I know a number of women who wear thong underwear yet do not (to my knowledge) wear thong swimsuits. I am lucky in that my wife wears both, thong (actually g-string) underwear daily and thong/g-strings bathing suits when we are on vacation.  Alot of people have talked about their partners preferences, but i am not aware that they have ever been discussed in the same place....so i am starting this thread.  The question is:

What style underwear does your significant other (normally) wear and what kind of swimsuit does she/he (Normally) wear.  The options are as follows:

A) Regular underwear and non-thong swimsuit
B) Thong underwear and non-thong swimsuit
C) Regular underwear and thong swimsuit
D) Thong underwear and thong swimsuit
E) No underwear and non-thong swimsuit
F) No underwear and thong swimsuit

Recognizing that there may be instances where a women may occasionally wear a thong, like with a certain type of clothing, or on the weekends for dates, etc.  Lets define normal as the style of underwear she wears most days during the week.

Based on the above, my answer would be "D".  I am going to guess that the most common answer will be either "A" or "B" and the least common answer will be "C"

Interesting survey for the oddities it may uncover.  I was a 'C' myself for many years, probably because thong swimwear was delicious away from home, where I was unknown, but relatives, friends and colleagues would know about thong underwear because of my homelife and health club membership.  I'm now a 'D', proudly, and nobody cares, to my knowledge.  All that fretting about nothing.

As to significant other, how about a 'G' category:  Regular underwear and owns no swimsuits?  Must avoid the sun, hasn't swam in years, thus has no need of a swimsuit.  Not even shorts!  But we look great together wherever we go, regardless of how much I've got on.  Life is good in interesting ways.

Currently she is an A.
But she becomes a C whenever we go to Sunnyside beach (nudist beach).

I dont know how to do the "poll" function, but it would be fun to see the results of this survey on a pie chart.  Does anyone know how to do that?

For my wife, the answer would be D but I must say she probably wears thong and regular back panties about 60-40. At the beach and on vacation, she wear thongs but at our neighborhood pool, she wear a regualr bottom bikini because thongs are banned :(

I can answer truthfully, that my wife usually wears "F". No underwear and thong swimsuit.

When going out, whether to work in her business suit or going out in a miniskirt, she wears no underwear at all, except if she's having her period, or if she's wearing jeans or slacks.

On the beach, she wears Wicked Weasel. If we're out with our friends (who tend to be conservative), she will wear a red or dark opaque Wicked Weasel suit. If we're going out alone or on holiday, she enjoys wearing the more risqué suits.

I wish my wife were an "F", or at least a "C" or "D", but in reality she is an "A".  I am a "C" anywhere I can, but end up an "A" all too often.  (But at least I'm an "A" in a small bikini; I don't own any board shorts.  And my wife also wears a bikini, which is good for nearly age 50, so life could be worse.)

Personally, i could probably handle a wife who did not wear thong swimsuits ( It would not be my preference, but i could deal).  I could not be with a women who did not wear thong underwear.  No way could i come home everyday to big, butt covering panties. Sorry...i know it sounds harsh...but i am just telling the truth.  I have known my wife for 10 years, and i have never seen her butt covered with underwear.

My wife is a B and I am a C (although I wear string bikini underwear). She does wear a thong one piece or mico bottom  when we go to the nude beach. Sometimes she just wears bodypaint (I use Liquid Laytex to paint creative bathing suits on her). It's sexier than being nude!

My finance is B, I wish she would be a D, but she don't like the thought of being in a thong in front of a bunch of people.

I am a D when I can be. I am more a B, just in the fact there are not to many places around where I live that can where a thong swimwear. I own only thong underwear.

My wife wears regular underwear and a non-thong swimsuit if she wears one, but when possible, she swims without wearing anything.  Same thing with me, though I wear thongs as outerwear when I'm hanging around with her.

I think most women are a B at least somettime.  I dont know of any women who only owns thong swimwear and has nothing else.  Even though my wife is primarily a thong gal (g-string specifically) she still has 2 or 3 bikinis for those times when it is just not appropriate to wear a thong.  And...in spite of what everybody might think..there are those times.  I will give an example, the country club where we live has a published policy "No thong swimsuits".  I guess we could make a civil cast out of it and challange it in court, but the practical matter is , we just want to relax and let our kids enjoy the pool.  She wears a bikini, I wear swim trunks and everything goes on as normal.  Nobody needs to know that when we go to the shore by ourselves that she is topless in a wicked weasel g-string and I am wearing a muscleskins thong.

I've finally convinced her (it took five years) to be a G)--no underwear and no swimsuit.  She loves it!  It's much healthier as it totally eliminates  the infections that many women get because air can't circulate in the appropriate place.  Underwear was only invented in the last 130 years or so and causes women more problems than any other garment except heels.

My wife has been wearing g-string underwear for eight years and now wears them about 75% of the time , the remainder she wears nothing under what ever she has on and where ever she goes. As for swimwear: Wicked Weasel g-strings or thongs on the beach/holidays, mesh "cheeky" bottoms if swimming in a conservative hotel pool and rio cut bottoms most elsewhere.YES I consider myself a very lucky and happy guy.

My GF is an "A" most of the time, but wears thong underwear & thong swimwear on occasion. Hoping to get her to "C" status during the week & "D" status on the weekends!

For a long time, I was an "A/B"(wear regular bikini swimwear) - but now I'm definitely a "B/D" as I almost always wear thong underwear now. By next year, I would like to be in full "D" territory!

However, we're nudists, so there's lots of times where we don't wear anything to the beach or pool - but there will always be room for thongs! :-)

My GF wouldn't try on anything but a conservative one piece even though she has a nice curvy body and I tried to encourage her.  Some girls just are too shy and that is fine.  She has a few thong underwear however.

None of the above:  wife wears regular underwear and no swimsuits (no, not nude -- she never dons a swimsuit and never swims because of body image issues and the need to avoid the sun for health reasons -- but occasionally joins me on the beach fully clothed and under an umbrella while I'm thonging in the sun and water).  I love having her along because it suggests to the world I'm not weird, just more bold and daring than most.

My wife is an (H) G-string underwear and no swimwear.
I am also an (H) most of the time but do occasionally wear a G-string if in public

My wife would rather not go to a beach if she has to wear a swimsuit to tan, she prefers no tan lines

My  husband and I are both  B D E F and sometimes nude all the time.  It depends on where we are and what we are doing and what we are wearing or not wearing.  But never will we wear so called regular underwear or anything conservative.  Guys stare at my husband giving him a gay look.  But thats ok  we dont care.  WE have alot of friends that we are getting them to do the same.  Todays world are too conservative in dress code.  Dont give me wrong I wear a lot of dresses for work but i dress sexy underneath and so does my husband under his uniform.  We both luv tan lines and nudity.

Like most folks, it depends on where we are as far as swimsuits go.
I would say that my wife is generally a C or D.  If we are on vacation with our family (ie her parents or mine, we have no kids) then she'll be an A or B

not really starkist. Some women dont like wearing thong underwear....they find it uncomfortable on a daily basis.  A women may opt to wear a thong swimsuit in order to be sexy for a mate or to be provocative on the beach.  I agree it would not be common...but it could happen
