I probably wont order one after hearing that. I love the "nothing there" feeling of a gstring, but need the support of a regular thong pouch that is big enough to hold everything. What would you recommed, blackthongguy?

Bronzedbuns85,Personally I would recommend the CoverMale G-String  as they have a contoured pouch which allows for everything to fit secure and snug but it isn't binding, more like it conforms to your  body. The string is soft and it doesn't pull and you can't feel it when you walk and sit. I sit mostly at work and they are extremely comfortable for daily wear and they are affordable in price. I also have some g-strings from Gregg Homme that I love but not all of their G-Strings have a contoured pouch. The Gregg Homme G-strings that I have and would recommend would be the Hip-Notic G-string, Charged G-string (I believe they still have this one available for cheap on cheapundies.com), and Baller G-String. All of these have the contoured pouches, I have others by Gregg  Homme but can't recall the specific name as I have had them for some years, that's three I late my most recent additions. By contoured I mean the center seam down the front that allows for everything to fit comfortably and securely in the pouch. If the gstring doesn't have this, in my personal opinion and experience they fit like women's panties and are flat and if you are endowed things may not fit properly and comfortably. Good luck on finding a comfortable G-String but those two brands would be my recommendation.

The snug pouch thongs (CX05BD) are amazing and one of my favorite thongs for everyday wear. They're super low cut in the front, but hug the male anatomy so comfortably. I also love the slingshot (CX14) - g-string thong underwear with a super cozy pouch.

I'm looking for new thongs to try out that aren't the usual brands I tend to wear (HOM, Olaf Benz, C-IN2), Manstore and Cocksox have caught my eye.

I'm interested in the CX05 thong but not sure about the original pouch, is it comfortable? Does it make your junk protrude as much as the pictures and is it comfortable for daily wear (i.e. to work?)
All these raving reviews online from so many people but I'm curious if there are any members here who have tried it out.

Manstore is another brand I'm looking at and I'm wondering about the tower string in particular.

I have a few thongs from Olaf already (I know they're made by the same company) but how do they compare and how comfortable are they?

I'm looking for daily, everyday, no-frills, nothing too sexy thongs to wear to work and out and about.

Thanks!

The Cocksox and Ergowear thongs and G String are very comfortable for everyday wear. They are more expensive but the quality is there. They do not make you too forward under your clothes but plenty of room and again very comfortable.

Chance discovery: Cocksox's Slingshot is ideal for anything involving extended sitting—desk-work or couch-potatoing, for example—because it gives exactly the right amount of lift to keep your package from being inadvertently sat on or squeezed, thus reducing fatigue while sitting still, and eliminating the need to manipulate yourself by hand every time you shift position. The very slight "missile" effect—normally quite natural-looking, and almost invisible under clothing—really comes into play if you put your legs up and cross your ankles, as you might while watching TV or a movie, so that the penis naturally rides up just a little above the crotch, while the testicles fill in comfortably beneath. Any Cocksox style with the "Original Pouch" would give the same benefit, but the Slingshot is the closest you can come to being naked, and it's so comfortable you'd swear you were.

@nekidntahiti The swim thongs you mentioned from Bang and Hunk are all lined. If you really want to be daring, check out the Cocksox swim trunks, swim briefs, and swim thongs. All are unlined and hug your body, especially when wet. I swear by these and have over 60 pair in the different styles. I started out with the briefs but then added the thongs and the trunks for different venues.

@bonzo68 thanks for the post. Having no experience with lined/u lined, the he. U say it hugs your body, does that mean it just shows your bulge more? Im not sure Im ready to be that daring yet.

Hi Neki and welcome to the board . Unlined suits tend to be clingier , yes and potentially more transparent . That can look good or it may be not what you want . The best thing to do of course is try them at home first in the shower and see if you like the look . Most of my suits are unlined , mainly Joe Snyder , but recently I have loved wearing Modus vivendi which are lined . Both look and feel great .

