I have a few JS thongs, one of them is of the bulge variety. Boy does that one draw looks, even under clothing. The bulge is so pronounced that I was actually very self conscious to even wear it beneath clothing at first, but after seeing some of the attention it was drawing, it became a favorite.

@gsj.   I have the Mango Thong.  Coming out of the water will show your stuff until you dry off a little.  I have worn it out to the beach a few times a have to time my exit so that nobody is too close.  I don't know about a pool in your case though.

I've been wearing it kayaking and it's great. It is pretty dramatic - almost like wearing a c-ring. I will strip-off my clothes so as not to get sweaty inflating the boat and apply a substantial coat of sunscreen oil so it can set on my skin before I get in the sun. Even in the shade, pumping-up the boat works up quite a sweat and I have had some sustained "inspection" of me while carrying gear to the boat ramp. I had a rather lengthy conversation with a Ranger (here they are LEOs) and all he wanted to know about was the boat, so the thong was no issue.Highly recommended. If you are in lake water, the white one will not remain that crisp white color, so maybe a colored one would be better.

Alphamoda was my favourite brand, but they stopped a few years ago, but they had good variety and the fit and comfort was outstanding; it felt like you had nothing on. Now I only have JSnyders. First ones were a bit variable in quality (seams poorly sewn and variable sizing) and fit, but the ones bought in the last few years seem to have improved a lot - unless I've just been lucky. Quality of the material is very good and well put together now.

To give an idea of where I’m at and my preferences: I’m not able to wear beach thongs often where I live and I have no interest in attracting the attention of potential mates or of pushing boundaries. My personal experiences of JS suits are this: I always buy small - even though I’m probably more a medium and my ‘package’ is a bit bigger than average. Early suits had a bit of gapping at the sides, especially if you wear pointing down which pushes the pouch out more, but if you are mostly up or to the side as I do, the small gapping I could live with (no one would notice unless very close to you). Newer ones seem to stretch better to accommodate. The smaller fit looks better I think and allows for the fact that all swimsuits start to stretch and go a bit baggy in time; this gives me a bit longer useful wear out of them.

* JS capri thong was my first. Never sure about the narrow fit which definitely emphasises my shaft and what’s more, I have to point up too. Wife loves it! Only worn on certain beaches as I feel it’s a bit “out there” for most. I won’t replace it when I chuck it. Good on the bottom though and comfy. A bit of gapping.
* Regular bikini - navy. I’ll wear this at any pool and any beach. Mainly a swimming suit. Yes, it’s small and you are aware that you will be noticed by some, but it’s absolutely fine anywhere. Feels tight on me in a small - but I prefer that for swimming.
* Regular thong - blue. I haven’t worn it as much as I’d like. It’s fine and the cut is good, if a little low on me (probably should've got a medium). You could wear it at most beaches without drawing too much attention to yourself and then only when you turn around. Something a bit boring about it though and not as good as my worn out alphamodas.
* Bulge thong - red. I bought this out of curiosity. Honestly, I can’t see me ever wearing it in a public place or around my daughter. Nice bit of fun, but just too much emphasis on the bulge. Very comfy though and nice as underwear - as long as you don’t have it on for too long and get too sweaty.
* Capri bikinis - turquoise and navy. The navy is brand new and never worn outside yet, but looks fantastic. The turquoise one has had a lot of wear. Always in two minds about these: I feel they can be worn on most beaches and I’ve worn it at a spa and resort pool, fine. Whether I could wear it at a public swimming pool here is a maybe. It will give an intermediate tan line, especially if you don't tuck it in and does tend to hide on one side more than the other, so I’m not sure I’d wear it for sunbathing when I want more of me tanned and a sharper line. Comfort great but you are definitely aware of the back and going up your bottom crack. I find that very sexy, but there’s also something feminine about that too. Depending how comfortable I feel about expressing that side, will affect whether I want to wear it. Would I wear it in front of my mates though?

I recently got 2 of the Joe Snyder Bulge Thong.  I love that the pouch is small and really firms up the whole package.   However, the back rides about 2" lower than any other of their thongs that I have.   That just digs into your crack and makes it uncomfortable.  I have to lower it even more to help it pull out while I wear it.  I would love to wear it at the beach but could probably only wear it properly for 30-50 minutes before I've had it.  I put my review of it on Malebasics.com 4 days ago.  I wonder if they will post it...  Funny, I just looked and it is not posted yet.  I rated it 1 or 2 stars and there have been no reviewers.

