The sapphire is a very nice shade of blue. I have a poser thong in sapphire.
There is a minor disadvantage: the color fades rather quickly.
I wore my poser about 12 times to the beach (2,5 to 3 hours per day) and it is faded notably.
I didn't use it in swimming pools, just on the beach.
I never had this experience with navy or royal blue.

I just got a suit in Mallard.  I thought it was a green and it sort of is, but it also is blue, depending on the light.  Great color!

I have a classic rio in Mallard. It is a very deep green. I really don't see any blue in it, but maybe I just haven't been in the right lighting. I like the color a lot

I wish muscleskins made their thongs in underwear fabric as well, like cotton or micro fiber. Love their fit. I always order the micro with standard pouch and thong back with 3/8 strap. I have got couple of questions:Do people wear these as regular underwear as well or at the gym? I wear mines as undies.  How small is the narrow pouch? What's the thinnest fabric they have? Are the matte fabrics as thin as the shiny ones? I have an old safari print that is so silky and thin that I just love it. Haven't worn it that much. Years later, I have grown a bit and they are really tight on me. I would like those types of thin fabrics.

Hi gradstudch, I always order Muscleskins with a narrow pouch. For the poser the narrow is really narrow. Everything just fits in it.
For the classic narrow is much wider.
I have both shiny and matte fabrics. Both fabrics are I think about the same thickness. I find the matte fabrics look better, but that is just a personal opinion. There is almost no difference in stretch either.
Muscleskins used to have a more silky fabric which was called supersatin. I have had one in super satin too. A great fabric but more delicate then the fabrics which are used now.

Can somebody comment on the fit of the micro thong. I have posers and a torpedo cut but want to know how the fit of the micro is. It seems we all like the poser. How does the micro fit with the dart instead of the seam?

Re:Muscleskins

Last year I ordered a classic (lean back) together with two poser thongs. I only wear the micro when a thong is not possible.
I hesitated between the micro and the classic. In the end I choose the classic because of the choice for narrow/standard/wide pouch options.
The micro has small/standard/large. The small I like the best when checking the pictures on the site, but I was a bit unsure if it wouldn't be too tight.
The narrow classic was just right for me. Tight enough but not too tight.
Maybe I will try the micro when ordering again.

Personally I find both Classic and Micro styles a bit uncomfortable.   The Classic probably rates better because of the seam, but still is not as comfy as the Poser.  Whenever I wear a Classic, it has to be in the 10 o'clock position, and ironically this becomes even more on your face than a Poser, as the contour of your d*ick is in all its glory, especially if a non-dark colour.I dislike the Micro;  the small dart makes the pouch too flat and it feels very uncomfortable. The Poser feels more natural to me;   the 6 o-clock position with the head pointing down is also more comfortable.   Depending on the colour and the fabric, sometimes an innocent Poser can become as audacious as a Torpedo, which is something I always avoid.A Poser customised to a depth of +2 cm keeps everything covered and avoids the protrude shape of a Torpedo.

I have tried the Classic with several pouch depths, and the +3cm depth seems to be not only comfortable but also provides a pretty good profile without being excessive. The Classic with the standard-depth pouch is, at least for me, somewhat too flat and restrictive in front.

Thinking of going with a MS Micro 1/2" poser with a thong back and a +2 cm standard front. Question is - is the 1/2" too small on the sides our should I go with a 3/4? I want some sharp tan lines all around and usually tan in a Joe Snyder Rio.

Re:Muscleskins

1/2" is perfect for tanning in my opinion.  Go for it!

Re:Muscleskins

Yes, the 1/2" sides are perfect! I have a few poser  thongs and a classic bikini with 1/2" straps.
My latest orders from MS are poser thongs with 3/8" straps. The fit is comparable to the 1/2'' and the tanlines even smaller.
On a thong I like the 3/8" even more than the 1/2", because I like the minimalistic look.

All my Muscleskins suits (2 classic thongs, 1 poser thong, and 1 classic rio) have 1/2"sides, and I love the look. I've thought about ordering a 3/8" side, but more likely will stick with what works when I order next

Re:Muscleskins

@tradof:   I have worn the Skinz Stuffit thong as well as both the Muscleskins Poser and Classic thongs.  I definitely prefer Muscleskins because, even with having only very average endowment, I have found the Stuffit pouch to be somewhat tight and on the small side. With Muscleskins you have much greater flexibility as you can specify both the width and depth of the pouch. That said, I know that some people on this board swear by the Skinz Stuffit thong, and it really is a matter of personal preference.