Yes, it shows your bulge more. If you look at the Cocksox website, the swim brief has the original pouch, which holds the package up and out, but not like a missile thongs available elsewhere. The swim thong has the snug pouch. The two pouches are indeed different, but both definitely hold the genitals away from the legs. I have the swim trunks, swim briefs, and swim thongs in every single color, even the discontinued colors like Marlin Blue, Code Red, Purple Haze, Galactic Blue, Sweet Orange, Shamrock, Oceanic, Reef Gold, Baseline Blue, Malta, Reef Gold, and Slice Green. I stocked up when the colors were on sale and about to be discontinued. For some colors, the fabric is a bit stretchier than others. Even though all colors are listed as being the same exact fabric, I beg to differ, but not in a bad way. The Slice Green color is just about as sheer as the White Pointer color when wet. The other lighter colors like Malta and Reef Gold are also a bit sheerer than the darker colors. If you don't want anything to be see through, even when wet in these unlined suits, you would be safe going with the darker colors like Jet Black, Volley Blue, and even the Electric Blue swim thongs. Cocksox has rotated through a lot of different colors since I have been buying them 10 years ago. It seems they clear out the inventory of least popular colors every winter and introduce new colors in the spring and summer. The current 4 solid colors in the swim trunks, the current 5 solid colors in the swim briefs, and the 6 solid colors in the swim thongs is the least number of color choices I have seen since I started buying them. I have worn all three style suits at many different venues such as the local pool, the local state parks, and all beaches in Florida, with no issue whatsoever. I know we are primarily discussing thongs, but I have the other style suits because thongs are not permitted at the local pool or the PA state parks. If you really want to be daring as a first time public thonger, go to www.the-bikini.com and look at the men's tear drop g-strings. I have these in both solid and sheer fabrics. I have safely worn the solid colors at Daytona and New Smyrna Beaches in Volusia County Florida where thongs are legal. I even wore the sheer fabric thongs at these beaches, but only when laying out to get a tan. I always change into the solid colors when walking the beach. I always take a small sun shade tent in which I can change throughout the day. Per my research, it seems I may be able to wear the sheer g-strings at South Beach in Miami. I have not been there yet to see what is acceptable. I hope to go in October 2024 or 2025. Welcome to the thongboard and to the world of thonging. It is a great feeling and it gets easier with each visit to the beach or pool.

I swear by the Cocksox brand. They fit perfectly like a glove and never need to be adjusted. I have been buying them for 10 years now. I wear the swim briefs and the swim thongs daily as underwear. There is no protrusion when wearing them as underwear. The swim brief has the original pouch, which holds the package up and out, but not like a missile thongs available elsewhere. @bonzo68 Since you swear by Cocksox which of the swim briefs are you referring to: drawstring, boy leg or regular briefs? And, what about the rear? Some of their examples make it look like the backside is poorly fitting and baggy.. Is that true of all three styles? With regard to the thongs, it looks like the back triangle is too generous. Your thoughts?

Re:Cocksox.com

@Dennis at Thong Beach I wear the regular swim briefs. I know exactly what you mean about the rear of the regular swim brief and the swim thong. As for the rear of the swim briefs, the picture is a bit deceiving. There is a little of extra fabric when wearing it dry. When the suit gets wet, it clings to my body, especially when I am full waxed or shaven. To overcome this "extra" material, I always put on the suit so it fits where I want the waist band to be, the package is tucked in properly, etc. Then I squat down and lift the fabric in the back to allow the fabric to go into the crack. Then when I stand up the extra fabric you see disappears into the crack. I do not do this because of any seemingly poor design. I do this because I like how it feels and kind of gives a scrunch back look without the actual scrunch. The suit then feels more like a rio back suit than a "full seat" suit. I will explain more later. As for the swim thong, I agree the triangle is a bit generous. Regardless, I still love how the suit fits everywhere else. As for the back, it is a bit on the conservative side compared to a lot of other minimalistic suits. I think Cocksox is trying to avoid the extreme, minimalistic suits we see on the internet from many other sources. Now I am going to surmise as to why Cocksox designs their suits in these ways. I have been buying Cocksox suits for 10 years now and have seen a lot of changes over the years. When I first started buying Cocksox, they had many other styles and colors to choose from. Some examples are rio back suits (discontinued), suits made of very, very thin and stretchy material that are very see through when wet (discontinued), colors called gala where the fabric had a metallic look in blue, purple, red, etc. and the suits almost looked like they had a "rubbery" texture to them (discontinued), and bright pastel colors called Sweet Orange, Shamrock (green), Purple Haze, Reef Gold (yellow), Baseline Blue (pastel blue), Malta (aquamarine), Watermelon (red leaning towards pink), Slice Green (neon green - think Borat mankini) (all discontinued. All in all, I think Cocksox is trying to cater the men who are not ashamed to quit wearing board shorts, who want to get more sun, who want to feel sexier, who don’t want to wear the traditional speedos with a logo, who are not ready to dive into wearing an extreme g-string, etc. I am saying this for a couple reasons. One, the color choices are as few as I have seen in the past 10 years and the current color choices are only the traditional black, white, and various shades of blue. Notice the swim trunk is not available in white, it never has been. Is this because it would look too much like underwear, especially when wet? If so, why are the swim brief and the swim thong still available in white? I don’t know and I don’t care. I have both in white and they are not as sheer when wet as you would think. Second, they got rid of the rio back suits, the shiny fabrics, the thin see through fabrics, etc. I don’t know if they weren’t selling, they couldn’t get the material anymore, etc. I you are thinking about trying Cocksox, watch for the colors that go on sale to try them out. The colors that go on sale are about to be discontinued. I stocked up on several swim briefs and bought malta, watermelow, reef gold, slice green and baseline blue last year.

