Thursday I spent 5 hours out at Grant Park in Milwaukee, WI on Lake Michigan while I waited for my nieces delayed plane. I was north of the main beach near the middle water break structure. It had rained earlier in the day so there was not a ton of traffic. Maybe 25 people at the main beach and 9 walked past me. Half said hi, half looked away, two older (55 plus) ladiesmade small talk for awhile and said I had a nice tan.I started on the sand but the flies were horrible, so I walked up and down the beach for awhile wading in the water and then I laid out on the wave break and relaxed. It was a nice way to spend a afternoon. It beat the airport bookstore.

I usually thong at Bradford Beach just north of downtown.  Are you form Milwaukee or just visiting?  Have you thonged when the beach is busy?  Always looking for more people in Wisconsin who enjoy tanning in thongs.

I have been to Grant park 4 times after hearing thongs were tolerated on this forum.  It has never been busy when I have been there.

I am from near Fond du Lac so I only go to Grant when I am on the south side for something else.   If I am going to travel only to relax I go to Mazo beach north of Madison and bare it all.

How big is Bradford beach and which area have you thonged?

Bradford is quite large, if you include the north portion.  The entire beach is visible form the street and sidewalk/bike path.  Anywhere on the beach is okay, with most people at the side end and around the beach house.  However, you will probably be the only thong, and you may get the rare comment, esecially later in the afternoon.

Been down to Grant Park a few times in a thong this summer. It has definitely gotten more popular in recent times, and I stick to the area just north of the breakwaters. That far out, you don't see too many people. Nevertheless, I had a whole family and a couple of sea glass collectors near me while I was in a small g-string. They didn't say anything, but they didn't leave either, so I just carried on. I slip on a BWet bikini to walk back to the north end, which is generally pretty busy. Few things turn heads like a man in a bikini on a Milwaukee beach, so I figure there's no sense pressing my luck wearing anything less closer to the main areas.

I spent a couple hours at Grant last week in a Gstring . I set up north of the main beach and was left alone. A few giggles from an group of teens walking through but nothing else. I went to Bradford a couple weeks ago but opted for short shorts due to the crowd and my wife being nervous when I thong on a busy beach

"North of the main beach" being between the southern beach and the breakwaters, or north of the beach from the Seven Bridges path? Just curious because I have yet to wear a thong in any of the slightly more populated areas. Nice to hear that it went well.

I am just north of the main beach, before the breakwater,  there is people around but no one has ever harrassed me. Sorry for the delay in answering our thong season is pretty much over.