I have all 3 that  tradof asked about - Skinz M77U Stuffit thong, MS Poser and Classic.   Of the three an M77U in ThinSkinz fabric is my favorite,  The Poser if my preferred suit from MS and I am not a fan of the MS Classic for pouch fit

Re:Muscleskins

Date Posted:04/14/2018 04:49:43Copy HTML

I agree wwith tnline about the MS micro. If you are used to a suit like a poser, the micro is less comfortable. Your stuff is more 'compressed'. Wearing a poser feels more like wearing almost nothing. The micro is more 'present'. I only wear my micro (with lean back), when a thong is not approporiate, which is not often.
I don't have a Skinz stuffit so I can't comment on this suit. I like the thin Skinz fabric. It's a pity Skinz' shipping rates are so high for shipments to Europe.

Over some time, I've patronized several on-line sources and have found good and bad aspects of just about all.  I think Muscleskins had the best workmanship of all I've experienced and has very high quality fabrics also, perhaps the best on that too, and service/response is pretty good too.  But they are limited in the variety of colors/patterns available.  Also, while they provide a range of styles, they do have certain limits and if you have certain style details in mind, they may not accommodate those to your satisfaction.  Overall, they are my preferred source.

Re:Muscleskins

I have a ton of both muscleskins and skinzwear. Just ordered 3 more muscle skin poser  sport thongs with 3/8, 1/2”, and 3/4” sides in neon colors for an upcoming trip. I find the 3/8 sides start to dig in after a few hrs. If I plan on using them at the beach I order the negative 2 pouch depth to accommodate for shrinkage.   The classic fit mashes my junk down too much and isn’t comfortable at all unless I order it with a plus 2 pouch depth but at that point just get a poser. The poser pouch  is the way a mans anatomy naturally hangs that’s why it’s so comfortable.  Cocksox pouch is in between the muscleskins poser and torpedo. I prefer cocksox as underwear bc the fabric is better but the pouch is too out there to wear to the beach for my taste. I won’t try the torpedo. Just too much... As far as skinzwear goes. I only order items in the Thinskinz fabric. All their other fabric is irritating after a bit. Only fabric better is Greg Homme hyperstretch or BodyAware invisible strut thong. Those 2 are phenomenal during the summer when it’s hot. But very fine fabric. Won’t last more than a year. I am an everyday wearer though so I’m not complaining.  Sorry got a little off topic. Moral of the story is try them all and find one that you like.

I also believe I will go back to Muscleskins;  I purchased from Skinzwear over the last 2 years, and although I admit they provide a very good quality product, I think that MS provides a better fit  (Skinz material tends to be too stretchy, M25 was ok,  M44 only fit me thanks to the super stretchy fabric, M67 was ok,  and M77 - Stuffit,  I did struggle to fit in,  again the super stretchy made it possible ) and the shipping cost from Skinzwear is almost unafordable.   I also will order a +2 or +3 cm pouch depth,  I like to be comfortable in my favourite position the 6 o'clock.  I think Muscleskins is better value for money.

Re:Muscleskins

I'm on your side John. Skinz has slightly better (fabric) quality. I have two Skinz suits which still look like they are brand new.Muscleskins' fit is perfect (for my anatomy), but the fabric quality is just a bit less. It lacks a bit of stretch and wears out a bit faster. But all in all Muscleskins is way better value for the money you spend.
It's a pity that USPS international shipping rates have gone up recently. This leads to a shipping charge of $16 for 4 suits bought from Muscleskins. Compared to Skinz, that is still cheap. When ordering 4 suits at Skinz, the shipping rates will be $35! That is about $6 extra on the price of a suit, which makes Skinz (in my opinion) a bit too expensive.

This notice will be removed when I am able to produce orders again. My apologies for the inconvenience.  Sincerely, Jupiter."

Does anyone own the ‘sport’ back version of the suit?  What about rio? How’s the rear coverage?
I have a suit with a half/rio back and would like something cheekier but not quite a thong.

