 Not a thong alas but I luv my AB classic 2.5 in chilli red - feel really sexy wearing it when swimming.  Truly one of the best!

Aussiebum currently have a half price sale on 1.5 and 2.5 Classics in a limited number of colours, as well as a few other styles. The 1.5s are probably the briefest of quality traditional Speedo type full back briefs. $A15 (about $US12) with free shipping anywhere. www.aussiebum.com

Oops, just noticed when checking the address that the sale ends in 2.5 hours. Sorry.

@JohnHoward
I thought it would be better to post here instead of the UK swimming pool thread. The Aussiebum tights are more like leggings than the performance oriented styles by Skins or 2XU. The best comparison is Under Armour's Heat Gear type lycra. Thin enough to not constrict movement but the weave isn't dense enough to offer any serious compression.
My nurse friend is a yoga fiend and was desperate to get her significant other into yoga she thought the tights looked really cool (and I agree!), so she got him two about two weeks ago. From what I have seen they're nice and decent value but they are not really performance oriented. I would say they are like the male version of the funky Black Milk leggings that I have.
Hope this helps JH.

 @bbyrne78,that was exactly what I was thinking,  judging for the price and the fact that they are called 'leggings',  they are not misleading and yeah, definitely not compression garments.   But anyway they look good, I might buy a pair to try and look a bit cooler at the gym....   reckon they would not last as long as my Skins,  some of them are 8+ years and still going!..... thanks Bren

Interesting, they've been around so long and popular with the LGBT crowd, i'm surprised it's taken this long for them to release a thong (although I never saw the one in the above post from 2021). Quite a conservative cut for a thong but it's a step in the right direction for male thong acceptance.

Anyone tried their swim thong? I wonder how it fits in the front, because it looks rather loose. It has a drawstring though, and is conservative enough for doing laps I think.

It's an odd fit. The front profile is trying to be like their smaller sided traditional brief, but it doesn't suit a thong rear in my opinion. The material is quite light and comfortable. I would go a size down. You can get them cheap with their sale on now, so try one for yourself. As for a thong for lap swimming, the Desmiit is still much better.

SKU do a conservative thong. Looks way better than aussiebum and thinner material than Desmiit. Found it on Inderwear in France and it may be their own label. They also have a modest brief that fits well too. I got both in navy which helps if you are not looking to draw too much attention. https://www.inderwear.com/en/99_sku

Aussiebum have sold out all of their thong swimwear. I emailed them, and they stated there are no plans to release any new swim thongs.
