I have also thonged at a couple of the piers on the west side (forget which ones). I also took the train out to Riis beach once and thonged there. Plenty of company in minimal gear and topless at Riis.

I don't know how it stood up to H Sandy. Just a half mile south was the area where all the homes were destroyed by fire and storm surge. |