Re:Muscleskins

Date Posted:06/21/2018 01:50:12Copy HTML

I own a Rio back suit, although I have not worn it in public due to it leaving nothing to the imagination, it was my first purchased suit through Muscleskins, so I requested specific measurements from then on for the front (way too much room, which can be custom adjusted).
It is a great design, as it leaves enough butt coverage to be sexy, but doesn't fit like a thong, so a no thong policy is not being violated.
The two suits I bought after that one were the full and athletic designs in the back. While comfortable, the low cut in the front requires pubic hair removal, and makes me look like a female.

I have several RIO back Muscleskins suits. They are like a super tiny bikini and can be worn as a bikini or if you move or walk around a lot, the bikini will ride into your ass some and become a tanga or even a thong. They are super sexy and I love the way they look and fit me.Bryan

Re:Muscleskins

Date Posted:07/07/2018 08:36:43Copy HTML

My new poser thongs have arrived today! I ordered four of them, all with 3/8" straps and a narrow pouch. Three have a -1cm pouch, one has standard pouch depth. I was curious about the difference between standard and -1cm so I also ordered one suit with a standard pouch. After trying them all on I must say there is almost no difference in pouch fit. Maybe they are all -1cm after all (?). According to the packing list one has really a standard pouch..
The colors I orderd were navy and royal blue, matte-red and matte-army. Both navy and royal I ordered before, so no surprises here. The matte-red is very, very bright; a real eye-catching color. I'm not sure I dare to wear it on the beach. The matte-army looks different as I expected. It's not as green as on the picture on Muscleskins' web-site, it is more like olive then army in fact..
All fabrics look and feel nice. The matte fabrics I like just a bit more then the shiny ones..
I noticed that the fit of the suits varies with the color. Maybe it has to do with the stretch of the fabric. The fit of the navy poser is absolutely perfect. The others colors are a bit more loose, a bit less a second skin feeling.I checked if there is any diffence in strap length or pouch cut and noticed that the center strap of the navy poser is about 1 cm shorter then the others. Never thought 1 cm can make such big difference in fit. Will have to wear the straps a bit higher on the hips to preventing the pouch from a littele gaping. Next time I will ask Jupiter to shorten the center strap a little.

I just received my order today. I got two 1/2" classic thongs, one in camo and one in neon yellow, and a 1" classic lean in army.
The workmanship on all of them is excellent. They all fit nicely.
Camo is my favorite at the moment, since a lot of other clothing that I own is camo print.
Now just need some decent weather to break these bad boys in.

Re:Muscleskins

I received my latest Muscleskins order a while ago. I allready made a small review earlier, but since my post was not converted to the new board I will give a short summary and some extra information. I ordered 4 Poser thongs with 3/8" straps, narrow front in navy, matte red, matte army and royal blue. After trying them on I noticed the fit was different then earlier ordered Poser thongs. At first I thought they were the wrong size, but the side-straps were exactly as long as the older ones. The difference was in the center strap. The length of the center strap on my older Posers (2014 and 2016) is 18,5 cm. The center strap on the new ones is 19,5 to 20cm. Which is quite a difference. I emailed Jupiter to ask what the 'normal' center strap lenght for a Poser in size L should be. He answered me that 18 cm is average for a size L. But he also told me that it is difficult to produce axactly this size, especially on a suit with 3/8" sides. The design of the 1/2" and 3/8" are exactly the same; the 3/8" is sewn to minimise the side straps which can lead to less accurate sizing according to Jupiter. The result of the longer center strap is that I have to wear the side straps higher on the hips to prevent to center strap from being too loose. When the center strap is too loose the pouch will not follow the body and there will be some gaping, which I don't like. Next time I will add a 'custom instruction' for a maximum lenght of the center strap.

Re:Muscleskins

Date Posted:12/12/2018 06:48:37Copy HTML

Since my last post I asked Jupiter if he could shorten the center straps on all 4 recently bought thongs. He emailed to me this isn't possible and not economical. It's a pity ..., and I made the decision to try to do it myself. I just cut the center strap somewhere in the middle and sewed both parts together again by hand using 1-1,5 cm overlap. It took me about half an hour to do this on the first suit. After I finished I tried on the altered suit and I must say the fit is a lot better now; no more gaping at the pouch. The side straps are sitting lower on the hips as well. I was happy with the result! In the mean time a modified 3 of 4 thongs and will do the 4th also. It would have been easier to order new ones, but I found it worth the try, and it would be a pity to throw away brand new thongs.
