I just got my order for the Hom freddy string,I think that is spelled right, but I love them I wear CK seemless mirco thong, when I work out but I wanted to try something different, and the hom has a norrower string and is like you don't even know their there,I use to wear boxers unless I workout, but the hom thong is the way to go.Would like to try the plume string but I can't find them anywear.

I've also recently bought some Freddy strings. One size up from what I usually wear (Hom is pretty tight). At first they are very snug and comfy but after a while you will start to feel the small string pressing (read: riding up your ass) and it starts to feel uncomfertable since it's not very elastic more rope-ish. I hope this is only something you have to get used to, just like the first days wearing a 'normal' thong (experience from years ago).

Any experiences from regular Freddy String wearers?

I predict you'll get used to it.  I wear the HOM Fredy string a lot, one of my favorites, and no rear string problems anymore.  Like you, I bought one size up, a Large for my 34" waist.  Perfect.

Like most thong wearers, I've tried a number of styles until I've found those that fit me best and are most comfortable for every day, all day wear. I now wear only three styles of thong that are my 'ideal' fit: the most frequent and preferred style is the HOM Freddy String; the second is a moderate front, 1/2" side woven mesh thong from Dor? and third is the HOM Plume thong.

HOM run small but I'm slim and I like it tight so size small suits me just fine. I've never found the back of the Freddy string uncomfortable and actually think the back string idea is great because it minimises the material between your cheeks but still gives you the thong look (rather than the g-string look), which I prefer. The Freddy string also sits well on my hips (whereas the Plume is designed to sit more at the waist), which means the it is ideal under my ultra low rise jeans and pants.

HOM are great quality and the Freddy and Plume styles are extremely comfortable. I'd recommend them both to anyone!

I like the look of both of these HOM thongs but is there an internet site that sells them at a reasonable price?  They seem a bit on the pricey side.

HOM set the price that we have to sell them for im afraid but when you think about it you actually get two in the pack so they don't work out too bad. Also it all depends on where you buy them from as some retailers (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) offer incentives for you to buy like loyalty points that you could cash in on future purchases for money off, discount codes etc. etc. so it all adds up to you getting a better deal.

I started out with the fredy thong but like ThongTastic i found the 'rope' tore the hell out my ass and it really put me off them!

The HOM Sports thong was better both the incarnations from quite a few years back and one from only 2yrs ago, they don't do the 'arse tearing to coin a phrase from any earlier comment, they are more like undergear French thong if anyone had a chance of wearing them,  if not then maybe a softer joe boxer thong may be closer to imagine. Some European stores do stock the newer HOM sport thongs but they are running out, check them out.

Hom has really stripped their catalog down. They used to offer so much more. I couldn’t afford it at the time, but the 3001 line looked incredible. Now they offer next to nothing.

Same, i still have some Hom Sports thongs in white which sort of still fit me (bit tight atm till i go gym lol) i too wish they still made them, possibly they will in the future as the nearest to them i can find at the moment is the Hom HO1 thongs they do, they seem similar but still not quite like the Sports one.

A Hom Freddy was the first thong I ever bought because at the time - 2004 - House of Fraser stocked them. I laughed at the comments about the 'rope' string tearing the arse because I didn't like the Hom Freddy at first due to that reason either. I stumbled across a Hom Sports thong a few months later and that was superb. I owned that for about 5 years and wore it out! I bought a Freddy again about 18 months ago and I think the more recent ones are more comfortable to wear. I'd been inspired after trying some Doreanse 1392, which are similar in design. The Hom Bachelor (black with pink and grey stripes) was another of my early favourites before I got my first Plumes.
