So my gf and I are trying to figure out a 5 day trip next month. We've narrowed it down to 3 destinations. Maui, playa del carmen, and puerto vallarta. With points, maui is the most economical surprisingly however playa del carmen is really appealing to me. We've been to Maui and PV before and we've been to cozumel also. Even though pdc is on mainland mexico, if we went there we would probably do a snorkeling excursion in cozumel. We would fly into cancun and shuttle or get a rental car down to pick. Where would you guys select?

Thank you for that feedback. I watched a PDC beach walk video on YouTube and it looks like a typical tourist destination in which most females were comfortably thonging and the males wore all different length trunks. Ill definitely be comfortable thonging there!

Go with Puerto Vallarta in the Romantic Zone. You wont be the only male in a thong and your gf wont be the only female!

We booked PDC on account that the overall beach experience was better in our opinion. We enjoyed the snorkeling in cozumel which is a 30 min ferry ride. Although we enjoyed Puerto Vallarta? The water was on the murky side. As far as thonging goes, I'm typically the only guy and I'm good with that. PDC does have many European tourists so I'm sure I'll see speedos. Every recent beach walk video I've seen, at least 40% of women are in thongs so I'm good with that. I'm taking brown, red, orange, pink, always black. I'll only have 3 full days there so I'll only need 3 suits however we're snorkeling on cozumel on Saturday so i may change suits when we get back to PDC on the event it gets stretched out or worn out from the swim. On Monday before our flight we may enjoy a beach club for the day.
