I thought this might be fun to see. :)

It's just me and my wife in our apartment. Depending on temperature, here is the continuum for both of us:

Me
-Just underwear. Usually thong or bikini, occasionally I'll put on a swimsuit. This is when it's warmer.
-Underwear and a tank or t-shirt. This is more typical for fall/spring.
-Shirt and tights. Coldest part of the winter.

Her
-She only occasionally wears just panties, usually if we're lounging sedentarily and its warm. If she's up doing stuff, she usually adds a bra with the panties. This is a sports bra if she might be working out or a string bikini top otherwise.
-Her most common during fall/spring is just a cami or tank and panties. Only a bra if she is going to be working out some.
-Cold: Shirt + cardigan and tights.
Her panties tend to be thongs, bikinis, and some cheeky boyshorts.

I sleep naked and she usually sleeps in a thong (always panties).

Re:What do you (and others you live with) wear around the house?

I am male, and just wear a swimsuit, with only a 6mm side straps. I am lucky to live in the tropics (NE of Australia) and if I go in the sun (I am outside all the time) I add a straw hat, and if I go to the shops, I just put on a shirt. Why the bloody hell should I wear shorts when the beach is just opposite the road, and there is a pool in the complex where I live. I think I live in paradise. Actually in the capital city of Canberra, the local member is know as "the member for paradise"

Good fresh topic. We are similar to you. I wear thongs or g-strings as underwear 90% of the time. Wife probably 95% of the time. Most of the time we usually just wear a t-shirt and whatever undies we chose for the night. I usually take my shirt off when sleeping so it is usually just a thong for bed time. If kids have a friend sleep over we always put shorts on.

Might move up your way teeback269! I could really get used to living in swimwear permanently!

In summer months, as it is now, I'm down to a thong whenever possible. We have a backyard pool, so most afternoons after work I jump in to cool off in a thong, and that's how I stay until shower/bed time, and I always sleep naked. I'll often get around the house in a thong and a singlet top only.
When people are here, I usually put on shorts or a bikini bottom, depending who it is (some of my friends are used to seeing me in a thong nowadays).

It's all a case of the usual, depends on the situation.

I live alone.  In hot weather I'm usually nude in the house but sometimes will wear a g-string, thong or tiny bikini, sometimes when I'm doing light cleaning or other chores.  As it gets cooler I move to shorts, commando or thing underneath.  Next comes a T-shirt.  When it's cold I go with a hoodie and slim sweatpants.  What's underneath is usually a g-string or commando.

It's all about temperature. In the summer I'm nude unless I need to collect mail or do something else in the front yard. As it cools I'll start wearing a shortie tank top or t-shirt. If it's freezing weather I like a wool wrap around my torso. The house is never any warmer than 68 and the stone floors get too cold for barefoot, so I'll add a pair of canvas rope-soles to keep my feet warm. And sometimes I'll wear tights. But I really prefer to do without. And I keep something near the door if the door needs to be answered.

after work when i get home my wife is still at work.  so i will wear thong underwear or thong swimsuit.  i like the freedom of not having to wear shorts or pants.  i enjoy that freedom at the beach as well.

As the temperature varies in the northeast us, so does the wardrobe. This time of year it's usually tights and leggings. But as the weather warms up it goes from boy shorts to string bikinis to thongs/g-strings to nothing at all (my favorite)!

I live in Indiana where there can be temperature swings of 30 degrees from one day to the next.  This year, spring came early and it was great!  ...Until it decided that it would crawl back into bed for a while and we've gotten more snow this past week.
So I've gone from breaking out the shorts to mow the yard in to pulling the sweatpants and sweatshirt back on.  In the house, though, I always crank the heat up to 74 and lounge around in bikini underwear and a T-shirt if the kids are around.  When the kids aren't around (and sometimes when I just don't give a damn), it's a thong and a T-shirt.

Since I live in th Caribbean it's always hot here. Therefore I'm always in a thong. There are times I'll wear Lycra shorts, but most of the time just a thong.

I am a single man and I live on my own in Townville Australia where it is hot the whole year round, so I just wear a bikini with 6mm side straps all day and all year (well in winter I may wear a t-shirt); if I walk to the local shop I just put on a shirt, If I drive to town for shopping shirt and shorts. I cycle 15 minutes to the beach every morning for tai-chi and a swim, in summer just wearing my bikini, in winter with a t-shirt over it (well 18 deg C is cold!). Have been doing it for over 30 years now, locals know me and most of them smile and say hi (there are a few grumpy people who don't seem to approve, but I just ignore them).

