Alright, I finally worked up the nerve to go get some of the one's target sells. They were on sale for like $7 for 4 of 'em... The girl ringing me up gave me a little chuckle, but that was when she asked how I was doing, and I replied with the standard "fine, how are you?" Right about then, she scanned the pack of thongs. Don't know if she noticed it or not.I wore one of them to Tae Kwon Do practice, and liked it quite a bit. Defenitely much cooler- should be good for work, too(I work at a restaraunt, gets damn hot around the kitchen). I'm going to order some from Body Aware when I get my tax money back. I'm not really a big fan of them being thick cotton, so I'll have to get some sheer microfiber ones. It's amazing, though, Target and KMart are the only 2 stores around here that sell men's thongs- no other department store does. Haven't checked express, though- they probably do.Anybody have any from Body Aware?

Buying my first thong was quite the experience! I was 18 and decided I wanted to change my underwear style, I was sick of underwear that didn't suit my body like the very popular baggy boxers. I tried many different styles but was not satisfied I found the right one.

I grew up around girls my whole life and they were begging to get into the thong scene. I was frustrated guys never wore them and thought I would be a little more daring and try to find a thong in my home town. I searched all the big department stores and could not find anything, I tried small specialty shops and couldn't find anything. When my family decided to vacation in Florida I was determined to find a mens thong down there.

After breaking away from my family in a large shopping complex in southern Florida, I made my way to Dillards and found the mens underwear section. I started looking frantically through the racks in search of any thing resembling a thong....I eventually found the Murano rack and found quite a few styles. I set eyes on a solid black polyester thong with flames shooting up the front of it. I liked it immediately and new this would be my first.

As it was my first thong purchase, I was incredibly nervous about being caught carrying it by my family or by a group of girls walking through the store, so I found a shirt in my size and covered the thong up with it. Next I was on the search for a suitable person at the cash register...again worrying I would be laughed at or confronted about "why someone would want to wear something like that".

I saw a nice looking middle aged women with no one in line at her register and no one browsing in the area. I approached her with a very red face and passed her the shirt thong combo and my debit card all in one very quick movement. The thong fell out and landed on the till and she looked me right in the eyes and smiled at me. She held it up at head height pulled the sides stretching it out a little and said "did you find everything you were looking for?"
I was now completely red and could feel my ears burning. She folded it up nicely placed it in the bag looked me in the eyes and said softly "This is really cute, you have a lucky girlfriend!" I went from feeling completely embarrassed to completely empowered in about 2 seconds! I loved it! I will never forget what that lady did for me, that could have been the first and last thong I ever bought but she gave me the confidence to keep going.

 I bought my first thongs...from HOM. It's the first time I buy something from a foreign online store.
The really first thong I bought, was from an auction. It's black cotton, made in Brazil size M. It's really tight for an M! I didn't really like the seams in the DMZ (just after the scrotum) as it during the day started to mark and hurt my skin.
The 2nd and 3rd, I bought at a lingerie shop that had a mannequin at the display window. I was a little bit nervous, but I entered the shop and bought them. They are from Punto Blanco and I have a few pictures of them at flickr. It was this February near the Valentine's Day. Boy... one of them was really comfy, the other not so much, but looked really good. They were size S, but a large size S. I thought that the quality made up for the price. Then I went for another one, the 4th. The woman at the shop only has two types of thong and they are similar.
I once bought a pack of two from La Redoute, they were in sales, but in a wrong size, too large. The problem is that it doesn't give support and he 'fruit' falls to the side a lot often.
Three days ago I ordered 3 thongs from HOM, a Bright Chevron, a Tango String and a Ressac (which I thought it was underwear. I tried on the tango and it's the most comfortable thong I ever worn! The pattern is not very beautiful, bue the fabric is really silky and it accommodates the 'boys' really well. The back is very nice as you feel like you are wearing nothing. The other ones I still haven't tried. The best of HOM is that the order took only 3 days, and they say it takes from 5 to 10 days. I think I'm gonna take a few pictures to show you my new purchases.

(Underwear)

I grew up wearing whitty tighties as a kid but when i got to middle school I started wearing boxers because everyone else did and it was real awkward for the brief kids in the locker room.

Anyways now im 23 and my Fiance suggested I try bikini briefs. I am open minded to it so pick a box of bikini briefs and string bikini briefs at walmart and really liked them, especially the string bikinis about a week ago. I haven't worn boxers since. I then started wondering since I liked those so much what I may think about Thongs. I looked around and nobody had them but then say that Kmart had some on their website so went down and bought a package of the Joe Boxer thongs (and a box of their string bikini briefs)

Well lets just say I have been wearing them for 24 hours and I am really disappointed.... because now I have like 8 pairs of string bikini briefs I never want to wear again haha.

They are great and I love them. The only thing I am self conscious about is that I am not in great shape and even have a bit of a beer belly. However sinse I have started wearing string bikinis it has me going back to the gym so I will look better in them. (Who would have thought my underwear would make me want to get in shape)

Im no weight lifter or anything but I don't let my underwear hang out so I am not really worried about it. My Fiance loved the string-bikini briefs but I have told her about the thongs yet, ill wait till she finds out for herself one day haha.

 A wardrobe is a great motivator to stay in shape.  Mine is full of tight pants, fitted shirts, spandex, and thongs, which are great at letting me know when my physique starts to slip a bit.  I'm no weight lifting super-hunk either, but I truly believe that the clothes I wear play a huge role in keeping me in the best shape possible.

When I was thirteen,  I went to a department store and got my first thong. Back then, I didn't know that there were thongs made for men, so I went to the women's section and picked out any thong that was on sight. Since it was embarrassing to buy a women's thong, I immediately went to the cashier to pay for my thong.  

I can relate to the self-conscious, "beer belly" part lol. Unfortuantely I suffer from some problems with my arms and back that prevent me from exercising as I should. Because of that I've gained about 30 lbs and don't have a thong body that I'm necessarily comfortable with. I still going to wear my thong this week at the beach though.

I'm a straight 35 year old male, happily married.  I've been obsessed with thongs on women since I was probably 11 years old.  I'm always buying thong underwear for my wife and gawking over her in 'em.  Just a few weeks ago, I ordered myself a few pair (of mens) and am getting used to them.  They feel great and it's really exciting/thrilling to be out in public with them on underneath my clothes.  They also motivate me to work-out more!  (Gotta get that lean body back.)  Anyway, I'm nowhere near going out in thong swimwear yet, but I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.  Is this how it all starts?  haha   

I agree, I agree and I agree.  I love to see women in thongs and it does motivate me to work out more too.  Also NO ONE that I know would believe I wear a thong.  I wear them under clothes and on a few occasions to the beach.  Not necessarily to show off but just to sun my bunns!

Thinthong - haven't tried N2N.  Comfy?  I wasted some money on Clevver and Groovin' brands, which are sized too small and don't have enough... container space.  Finally I found a great one called ManSilk or something.  Was able to wear it 24 hours, which was a first.  But it has to be hand-washed since it's silk.  Still looking for that perfectly comfortable, sexy thong that I can buy 10 pairs of.

 Welcome to the club. For me, the real joy of thoonging is wearing them in public. There's nothing like it! And I know that thonging is a great motivation to get in and stay in peak condition physically. Have fun dude!
