Since Spain hasn't opened for tourists yet, it's clear that Spanish women see thongs as just another type of swimwear. You don't see that many thongs when the tourists arrive, although it's on the rise there too. Many speedos on the men in the video as well.

Only way it would be better if the one recording was wearing a thong to observe the reactions. Counted three gals in thongs two in strings other wearing shorts over her thong but not completely. Late in afternoon must of been more during the early afternoon. Noticed the guy in the middle of the beach standing next to the towel some amused to what they are seeing. That guy doesn't look all to bad in a thong. Beach is not that crowded so you can be easily get noticed standing up. Typical reaction from people noticing male in a thong regardless standing no less minding his business while others mock laughing what they are observing behind his back. No doubt that guy can sense if not overhear the laughter or sudden chatter discovering his thong backside. Yet if he was laying on his back no difference to the males in speedos nearby. This beach is way to close to the boardwalk prime for thieves to lurk waiting observing beach visitors leaving belonging behind to enter the water or go for waters edge stroll. Reminds me like the textile beach here at home only the boardwalk to the water is five times wider similar to Siesta Key in Florida. Best location for beach is privacy from street folks walking along. Having buffer between the roadway and beach is much better and safer to leave belonging behind. Enjoying beach water stroll. The spring break short video was sick vibe not at all thong conducive for male to wear. Overcrowded beach to many dork shorts and terrible bodies. The age group is like school was out early... Not fun vibe at all... |

In many of my beach thong visits females are often further away from the water while i'm closer. Hides the fact females are always looking at the water while i'm in front easier keep their eyes on me subtly.

He's compiled several in the linked one, but there are about 3 or 4 taken in Bournemouth on the south coast of England in the height of this summer 2021. He has lots of others in London and other places in the south of England, but for beach atmosphere, the Bournemouth ones are the best.
They confirm what many have said in various forums about the rise and acceptance of thong wearing in Britain this year. Sadly, there are still no men doing this. Mostly it's the teenagers and those in their 20s, but there are a couple of older women wearing near thongs just strolling along the seafront looking gorgeous and carefree and not getting any kind of hassle at all. There's some really beautiful women on this and some who have bodies that don't match the "ideal" but are still able to do this and that is what I think is most encouraging and attractive.
What I particularly love is that all ages and ethnicities are wearing minimal swimwear, walking around doing normal beach and promenade activities and even those who choose to cover more seem pretty unconcerned with all of the bodies on display.

Everywhere from Rio, Spain, DR, Mexico, heck, everywhere there seems to be some guy with a phone or GoPro walking the beach. He's fairly interested in the gals, and gives them a little extra screen time, but what I notice is, not a single guy anywhere in anything but huge board shorts! The one exception is Rio, where a few guys wear fairly huge speedo types, but not a bikini or thong anywhere. Read somewhere that if a guy wears a bikini or thong he's identified as a tourist, so they won't do it. So, the male thong phobia is now a global pandemic? The bulge fear is universal? And yet, 50% or more of the women are in cheekies or outright thongs. And some probably shouldn't be by some standards, but whatever. But not a g-string suit in sight either. So it's perfectly fine for an full-figure gal to thong away with impunity, but a trim and fit guy...nope? It's not a matter of double-standards, it's like the standards are totally bent. I only hope the beach walkers just avoid the guys, so they don't get represented well...but I don't think so. |