It's very weather related. Where I am staying, the hottest the house gets in the winter is 63^F (outside temps seem to touch -20^F every year). The coolest the house gets in the summer is 75^F (outside temp can get to 100^F). So I go from wearing long johns with sweat pants, sweat shirts and wool socks in the winter, to being sky clad in the summer. I even wear a knit cap to sleep in when it gets really cold. Pretty much the same for my landlord although she also seems to have on more layers than I in the winter.

I do not wear any pants in the house whatsoever, and there is usually a bottle of baby oil handy ...

In the warmer weather, I generally parade around the house in a thong or micro g..sometimes with a tight cut-off tank top or compression top. and like matt 476 I oil-up to show off my shaved body. ( I am totally shaved). Winter time...hoody and tights.

My room mate never wears anything. She's looking over my shoulder right now to verify this. "Meow."

If I could I'd be naked 24/7/365 so a large percentage of ttimeof mine is nude. As for the misses; she has been nude on hot summer days, underwear mostly as she is rather well endowed and she says they're always in the way so a bra when doing chores. The rest of the time skimpy sleepwear except on the coldest days of winter then the flannels come out.

In the summer, square-cut boxer-briefs paired with a slim, broken-in t-shirt—hemmed to appropriate t-shirt length (T-shirts are so long on me!) Or topless. In cooler seasons, I might swap-in a merino baselayer. Or a henley. Come wintertime, it's a chunky, shawl-collar cardigan. Or a form-fitting onesie. Big fan of sweatpants with the cuffs, and drop-crotch sweatpants. I mostly shop the big clearance sales. Not much of a lifestyle nudist or thonger, though I enjoy both. Currently wearing a custom-fit, low-cut, triangle-back, black g-string with a very narrow, yellow waistband. My own design. It really pops.

At home, it's not very often that I wear just my thong.  If I'm alone at home, I'm nude or in a thong.  My wife doesn't wear thongs or like being nude.  When we travel, and it's just my wife and I, I wear mostly just thongs or I'm nude in the hotel room and she's in panties and a t-shirt.

Depends on who is home these days.  If just my wife and me, usually we are just in t-shirts.  Now that the kids are older, they aren't home often but when add just a little.  Wife will add panties, usually string bikinis and as for me - depends.  If son is home (older and LOTS more conservative) I will wear boxer briefs or trunks as he wears boxers and no shirt.  If daughter is home (more of a "free spirit"), I will wear anything as little' as my Joe Boxer thongs and she wears either thongs, panties with a ruched butt or has been known to go sans panties with a longer t-shirt as she hates underwear.  Guess she got that honest from me!  :)   Both kids have seen wife and I in thongs around the house lots but as they have gotten older we've tried to respect their views since they have changed over time.

at my place in spring and summer, i usually wear thong or rio back bathing suits for out in the yard or the beach during the day and at night, thong undies and a tshit. a year ago i got back with my childhood sweetheart, she didn't know i wear thongs, i told her and she said its sexy as hell to have a hot man wear a thong. i can't wait to take her to the beach or a pool party at my house.

If it’s just me and my wife we wear just thongs and she usually goes topless. While both our kids wear thong underwear and swimsuits, we will wear our thongs if we are in our pool or at the beach. If they have friends over we tone it down. We both work from home and being in just a thong is really comfortable and it’s just what we wear.

She - just nothing, always in the nude until it's time to go out, then just a dress I - a g-string or a bikini, I just don't like that penis flapping around.

Update: Could be anything from nothing to long johns with sweats. I was staying at four places last year, this coming year I'm down to staying at two places. At one place I was staying last year we did not have heat until mid December, it was 48^F in my bedroom. Mom's house is at 71^F in January. So for me, there is no normal way of dressing, However I don't run around nude at my Mom's. She told me I can be naked in the bedroom, even sleep naked, but don't run around the house naked. It's very weird moving back in with my Mom at my age of 60. But she needs the help and I like the rent so it's seems almost serendipitous. Others are always clothed; tshirts and knickers for the lasses. Or more clothes if the temperature is too cold. Mom is in a t shirt and pajamas or street clothes
