably just as surprised to have me reading the blog as I was to see my photo.

Several years ago I found this photo of me sunning in Balboa Park. I don't recall where I found it but I saved it and posted it on my Flickr account.

I have twice found photos of me on Twitter that other people took.  One was about two years ago and the other was just earlier this week.  The first time I just liked the person tweet and did not say much.  This last time though I told the person that was me and that was cool that she took a pic.  I am sure many others have taken pics that I do not even know about.  There was other time when I found a tweet from someone commenting about a guy running by her in a thong.  I could tell she was talking about me but no picture.  With so many photos out there on the internet pics are easily buried and forgotten.  But I do like seeing my picture online when it happens!

I have found several of my pictures in different places over the years. To be honest I kind of like it specially reading the comments of people liking my butt

It's happened to me a couple times and yeah, it's hot. Had a girl retweet a tan line pic from Instagram and had someone post a pic of my tan lined-ass on a message board. @@@@@@ shots are all over tumblr too!

The first time I wore a thong with anyone other than my husband and strangers was during a visit to my parent's cabin for a holiday weekend. It was just the family (my husband, mom, dad, and my two brothers), so I figured why not.

The trip was a lot of fun. About a week later I got a strange strange message from my aunt on Facebook. It was in a joking tone about how she hadn't seen so much of me since I was little. I wasn't really sure what it was about, but I got a similar message from another family member. This made me wonder, so I took a look at my mom's Facebook page to see if she'd posted anything.

Sure enough, she'd posted a bunch of pictures from our vacation completely unfiltered. There I was for all to see. So embarrassing! My mom took the photos down, but not after most of my family had seen them.

I just came across someone using one of my thong pictures as their Twitter profile pic! I guess it was somewhat flattering that they used one my my butt pics as theirs but at the same time I'm like, "That's my butt not yours!!"

Well, it finally happened today. After almost 35 years of wearing a thong or g-string on public beaches, someone said do you go to Galveston beach? I told him I have been there 3 or 4 times in the last 2 years. He said there is a video you you in a tanga on the beach. I said maybe. I met my friend earlier this month, we both like to go to the same areas at Lake Lanier. He and his family have shared several coves with me in the last 2 weeks. I have always been in a thong or g-string when he has seen me. I was out on my kayak today in a white bulge JS thong not expecting many people. This suit clearly gets very revealing so I usually only wear it when I know I can be a distance from others. I was in the cove when Pablo and his family waved and pulled their boat in beside me. It was Pablo's birthday and we talked a lot. That is when he told me I was on Facebook. I was talking with his cousin when he came up and showed me the video. And YES, it is me. In fact, 3.1 million people have seen the video. Of course, there may be other videos out there of me, but to find out there is one that clearly is me and that over 3.1 million people have seen it, it is surprising I am just now having someone recognize me from the video. I find that most people comment what they think others think is normal and would say, and sometimes not what they really feel. When in a one on one situation, I rarely get anything except positive comments and smiles.

Tobias, I agree. Most people, especially online or in groups, will read / decipher what others are saying, and copy the same. Even you know I struggle with what others think, but I’m still working past that. Hope to see you out at Lanier sometime soon.

Over dinner with a neighbour we were discussing my mothers apartment in Mallorca and I was explaining the upscale marina next door. The first video on Youtube of Puerto Portals starts on the beach outside our apartment. Sunset on the beach and strolling through the background, picking up beach trash, is me.

What great timing JM! That YouTuber has over 1000 videos. I’m guessing that she often checks her background before she starts an intro like that. Therefore, JM I think you were destined to be featured in it when she saw you. I think when I go visit, I will take my yacht! Looks like a great smaller location.

Browsing website with topic of local clothing optional beach i visit. Group of gals had photo taken for birthday. In background above gals head far away i recognized myself standing profile back. Believe i posted the photo on this forum. Some were shocked commenting that everyone had their clothes on the crowded beach. Only person was me naked. Although wasn’t only male nude but in the certain section i certainly was surrounded by lot of textile clothed people.

Has anyone seen themselves on a live cam while in a thong? at a pool or at a beach?? (maybe not live in real time but later viewed?) I've seen myself on probably 6-8 beach web cams over the years. I also saw myself on the live cam at the Atlantic Shores Resort in Key West back in the day when it was open, and I wasn't wearing even a thong. That cam got a lot of action with partiers phoning their friends up north during the winter and telling them to look at the bare fun they're having. (Waving to the camera now- yeah that's not my hand- I can't show you the places it's been in the last 24 hr!) Has anyone seen yourself in someone's video for posting when you were not the subject? Or when they video'd you without your permission? I've been in a couple of Youtube videos over the years taken on Miami Beach in micro G strings- I think they're both taken down now. The photog in one was admiring, in another was for ridicule- and all the comments were positive and against the ridicule- go figure!
