I recently ordered a very brief swim bikini from iswim.com.tw - a mail-order shop in Taiwan.  They do underwear & swimwear thongs for men (and bikinis with very brief backs), mostly also very low-cut in the Japanese style. You can order the swimwear lined or unlined. The  site is not in English, but if you email them, they reply in English & will help you with any questions. The suits are all photographed on a real model so you can see how they look. Prices are on the high side, but the styles are unusual enough to be worth a punt. The suit I have is a medium, but feels like a small or extra-small in US sizing. I like it, wore it on the beach in Cornwall.Phil

Try this for the website in English

Lots of speedo bikinis in colors that never did in Europe. Pity, they don't introduce them here, it would put the bikini style back on the map

Having recently had my attention brought to 'iswim.com' products, thanks to 'bmicro' via another thread on this board, I thought it about time I brought this thread back to life 😀

'bmicro' has been extremely helpful with the information he has given, (thank you again) and after a little further research into fabric choices I feel comfortable ordering my 13u378 & 13u377 one-sided suits we discussed.

However, what I am looking for, before I place my order, is any information any of you guys can give me on their slingshot style of suits or any others of interest for that matter!

Look forward to hearing from you, many thanks

Regards Paul

Have had a long look around their website, and am very impressed. Lots of styles for a low-rise fan like myself. Their tights look like something I would definitely want, too. What's the shipping time to the USA?

I noticed that when I tried to use Google translate from Firefox, it really butchered the layout of the page, but when I tried the built-in translator in Chrome, it worked a champ.

Re:iSwim (Taiwan)

I received my order from iSwim today, and they are very nice. Let me start by saying i usually take a 34 inch waist and a 31 inch inseam. I got two pairs of tights, one like this: (13U401)
http://www.iswim.com.tw/goods.php?id=1634
and one like this: (13U404)
http://www.iswim.com.tw/goods.php?id=1637

Both of these end at mid-calf. I got size "L"and they fit fine on my waist. The 13U401s I got in the purple "X-static" fabric. This has a half-seamed pouch that is extremely comfortable and not too overt. I can see wearing this to the gym without any issues.

The 13U404 I got in light sparkly grey. This has the "Nudist" pouch, which is a bit "In your face". I doubt I'll be wearing these to the gym. Actually, I'm not sure just wear I would wear them, but they sure are fun.

Finally, I got a swimsuit, (15S393)
http://www.iswim.com.tw/goods.php?id=1833
in a striped pattern, with a SB7120 style rear, size XL. As a low-rise fan, I am blown away by this one. The waist is a little snug, without being tight.I am so bummed that beach season is over four months away here in Chicago. Maybe I can swing a vacation before then.

The ordering process was very smooth, once I realized that even though there was only one option for shipping, I had to expressly select it. The shipping tracking worked great; better than several I've seen from Europe. Took about three weeks to be delivered. including being hung up in US customs over the New Year's holiday.

All in all, a very positive shopping experience.

I was just making order from iSwim, and it looks like they are making some changes. I was going to get two baggies, one in swimwear fabric, and one in "underwear" fabric, but the latter was "Sold Out". A Google translation of a customer service gives the impression that sold out = discontinued.  There are also several new items that are photographed against a white background, instead of worn by the model the rest are.

This is the translation of the notice I referred to:

iSwim is designed for men within the Asian body type development and design of the brand, in addition to department stores and distribution base, sales network in a semi-custom-made based. In order to provide you with a better wearing experience, starting in April 2017, "new and improved" will provide only specific fabrics and colors.

The new improved version
Note: old customers Ruoyi have specific preferences of fabrics, colors can also choose other materials (Zhuojia fee income, internet orders only), please order notes "Item, fabric material and color code "but we will assess the suitability of the site. The new improved version will be gradually adding other suitable fabric and color, but the fabric used will no longer provide other old styles of custom, will also gradually replace the old style and sale. I just got a suiit with butt coverage by accident.. I ordered one of these from iSwim, https://iswim.tw/goods.php?id=1749, and meant to get a thong back. My mouse must have slipped when selecting the rear style, though, and ordered the first one on the list, the full seat. Doesn't look bad, though, and it's still super low and anatomical. I actually have the swimwear fabric version of this with a thong back, but I'm thinking now it would look better with a low rio back.

How does the sizing run with Iswim?

How can you view the prices in dollars?

Any recommendations on fabric, cut, etc? I'm interested in thongs and rio bikinis with 1/4 - 1/2 rear coverage not too low-rise.

The swimsuits are very good quality. However, they are made for asian men. They don't have enough room for my bulge. I was very disapointed because the back of the swimsuits are very interesting.

What size do you typically wear, stringuer?

What would a large iSwim compare to in an American size?

