Re:Thailand - Thong friendly?

Hi there. Does anybody know if there’s any underwear or swimwear shops in Phuket? I’ve been once a long time ago but I didn’t get to see anything. I’m looking for brands like HOM swimwear and underwear. I know Bangkok has a huge selection but won’t be stopping by there this time. I’ll be staying in Patong. Thanks!

I was in Patong a few days October last year, did not see anything like that, fairly unlikely to find those brands I am guessing. But Patong is really shitty area, I prefer the southern part of Phuket, nice and quiet, empty beaches, no crowds.

QNH pretty much nailed it. Patong is a fleshpot. Period. If you're the perennial Spring-Breaker, you'll love it and the STD you come home with. The real beach experience is elsewhere. And likely nude, or at least thong-friendly. Bring your thong from home and save the time of a likely fruitless pursuit in traffic and car exhaust.

For Thailand I do it at hotels in Bangkok, so far so good.