Re:Joe Snyder suits

Date Posted:01/28/2017 01:16:14Copy HTML

@CKYour comment about the review on Malebasics caught my attention and it will be interesting to see if they eventually post it. Frankly, I am very skeptical about reviews as I have written (in good taste) a few fairly negative reviews on several websites including Mensuas.com and abcunderwear.com, and they were never posted. Conversely, all of the positive reviews I wrote were posted. This has led me to the conclusion that reviews are practically useless and should not be trusted. It is possible that if there are multiple positive reviews, the item might be good, but items with no reviews may actually be very poor.

P.S. I do not wish to hijack this thread and please excuse me for going off-topic. Relative to Joe Snyder, I have not purchased any of their swimwear for many years because, although I am only average in size, I have found Joe Snyder pouches to be too small resulting in unwanted exposure.

@T_for_2, as far as I know, most 'reviews' are reviewed before they are posted. I have given negative reviews on Mensuas before and they were never posted. That's why I never trust the reviews. They are always 4-5 stars and always sounds good. For those items which does not have reviews, you can take it that there weren't any positive reviews. Absence of review = not a good product (because they have been censored away).

Just received my ebay order of Joe Snyder suits. The G-string posing (black), bulge tanga (mango), and rio thong (turquoise) . Now im not endowed by no means lol but the g leaves a lil fallout, kinda disappointed but oh well, its not horribly noticeable.  The tanga and rio are perfect. Rio and tanga sized in a med and fit perfectly. Cant wait to get off work in 6 mos and go on vacation. Planning a trip to Thailand for a month or so.

They're fine. Nothing exciting about this model. I have one in navy that I use for regular swimming sometimes. Comfortable and briefer than those worn by any other swimmers, but acceptable everywhere when you aren't sure.

Just got my first JS bulge thong. I love it in back boy dang that pouch in front doesn't leave much room to grow. If I wear a C-ring underneath it creates quite the bulge! Overall I like it. Might be a good tanning thong too for lines.

I have quite a few joe Snyder thongs, and recently tried the bulge thong which I do like. The joe Snyder g-string is just far too small sadly and I cannot fit everything in to the front pouch, I am not particularly large on manhood either.

njthonger - I'm the same waist size but always buy small. Perhaps I shouldn't, but as swimwear always gets baggy over time, I prefer to go a size down. Comparing my new capri bikini with my old one, it's much smaller. The new one does turn into a thong more readily, but I kind of like that.

What is the fit of the Kini like?  It says its only one size.  I'm a 32 inch waist and usually go for a medium for JS thongs.  Does the pouch have the same room as the regular thong?

Re:Joe Snyder suits

Date Posted:10/17/2017 03:02:42Copy HTML

My size is 32 as well and use a medium. The Kini for me seems to fit fine, but the suit itself seems a little strange on my frame. For me the pouch is a bit small and compresses everting flat up to my body. I prefer a larger pouch for comfort and ease. I don’t find this pouch the most comfortable. The rear wants to be a thong when I move. I have us d it when a thong was frowned upon and then even had some people not too happy, too bad. The side straps seem to stay in place. I have better pieces that this in my wardrobe in my opinion.

'My size is 32 as well and use a medium' - me too.I find the JS Kini an excellent suit - just enough back & front cover when required but brief enough for sunning. I have had several over the years & all have fitted fine.

My waist size is 33 and I like to wear the Kini as underwear. Rear coverage is pretty minimal and normally rides up to thong coverage.  In the water I would definitely have  problem keeping it on as you swim or exit the water.

I’m not sure if this is against forum rules, but I’ll try anyway as I see no harm in it. I have a bunch of Joe Snyder bulge thongs in size M available for sale (brand new with tags never worn).
Reason for sale is, I prefer the ultra stick out bulge that I’ve purchased in the past from thongbiker, and will try jovana in the near future.

