I think the network suits and lawyers at CBS are being pro active in warning the artists. not to cause any backlash from the FCC. The network and the stations would be the ones on the hook to pay any sort of indecency fines for exposure of body parts that the viewer might find objectionable. Janet Jackson and her Super Bowl warobe malfunction had everyone in tizzy.

Seriously folks, do you not know the nature of the US and British media by now? They operate under a pretense of 1950's clothing and sexual morality, despite the fact we live in a world where X-rated matieral can be freely downloaded. They try to scandalize an exposed nipple or part of a thong showing, when anyone can download all the hardcore porn they want off google images for free. The media lives in a fantasy world and seek to promote a fantasy scandal. Are we supposed to be shocked by Lady Gaga's thong under 3 layers of pantyhose or Janet Jacksons 0.01 seconds of breast exposure? Why does anyone pay attention to these idiots anymore?

Many gave the illusion of no underwear because of bare waists. I believe some were wearing adhesive modesty patches of C strings. Then on close inspection some of the side ass was an illusion.
