From Facebook today:

"So many people love you, don't focus on the people who don't."

In a smilar vain:

“Those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”

FDR's presidential advisor Bernard Baruch, about his dinner party seating arrangements.

Good avice for wearing thongs in public.

JM is there a reference to the author of this insight (especially if it is from a well-known person?) I have always believed in another statement of logic from Charles Kettering (inventor, educator, CEO of General Motors) "People see the wrongness of an idea much quicker than the rightness." Keep this in mind when someone puts you down for wearing minimal swimwear. The person many just need some positive personal experiences with thongers or logic they understand in order to move from one side to another. Still, there will always be those who have locked there mind in a way that they will never accept any other ideas.

"Not everybody is going to love you. Most people don't even love themselves."