All items in AUD
--- 1x JS Bulge in M (colour BLUE) $25 --------SOLD---------
1x JS Bulge in M (colour PURPLE) $25
1x JS Bulge in M (colour RED) $25
1x JS Tanga (regular thong) in M (colour BLACK PEARL) $24

+ Plus postage and paypal fees (calculated)
Items located in Australia so AU buyers only, either cheap shipping available (envelope standard post, almost $2), or express post (almost $7) with tracking.
NO international postage as it will be too expensive negating any savings.
*** UPDATE ** These are available until end March '18. After that they will go on ebay (for much higher $$) but later in the year (around December)

Re:Joe Snyder suits

I think the issue is the word "tanga." In Spanish, tanga is the word for thong. In English, it is most commonly used to describe a suit more like a string bikini. Since Joe Snyder is a Mexican company, I think that this was just a matter of the word not being translated when the English language site was prepared.

I have both the blue and the black versions and they give the best tan lines because they ride at the perfect point.  The material is super comfortable, but the pouch area is a little constraining.  I like the blue stripe myself. Might have to add it to the collection.

Re:Joe Snyder suits

I have two of the Tangas and they are definitely thongs.  This style is cut on the small side compared to all other styles that I have.  The back strap fits more like a Y back since it is shorter and the pouch is their most low and small cut.   I only end up wearing mine for a few hours to get sun and then to something else.  No problems with the material or workmanship quality at all.

This brand's classic thongs suit me best. I only have Clever Moda and JS thongs in my wardrobe. However the pouch in bulge thongs is too small  and too tight for me. I can't keep all the package inside. The same is with g-strings. Anyway I've already ordered blue/white striped thongs and waiting the delivery.

Re:Joe Snyder suits

Agree that Joe Snyder thongs give the best tan lines. All my "tanning thongs" are Joe Snyder. Good material and best of all they stay in place, and are easy to line up so you get the same, sharp consistent tan line.
Never tried the kini though, may have to pick one up!

Re:Joe Snyder suits

@ abczyxabczyx, Most of Joe Snyder’s products are made from a much lighter weight material than is usually used in true swimwear. Agreed, their suits make for ideal swimwear but they do not stand up to heavily chlorinated water very well. I used to wear one of their standard cut thongs to swim in and even though I always washed it out properly after every use it still didn’t last long. @ Chris28j I was given a white ‘sock it’ g-string for my birthday this year by an old tanning buddy of mine along with the dare to wear it alongside them on Brighton Beach. A few days later we hit the beach together and her eyes nearly fell out of her head when she saw I was actually wearing it! Along with a few other beach goers I might add!!! All I can say is, be under no illusion, it is one seriously small, very revealing suit! It’s design puts you on such good display that anybody looking will be left in no doubt as to EXACTLY what you are packing!!! Not for the faint hearted I can tell you.

I am getting ready to attend another conference in Florida, and I am starting to think of gettingbsome swimsuits to pack. This last summer, a local store started to stock a couple of Joe Snyder styles, and I have fallen in love with my royal blue classic bikini and my navy kini, when I am at places that don't allow thongs. The resort I will be staying at does not allow thongs, so I want a new suit or two. The two that caught my eye are the bulge bikini (thinking of wine) and the maxibulge capri (in navy). Any feedback on those two styles? I am not hugely endowed, so is one of these styles better for smaller guys? I really like the ruched bum on the maxibulge. Also, what about these two colours? I am looking at purchasing through Malebasics in Canada. What is shipping like? How long? Thanks in advance for feedback.

I too have a navy Kini - just the job to (just) cover the essentials. I have found Snyder navy blue lasts well but several suits in (claret red) wine didn't last at all well, elastic wise. This colour since avoided.

@ thong_patrick I really like the classic JS bikini too. In answer to your question, the JS bulge bikini pouch fits me nice and snug (I am not well-endowed) and looks great, though it is more "out there" so you need a bit more confidence to wear in public

I posted here before about the US JS website.  I had my credit card hacked after a purchse from Joe-snyder.us .  It was a brand new card. A thonger friend had his card hacked from them as well, I sent an e mail to JS telling them that their credit card processing company is hacking credit cards. I got ZERO response.  Its the US site processed through Male Basics out of Miami.

Just be aware.