Re:iSwim (Taiwan)

Date Posted:12/10/2018 05:18:47Copy HTML

Most of the swimwear has equivalents as underwear. The swimwear seem to run a lot smaller, and the swim fabric has a more "assertive" stretch, whereas some of the underwear fabric is a more "gentle" stretch. The underwear also has a greater variety of fabric, and some, like the mesh, are indicated to be less stretchy.. Some of the newer stylesare only offered in one kind of fabric, but you can get them in one of the other fabrics for an additional price. If you open a page for one of the older underwear styles, and select some fabric that is not the first one in the list, you get a pop-up where you can page through the different fabrics. Some that I've had good results with:

  • The semi-sheer with the rosette knit. Not see-through, but clings to shape closely

  • The thin solid colors that end in 'A' or 'B'. Opaque with comfortable stretch. would be grat fo the beach

  • The prints. I've gotten the Blue Jean; nice stretch and comforable

I normally wear an American medium. So far, the iSwim stuff I've gotten in XL has workd out best. Some things I have in the same size and style in both underwear and swimwear, and the uderwear fits a lot more comfortably, Some underwear I've gotten in size L fits acceptably, but I will go with XL only in the future.. I use a currency converter app on my phone to get the prices in dollars.

Looks like changes are coming to iSwim. When I logged in, there was a message that said, in part, "Year 2019 will be based on improved version of the new products, most of older items will be discontinued, and just keep a few semi-custom items for VIP members only." Luckily, I am a VIP member, but I wonder, how few is "a few"? Also, the range of available fabrics looks like it will be significantly reduced. Several of the back styles are gone, too.

Re:iSwim (Taiwan)

I got my latest order from iSwim today, just in time for while there's still some beach season left.

As usual, the pouches on these are quite snug. I got the three suits I ordered in size L; they fit good around the waist, but maybe an XL would fit better  in the pouch? At any rate, all three are tiny. Here's the run down:

First is the 19u5013-G1 "Show root bulge string". This is similar to the Tangaland  "Ouvert", except not adjustable. This required a lot of tucking in to get it to be "presentable", because the pouch is so snug, but once everything is put in place it looks nice and sleek. You could probably wear it a little differently than in the picture, too

Next up is the 19u4024-M1 "Glitter pouch 3mm double loops thong", which is a quality V-back, something I've been looking for. This one I think I would have been better with an XL, but the L will be fine. It rides quite a bit lower than in the picture. I particularly like the elastic: they say it's a "special commission" (the suit looks to be a limited edition), but I hopt they can continue to use it in the future.

Finally is the  19u3022-Y1 "Extreme magic bulge string Y-back thong". This is really something. The front is as small as some of those "tiny flat triangle" suits that several makers offer, but it has an anatomical fitted pouch. It rides a LOT lower than in the picture. Requires a little tucking in, but not too much. I am REALLY looking forward to wearing this one to the beach next week!

Hi J_R_365, I discovered iswim last week. They have really nice stuff I have to say. I like their nudist bulge string thong (U3008) and the magic bulge string thong (U3023 and U3009). Can you tell me more about the sizing? When I order from Muscleskins I always order size L for my Poser thongs, which fit me really well. Will a size L from iswim be comparable with Muscleskins L? Is the volume of the iswim pouches big enough for a average american/european guy?
J_R_365 #22

Re:iSwim (Taiwan)

Date Posted:11/25/2019 06:52:57Copy HTML

For sizing, I find it depends on the particular item, mainly if it's an older or newer style. They seem to be rapidly phasing out their older styles, which can be had in a fairly wide selection of fabrics. I'm not sure if it's the design or the fabric, but I find an L is fine. With the newer designs, I have decided to start going with XL. Most of the newer designs I have purchased have been pouch styles, and their pouches are definitely small (and I'm not a "big" guy). You mention the U3009; I got a couple of those, in the same order as a U3001, which isn't listed, but does come up if you search for "U3001" (looks like they may be discontinuing it). They are almost the same cut, but the 3009 has a smaller pouch. I wear the 3001 frequently, the 3009 almost never. I'm really disappointed that they have been phasing out their older styles. They used to have a wide selection of rear styles, lots of them have been discontinued (search for "g-string"). Many styles they had in both swim and underwear versions are now only in swim. I liked the underwear versions for the beach because of the thinner fabrics.

Hi J_R, Thanks for your information so far. May I ask what size of jeans you wear. I wear 31" and 87 cm waist. I am in doubt about the sizing of iSwim. Their size chart says 31" is an M in underwear and 87cm waist is L in the underwear table. Do you have any suits in the wet-blck or wet-nvy fabric?

Re:iSwim (Taiwan)

Date Posted:11/27/2019 04:48:56Copy HTML

Navy — It depends on the brand, but usually I wear a size 34 jeans. I do not have any in wet look fabric. As I said, the older styles seem to maybe run a little larger, or maybe just stretchier fabric. I generally prefer a pouch that is quite anatomical, but still with a relaxed fit. I've had good luck with their "Nudist" styles (mostly), but less so with some of the other bulge/pouch styles. I mentioned the 3009 vs the 3001. Another example from a recent order: I got a 3022 in an L, which I can wear just fine, although I just ordered another in an XL. It rides extremely low, and while it is a little snug, it's quite comfortable. In the same order, I got a 5013, also in an L, which I can't wear at all — not because of the waist, but the pouch. Even when I can get everything into it, things pop out. I've had the same trouble with their baggies.

