Has anyone visited the porchester spa in Notting hill? It says clothing optional in some reviews!

You need to wear swimwear in the pool but the glorious Turkish baths part of the building is mostly (if not totally) nude.

Ok thanks for the info. I'll take it that the spa would allow thongs :)
I presume the pool wouldn't look kindly on thongs if it is a typical busy council pool..

Hi Mark
I used to swim in the pool at Porchester Spa, but it was many years ago. I did once wear a very brief string tanga there (made by InterSparta) - no problem - but I never wore an actual thong.(Now I live in South London & swim outdoors at Brockwell Lido)

I think a thong in the pool would be a bit out of place; and I think you'd be overdressed in the spa area - but there would be no objection from me!

@johnbar5251 I occasionally swim at Brockwell Lido, & I wear very brief swimwear there but not a thong.  I haven't seen anyone else wear a thong there, but you probably could.
