This looks to be primarily a country music festival. If it were more a classic rock music festival, I would be “rocking” my thongs and g-strings all days of the festival. It looks to be a great time.

After previously replying to this thread, I realized something. After researching the Tortuga Music Festival, I see that it is indeed a country music festival. Even if I liked country music, which I don't, I don't think I would feel comfortable being the only person walking around wearing nothing but a thong. The same would be true for anything like the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. I just don't think the vibe would be conducive for wearing a thong. Now if there would be a rock music festival, like the original Woodstock in 1969, I would be all in.

Tortuga Music Festival is on Fort Lauderdale beach. You are right, mostly a country music, in a fenced in cattle pen. The people in the pen are on the sand but can't go swim in the sea. I see no good reason they have it on the beach, could just as well be on a football field. You can hear the music outside the fence. I can hear it from my house a mile a way. Unless you want to get close to the stage or drink overpriced beer you don't need to pay the high entry fee. If you want to wear a thong on the beach, with almost nobody around, then the lack of parking means that other than the people in the cattle pen, that part of the beach is just about empty. That weekend any locals or tourists wanting to go to the South half of the beach have to walk or bike, because the south beach parking lot is used as the venue and the next nearest is full of the people working the show or going to see the bands play. There will be lots of people wondering up and down the sidewalks, and many fine looking young women in bikini tops and unbuttoned denim shorts, but the closeness of the crowd inside the pen means few will have stripped of to their thong bottoms. I am sure the video was from the foot traffic outside the venue, so that man might have been going to the show or just passing on the street.

This was in Fort Lauderdale... so a guy in a thong is very common.

I'm going to say it and you can hate me or shame me... But those string bikini tops that look like they are up-side-down just look awful to me. :) Yeah, some women were flipping them around to wear upside down, but now swimsuit companies are making them that way. Having said that, I don't know the reason for it... but they look odd...