Only two videos i seen guys in thong while POV camera recording the beach walk. Can find it on anther post in the forum in Rio i believe male was on towel while group gals situated to watch him closely. Second video was Punta Cana resort another post on youtube bavaro resort i believe. Someone shooting from the pool deck above showing older couple together near the shoreline. Woman in full bottoms while male she was arm to arm in a g-string. Only seen them twice in the video later same position entering the shallow water. Your so right bulge fear is the main qualifier. Also the phobia being labeled unfairly wearing a thong. I watched some PUNTA Cana videos and vibe itself made me feel immediately uncomfortable wearing a thong on the beach, let alone walk along the shoreline. I couldn't see that i have comfortable time wearing a thong knowing people would shun me for wearing it. Either by just completely ignoring me or becoming difficult cold hearted just trying to be friendly with people. Double standards are always going to be that way woman whatever size or shape gets a pass male is being vilified vulgar someone to stay clear away. Their was time speedos on older gentlemen were the go to beachwear. Now the hip huggers square cuts are often attired by gay males. While only dork shorts are common for everyone else. If straight male like me even attempts to wear a thong on resort beach he is immediately oddity and negative connotations persist. I'm perv delight showing off my bulge which people perceive as being targeted upon them if i smile say hello or try to be friendly. Gay males who take delight have notion to befriend under rouse to get their lust desires satisfied because he is of course is one of them otherwise he wouldn't be flaunting himself so openly. Male in thong is a flasher and exhibitionist wants to be seen naked hanging his willy out for everyone to watch. Yet many persist male in thong is showing way to much for any gender to be comfortable to view. By all standards he is virtually naked in their eyes no covering in the backside and his willy is discernible for everyone to view leaving nothing to imagination. All an effect and purposes they believe its legal nudity which they don't want to be part of observing nor knowing someone with that mindset. Many believe vacation life is spoiled or life as they know it is over. Only because male has no sense or shame or modesty and big ego to have people watch his skinny ass. Rather the beauty of natural landscape. People are creeped out believing male in a thong maybe wanting transitioning to a female gender but is testing the waters with ladies swimwear first. After all that you get hotel staff after listening to endless complaints by guests one by one day and night to talk to the sole thonging male. Asking him if he can please wear more coverage using the pool area since some people have complained, please use the beach for your thronging endeavours. Otherwise hotel staff will male your stay uncomfortable as your thronging presence has for other guests. Soon as you abide to the beach only provision kicked away from the pool area. Beach lifeguards are hearing complaints of thonger and will begin a talk to you wear more on the beach or when in the water while on resort property. Again your pushed away from the resort area. Once you comply go to secluded beach area another resort unofficial beach area security guard will order you leave their area or show some ID belonging to the beach resort since your not a member your trespassing under arrest. Again pushed away you can do this everyday until you find the worst beach and water for miles around. Often busy with construction and workers passing through. Told that beach your at is unsafe and move back to resort area for your safety. By that time week has passed your vacation is over punished daily that you don't belong. You travel back on the plane knowing the people complained at the resort with thonging and are angry at your presence treated with disrespect. People telling stewardess that that male is trouble maker and should be watched closely. Soon the entire crew has vilified you out of peoples experiences of your thonging at the resort. In effect you been ostracized by no good reason. Only tales that you ruined peoples vacation wearing a thong. While in truth you respected abided by requests and was pushed away from the resort not seen for more then majority of the the time. Your thonging created memetic group think and cause effect you undue harm only for what your choices. Freedoms removed authoritarian bullying moving you from the pool to beach. Powers at be know they are pushing problem to one area to another yet same decisions are made by different groups, hotel staff, at the pool area from lifeguards, security officials on beach area. If this sounds sounds very familiar todays age. Remember just being two weeks. Then just wear a mask, distance yourself. get the jab, get third one, if you don't get one mine don't work, can't catch it or spread it with being jabbed, oh wait get third one will do the trick the other two didn't work. Now it's two years and counting and still pushing it like a junkie needing a fix. So to with male thonging the protest and negativity complaining will always be happening. The people have voted spoken don't want to view male in something woman can wear. So your choice in thongs is going to be hardship and uncomfortable journey as many government officialls are doing that to many people losing there livelihood and sense of being keeping people in fear and hostage only because your choices don't agree with the mass hysteria and learned behaviour. |

I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen one thong on a guy in all the beach walk videos in any country. The most you see are big speedos or square cuts on guys. Never a bikini though.
I went to the Dominican Republic and Mexico and still wore my thongs but quickly realized that if I didn’t want to worry about sticking out and to blend in I needed to have a bikini or speedo cover while walking around. It was totally acceptable but I was still in the minority. Maybe it’s just me, but I really thought on those kind of resort vacations, people would be carefree and relaxed and that means guys wearing more revealing swimwear. It just odd to believe guys want to wear a huge board shorts?
I believe it’s just gonna be that way for guys at popular beaches. You have to go to more of a secluded beach to comfortably wear thongs for the most part. |

I also have been watching lots of beach walk videos and am so disappointed to see in many places where Speedos are typically associated with, that those beaches are looking more and more Americanized by the day.
You'd think that at least the speedo would have a comeback, since all the girls are in thongs again - but for the men we seem to be slipping further and further into the dark ages. |
