Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:01/25/2020 04:31:41Copy HTML XChip - Thank you on behalf of those who are suffering. It's truly horrific. Some of these people have had two years of drought, now this.
Three American pilots were lost a few days ago when their aircraft went down while fighting fires. It really is a battle ground out there.

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:10/03/2020 04:01:16Copy HTML About time there is some decent weather in Melbourne! Woo hoo!!
Finally got the chance to lay out in my new white cocksox swim thong and Start working on getting some tan lines back.
Such a comfortable thong. not the cheapest in the collection but definitely worth it.
Now I’m looking forward to wearing to to as many of the bayside beaches around Melbourne this summer.
Who else is looking forward to a Melbourne summer to get the tan lines back!?

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:11/14/2020 05:55:35Copy HTML sexyboy23 - I certainly am! Now that the weather is warming up, I can't wait to get back out in a thong. I have a thonging holiday planned for early January in Melbourne. I'm staying right near the beach in Port Melbourne and plan to spend most of my time at Port Melbourne Beach. Can't wait!

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:11/17/2020 01:57:08Copy HTML Well hopefully we are there at the same time. It’s always nice having another thonger on the beach, especially in Melbourne. Doesn’t happen too often.
Happened once or twice last year but hopefully we can get a few people there and make a day of it.

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:01/01/2021 06:43:57Copy HTML Great start to the new year.
Got down to a beach in Chelsea to lay out in my floral cocksox swim thong. A lot of people around but no issues at all.
Walked from the car to my spot in just a short tshirt and my thong. Felt great to be finally down the beach enjoying the sun
When I was leaving I was feeling a little bold so I left only wearing my thong and my tshirt that wasn’t long enough to cover my exposed buns and headed to the local bottle shop.
I parked close and walked in to the shop. The person working there gave me a smile and went behind the register and waited for me. I got my drinks and walked to the register and he smiled again. I smiled back and purchased my drinks. I thanked him and walked out. Had to wait to cross the road with a couple of people on the footpath.
I got back into my car with a big smile on my face. This could be the start of a very good summer break!

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:03/21/2022 08:58:59Copy HTML Coming to the end of the warm weather in Melbourne and happy to have had a few free days to explore and get some sun.
I wore a skinz Y back g string to some of the bayside beaches. I was able to stroll around and go to and from the water without any bad attention. |

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:08/19/2023 12:33:47Copy HTML Any guys worn a thong to their local pool? I go to Brunswick Baths with my wife to use the spa and sauna and see a lot of women in thongs but so far no men. Maybe I need to bit the bullet and set the trend. |

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:08/19/2023 01:21:11Copy HTML I'm not in your country but I've been going to my local pools without issue until last week. I was with my family and we swam for a good 2 hours, then when we were leaving the life guard came and talked to me while we were in the family shower and mentioned that next time I could wear a speedo but I need to cover the back.... oh. It was a life guard I've never seen before so maybe it's just his personal opinion? Kind of a weird experience as I haven't had issues in the past.

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:08/19/2023 06:04:45Copy HTML Sounds like a personal opinion. I would not let it change what you wear.
However it would be a shame if he said the same to others who might be more sensitive to criticism. |

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:08/26/2023 04:44:28Copy HTML You're right. Was going to let it go but we emailed them to ask:
Hello, just a quick question. My family has been coming to YMCA in Edmonton for many years. Both me and my husband wear thong swim bottoms and haven't had any issues but last week my husband was told he can't wear "that" anymore and must cover his bum while we were out with the family. Obviously it's not sexual and we're in a family setting with our kids, just wondering if our swimwear for the last many years has been inappropriate or if the sudden change is just with one life guard or maybe the issue is with the male derriere? I have never been asked to cover my bum.
We have no problem wearing larger swim bottoms (and half the time we do) if that's what the rules require. We just found it odd that it hasn't been a problem until now and would like to wear whatever is clean on that day.
Thanks in advance for your response.
Reply:
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have you caused you - our goal as an association is to be inclusive with our swim wear policies. The swim wear you had mentioned above is considered acceptable in our facilities, so I am assuming this may have been an incorrect assumption made on the part of our lifeguard. |

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:08/26/2023 09:32:38Copy HTML To Knicks11,
I used to wear a thong at Fitzroy Swimming pool, until one day the manager of the pool approached me and suggested me to wear a less revealing bathers..
It came as a surprise to me, as I had been wearing a thong for months at that pool. After my gym workout I used to stop there for an hour of swim, spa and sauna. Took precautions and always wore a towel around my waist covering between the changing rooms and the swimming pool. Then once in the indoor area put the towel in the perch and just wore the thong. Plenty of ladies and girls in the spa and sauna wearing thongs, me the only guy. No one ever complained.
One day while doing my usual routine, walked 2 steps without my towel to dive in the pool, and noticed a fit guy wearing a black speedo who seemed to be the king of the pool, so full of himself. He noticed me and perhaps didn't like another guy in the pool more muscular than him, and wearing a thong!
Following that I observed that he started to chit chat the other swimmers who he seemed to be familiar to, all looking at my direction.. I didn't give it much importance.
Until one hour later when I put my towel back around my waist and started to walk back to the showers. The manager approached me and said to me:
I want to congratulate you for having the courage of wearing a 'g', it's very progressive (actually Fitzroy must be the most progressive suburb in all Australia in my opinion)....
But, he said, on the other hand, at this time of the day (1 PM) we have kids who come to the pool, and perhaps it's not appropriate for them to see a guy in a thong. I said my thong is only visible for a few seconds between the time a strip off my towel and walk to the water.
I never saw even 1 kid at that time of the day ever in that swimming pool. And as I said before, I could see plenty of women wearing thongs at any time.
Then I tied knots and came to this conclusion: the Adonis in the black speedo complained about my thong. And unfortunately in Australia, they take very seriously any complaints from the public. Which is very bad, because you only need one weirdo to complain about anything, and the fun of other people might come to an end.
I never stepped a foot in that swimming pool again. I feel it was very unfair, and it pissed me off. It's being 5 years since then.
I wish you good luck on wearing your thong at Brunswick Baths, you are lucky enough to be in the company of a lady; and wearing a thong too. Go for it, and wear it with confidence and pride. Single men on their own are not the luckiest people on earth, at the gym, at the beach, if on your own you can become the target. Same at the nudist beach, some men who are enjoying the company of a lady at their side, can mock you and ridicule you just to look macho next to their woman. Especially if they see you as a menace to catch the attention of their lady.
But: never give up doing what you enjoy in life. Try to frequent places, beaches and pools that make you feel welcome.
cheers

Re:Melbourne Australia Date Posted:12/15/2024 04:39:30Copy HTML Hey everyone. I'm in Melbourne on holidays in early January. I'm hoping for some warm, sunny weather. If anyone would like to come thonging, I'll be thonging on January 6th to 10th from Port Melbourne Beach to St. Kilda Beach (particularly at Port Melbourne Beach). If you'd like to meet up, please private message me. I'm also keen to do a long "thong walk" along the bay between St. Kilda and Port Melbourne. If you'd like to join in, let me know!
