I have been thonging on Amager Strand in Copenhagen. Has never seen another thong'er though. But I will try to get out there more next summer.

I have been to Denmark 3 times and it is a lovely country. I love their attitude towards nudity - it is acceptable in some public places as long as people do not misbehave therefore there are only 2  beaches in Denmark where you are not allowed to sunbathe and swim nude. On each of the occasions we went I was able to wear a thong and sometimes be completely naked on various beaches, whilst walking in the forest and, on a coupleof occasions, when sunbathing in the local park.  

 Nudeandhappy, really cool to hear your positive experiences with thonging in Denmark. I live here and really don't see that many male thongers (read: none). I will be thonging this summer on the beach, so it's good to know that you haven't experienced any problems.

just returned from copehagen and wore a gstring on amsinger strand, or something called something like that.  no problems.  lots of speedos but no other thongs or strings on guys.  lots of women with strings and thongs.  as far as i could tell, no one noticed me or gave  a damn.

During the last couple of days I have been thonging at Copenhagen's Amager beach. Been wearing my blue JS thong. It's been great! No comments beside a couple in their late twenties who walked past me while the guy said "weird wearing a g-string" and his girlfriend (I assume) answered "If you show up in one I'll be gone". Well, what can you do? Haven't had any other comments.
I arrived relatively early in the morning so as the beach got more crowded a young girl and young couple placed themselves close to me. That was great feeling that my thong did not scare them away - but that they actually placed themselves close to me. Cool. 
Went in the water twice without problems. Feels great and is working on my tan. So I can only recommend others to visit Copenhagen for thonging.

I went to Amager beach today at 16:30 and were there for two hours. Fifth time at Amager this year, but first time daring to wear a thong this summer. It was a bit windy but finally I found a spot with shelter in the dunes. It was OK. A group of 5-6 guys closer to the sea moved to the dunes to find shelter. They placed themselves 6-7 meters away. I think they were from Pakistan or something. I was a bit nervous when turning my back up, but no problem. But then again I did not understand anything of what they said.
I also were there some days ago and actually saw an other man wearing a thong (approx 50 years) and his wife. I only spotted two girls in thongs, unfortunately.

I were at Amager wearing a thong twice last year, which was great. First time I sat down right across (5 meter) a girl (approx 25 y) in a thong and later on a couple (boy and girl, 20-30 y) placed themselves 3 meters away from me. No bad comments at all. They were quite nice, talked to me and asked me to watch their belonging when they went for a swim.
Second time I layed out next to the dunes and spotted a girl wearing a thong in the water. She was alone. When coming out of the water she walked straight to the my spot as if she looked for a spot somewhere around me. But then she saw a spot 20 meters away and went for that. What a shame; she looked really good topless and wearing her thong.

Has anyone been out on Amager Strandpark this year besides me? During the last couple of weeks of good weather I have been out there 5 or 6 times. Very few thongs on Amager Strandpark this year, even fewer than last year, maybe one man and two women.
Today I was up by Liseleje / Tisvilde / Asserbo. Went for a swim twice and spend the evening at the beach reading a book. Very relaxed beach with some families, couples and some singles, more nudes when you go further away from the parking lot.

Yes, these years thongs are scarce on the Danish beaches, also. I did thong at the Amager Strand, when I lived at Amager, almost 30 years ago. Now I live in Esbjerg in Jutland and therefore I'm more often to be found on a beach at the North Sea. Mostly on Børsmose Strand, between Vejers and Henne. I still thong.
