It's a shame the cow writing the article is so closed minded - it's people exactly like her and their loud-mouth pushy opinions that keep thongs in the niche market. Speaking as if she is certain that the rest of the world will agree with her dumb-ass opinions - she's a perfect example of a stupid blow-hard that would complain if they saw a thong on anyone including women! I notice this on my local beach, not so much the high legged one piece with expensive looking detailing, like they had on the Miami runways, but a lot more bikinis that are thong backed or designed to be worn so high in the rear, well above the bottoms of the cheeks, that they are effectively thongs.

Would love to see the highcuts make a comeback in bikini/thong fashion (though I suspect we'll still have room for low-cut skimpy stuff too) :) As well as the original spirit of thonging when popular in the 80s and 90s; a fun-spirited, daring, and bold celebration of the body, with sexuality and self-expression being natural, healthy, and fun, and not taken too seriously :) At least that's how I see it. (contrast with the super-obsessive, power-over, elitist, controlling people in or influenced by the fashion industry in most of the 2000s; they have been slaves for too long; this "fashion" writer displays such narrow-minded attitude, which can flip from "must have thong and nothing else" to "no thongs allowed" in the space of a minute it seems...rant for another discussion though...)

This is why there are millions of young women and an increasing nunber of young men obsessed with their weight and achieving that unachievable look.
