I am spending about 10 days end november 12-21st in Mas Palomas.

Its not gonna be the first time, but my bf and I decided to fully live and enjoy the pleasure of wearing thongs and g strings 24/7. I know that the island is very open minded and wearing a thong at the beach or dunes is not a big problem. We ll stay in a gay resort during our visist, but I d like to know more if some of you have been already there and got any advise on this.

I have been thonging many times in Playa del Ingles and Mas Palomas. I have stayed at gay hotels and normal hotels and always been wearing thong around the pool without any problem. 
The gay beach in Mas Palomas is the bar number 7. And you can without any problem walk in just your thong to the beach through the dunes. 
I have tried some of the gay hotels. AxelBeach, Club Tucanes, Aqua Beach Bungalows and Basement Studios. All of them are ok.I am sure you will have lots of fun. 

 I hope regular hotels like Riu Maspalomas, Rey Carlos and others are fine with thonging at their pools.
I will be in Maspalomas next month Oct 6-15. Will be happy to join someone for tanning.

 I have worn a g-string on the beach and at every hotel pool I have stayed at in the Canaries and walked from hotel rooms to beach in a thong many times.I will be in Playa del ingles the last 10 days of October.The last time I was there was back in March and saw 2 more guys in g-strings and 5 in thongs on the beach down towards San Agustin where there is less wind and calmer water for swimming.

I am spending about 10 days end november 12-21st in Mas Palomas.

You might be overdressed in a thong on Gran Canaria.Someone on another board has commented that it is very nude friendly.

 Very open minded place I love it and alway vistit every year and never had any problems saw lots of other guys and girls in thongs here and even wear thongs at hotel pools and India had positive reactions

 Yes Gran Canaria is very thong friendly.  Good to be able to walk in the streets of Playa del Ingles in only a thong.  This afternoon I was wearing a Muscleskin classic thong and my walk included walking from the Cita shopping centre to the big Yumbo shopping centre.  There’s a network of roads in between and I went along Avenida de Inglaterra, crossed over Av de Bonn and then went along Av de Irlanda.  This area contains mainly bungalow complexes.  It felt so good to be in only a thong in the streets in the sunshine.  I was fully relaxed as I walked and nobody batted an eyelid.  

When I got to the Yumbo I walked past several taxis at the taxi rank and walked down the steps to the lowest level.  I sat in the sunshine for maybe 15 minutes and took a few pics of myself using the delayed shutter feature on the phone. I wanted to be able to prove I was thonging at the Yumbo, as an encouragement to others.  I’ve added one of the pics to my Images.

After that I walked round the far end of the Yumbo.  Some people were sitting in the sun at some of the sidewalk cafes.  I couldn’t help walking reasonably near to some of them but felt entirely comfortable doing so.  I went in one gift shop and obviously caused no concern to the shop assistant.  I then set off to walk back from the far side of the Yumbo to the Cita, broadly retracing my steps but using some different sections of roads and pathways. Altogether a delightful experience.

Gran Canaria - especially the beach from Playa del Ingles to Maspalomas - is a perfect place to wear thongs.

I enjoy wearing thongs since 2004 and have travelled to many beaches. I couldn't imagine to wear anything else at the beach.

Anyone going to Maspalomas the first week of April?

I will be in playa-del-ingles from 22 october for a week and will be on the beach in g-string and would like to meet other thongers.

I was going to go the week before but might go that same week. Where is good to stay? Would like to wear a thong around the hotel pool so somewhere quiet without families might be better than some of the larger hotels I’ve come across online so far.

I have stayed at Riu papyas, neptuno,caserio,Dunas don gregory hotels and have worn a thong at all of them. I do prefer the beach around Playa del ingles to San Agustin where I can wear the smallest strings and thongs.

My dates are from 22nd Dec to 27th. Will you be around that time or after?

I've been watching some beach walk videos of Gran Canaria (Maspalomas & Playa del ingles) that were taken recently. Ohh, I want to go there so bad!! A significant number of the ladies there are in thongs and a large portion of the guys are wearing speedos. Even though I didn't notice any guys in the videos in thongs, I would definitely make a point of wearing mine. I also notice that there's a nude section - my wife & I would definitely spend some time there as well. Why can't we have beaches like this in the U.S.?

I've been watching those Gran Canaria beach walk videos too, there's a different one each day! Not only lots of thongs on women but so many are topless too. Would love to go there!

Wow and the majority of the guys are in speedos.

I've been several times to different beaches in Spain over the years, and never have I seen som many speedos (and thongs) as in the videos from the last few months. I think it's because there a fewer tourists from abroad there these days, so the majority of the people on the beaches there now is probably Spanish. Hence more speedos and thongs.

This is really off topic, but no, I buy different brands almost every time. Sometimes I buy from AliExpress; cheap, not always great quality, although you have luck there. Sometimes I buy women's panties, if they have a unisex design, are wide enough in the front, and elastic enough for me to fit in them in the front without gaping.

Report from Playa de Inglis, Gran Canaria, July 2020. I've just returned from there and frequented the beach . There were many ladies in very skimpy swimwear. It looked like having considerable booty exposure is now a new normal. I'd say about 20% to 30% of ladies had their entire booty bare. Also about 40% had partial booty coverage. Those that had bare booties didn't seem the slightest bit self conscious & often seemed proud to display. Full coverage bikinis were definately a minority. Almost all the ladies wore bikinis, one piece swimsuits were very rare. I saw fewer than ten on my visits despite their been hundreds on the beach. A few ladies were topless. What I also noticed is that many gents were wearing speedos and trunks instead of shorts. I guess at least 10%. Fortunately almost all of those had good physiques and the trunks did them justice. I found this gratifying. Each time I wore a joe snyder thong. It is one of my most comfortable ones as well as the skimpiest I have. I walked up and down the beach often, one time about half way towards the lighthouse. It was a great feeling wearing it with my butt bare. I also swam in it and body surfed while wearing it. I didn't feel self conscious. I suspect that with so much female booty on show that my bare butt wasn't a big deal. I did notice a few stares but I did not detect any snide coments. I was disappointed I didn't see any other gents wearing a thong. I did see some men's thongs for sale in one of the shops near the beach. I didn't ask how popuar they were. I also visited "Aqualand", the local water park. I say a similar percentage of ladies wore thong bikinis. More wore swimsuits including thong swimsuits. I suspect this was to be more secure when plunging down a water slide. Many gents there wore trunks. I wore a kiniki "Andre" trunks. They were the skimpiest there.