My first iSwim thong a 20U2023-Y1 in L and wetlook black has arrived. Now that's a minimal thong! The pouch is only just big enough. It takes some time putting it on.... The size L is OK, but maybe XL was a better choice. Next time I'll try XL. The fabric and stiching is very good. Fabric is nice stretchy. The stitching looks perfect. Have to wait a while before I can wear it to the beach.

hi Navythong - I just bought a similar thong from iSwim - the 20u3023-T1 ("magic bulge") - I went for medium, and it's a very snug (minimal) fit - nice material, olive colour with a slight sheen. I like the tag on the front of the pouch too, looks sort of sporty.

Re:iSwim (Taiwan)

Date Posted:02/23/2020 01:17:18Copy HTML

hi, maozer. Yes these suits are very minimal fit, which I like. In the meantime I ordered the 20u3023-Y0. The Y0 is a bit (2 cm) higher in the back, which gives more comfort (in my opinion). At first I thought ordering size XL instead of L would also mean a longer center strap. After asking iSwim if a Y0 back is available on this suit, they responded that Y0 is possible. So I went for size L and Y0 back. This suits fits like a glove. I ordered the wet-navy this time. Nice fabric, almost black. The wet fabrics are rather thin, but not see through even when wet. The black and navy have the same stretch. Next time I order I think I order the wet-olive; I like that color too. I also like the tag on the poch too. Have fun wearing your iSwim magic-bulge thong!

hi Navythong

so you are going for more iSwim thongs!  Interesting what you say about the rise at the back - I think that is dependent on one's particular physique - the thong I bought is an ok fit at the back, but certainly low. I've previously bought bikinis from iSwim, and the back was cut so low that it slips down under my buttocks - but that's not a problem with the thong I bought.

I look forward to wearing my olive thong when we go for a beach holiday in Wales this summer...

I like the fit of the 20u3023 thongs. The -Y1 back fits me, but the center strap is stretched more then comfortable. That´s why I tried the -Y0. The -Y0 is more comfortable to wear. I have never worn an iSwim suit to the beach; I can´t wait..... Will sure buy more iSims suits. The stitching is high quality. The fabric itself looks and feels nice; can´t say anything on durability. Will keep you informed!

Last week I ordered two more iSwim thongs: a mini nudist bulge string y-back thong in navy and a nudist g3 Y-back thong in wet-look black. The wet-look fabric is the same as my bulge strings are made of. The nudist bulge string is I ordered in 'CMA-fabric'. CMA is said to be a bit strechier. Since two weeks is a normal shipping time from Taiwan to Europe I expect my thongs this week. We are having a hot summer weather these days, so maybe I can wear my new thongs to the beach right away. Will keep you informed!

Ordered twice from iSwim this year. 5 suits in total: 4 thongs and one bulge bikini. 17U1007-Y0, a bulge thong in WET-BLK, comfortable all day wearing thong, 15mm straps 19U3021-Y0, a bulge thong in BNX-GPL (see through fabric) and 8mm straps. Very minimal suit. The bulge is between an Muscleskins poser and torpedo. Need a c-ring when wearing this one. 19U1026-B0, a bulge bikini with a brazilian back in WET-BLK. The pouch fits very snug. Very comfortable. 19U1026-Y0, a bulge thong with 15mm straps in both WET-BLK and WET-RBL (royal blue). Snug pouch, little wider in the front then the 8mm styles. Very happy I discoverd this web-shop.

Looking at their website I see they have a few new styles, some very interesting. They have more than ever ball baring styles. They have a one piece glory hole suit. Their 4 D suits are modelled with ring showing! I love the pouch /baggie style I have - I think it's called pouch balls, with the window on each side.

Ordered some new iSwim suits recently: a s3001 thong and a s3005 thong. The s3001 (https://iswim.com.tw/goods.php?id=2433&lang=en) in black The s3005 (https://iswim.com.tw/goods.php?id=2325&lang=en) in royal blue The suits have allready arrived in the Netherlands. It took only 4 or 5 days from dispatch in Taiwan. Unfortunately the package is at the customs office. I had to pay about $18 tax and handling before they send it to my mailbox. $9 per suit is not that bad. Can't wait for my new suits.

Re:iSwim (Taiwan)

iSwim Suits have arrived! I will give a brief review.

s3001-Y0: Suit comparable to a Muscleskins poser. Strings are about 8mm, so minimal tanlines. Little tiangle in the back (smaller then the poser's). I ordered size L, because I used to when ordering their underwear. For swimwear XL would have been better, but L still fits for my 30" waist. The swimwear elastic is thicker and less stretchy then the underwear elastic. Fabric looks like the same as used by Muscleskins or Skinzwear. About the same stretch. Workmanship is very good. Center strap is also 8mm, and is on the short side. So the little triangle 'dips' a little bit. I like it that way. I like narrow center straps, because wider straps tend to fold together which doesn't feel comfortable. Pouch is just the right size for me and I'm average in size.

s3005-Y0: Suit is in between Muscleskins poser and torpedo. Same tiny triangle as s3001and also 8mm straps. s3001 is more comfortable to wear all day; s3005 is a bit tighter. The s3005 is more sexy, I even got a little aroused when trying it on.