@Dennis at Thong Beach I sent an e-mail to Cocksox asking if they plan on adding more solid colors. I also asked if they will bring back the Brazilian cut or consider changing the current thong design from being a "wide" whale tail to a more minimal triangle. I also asked if they will ever introduce or reintroduce different fabrics. At one time they offered a Wetlook Brazilian Swim Brief in different colors. I have a pair of these in black and the fabric is VERY thin. It is so thin I feel naked when wearing them. It is very see-through when the fabric is wet and when you are in the bright sun. They also offered colors, with gala in the name, I think in blue, red, and maybe green? These had like a metallic look to the fabric (think posing suits or girl's gymnastic outfits). I did not care for these colors and never purchased any. At one time they offered a few prints in a sheer material. I purchased the CX02PR Sheer Swim Brief Hypnotic. The fabric is also very thin, but it is the full back brief. I am assuming the fabric is comparable to the Kiniki products. I looked at the Kiniki website and I am not a fan of their different styles at all. I will update this post once I hear back from Cocksox. To be continued...

Here is the response I just received from Cocksox Sales: We change the selection of colours based on various factors, including popularity with our fans and the currently available collections across both underwear and swimwear. While staples such as black and white remain a constant, the majority of other colours and prints come from limited edition collections. Once these colours sell out, we do not reproduce them. We understand your concerns about the limited colour options in our swimwear collection at the moment. In all honesty, we would have to agree that we are a bit short of variation right now. As we prepare for upcoming releases, we are focusing on closing out some of our older colours, and are therefore only restocking our top sellers - which are black, white and the various shades of blue. Regarding the CX24 Brazilian Brief, we did discontinue this style due to low sales in comparison to the CX02 Brief and CX22 Thong. This decision was not related to any shift in our marketing strategy away from revealing designs, just a decision based on the noticeable preferences of our fans. The CX24 is the only style that has been discontinued in recent years. The CX22 Thong is in fact one of our best sellers, and we have actually increased production in this style in recent years. There are no plans to change the back triangle design, or to introduce any other thong cut at this stage. The release of the Gala collection stemmed from a one-off opportunity to obtain the stunning fabric we used for this range. We knew it would not be available to us moving forward, but as our previous wetlook range had proved to be so popular, we were excited by the chance to work with a fabric that had similar properties. If you were a fan of these collections, then look out for the release of our next swimwear collection in April/May. This will feature a brand new fabric that has plenty of similarities - and will even appeal to those who miss the sheer swimwear from 2017.

As far as cocksox,I love their thong for comfort and fit, I have a few and they are a real joy to wear, very nice, "live in" thong with a strap that isn't too wide, but they could be narrower in the back triangle area, just as a visual thing, I agree. I prefer thongs that are super narrow anyway, sometimes bordering on g string thickness is great. As far as kiniki, their swim thong is way too wide, almost ridiculous. Ive written to them but no responses. I wish their brazil bikini was a little cheekier and their swim thong was much narrower in the back strap. They would get more of my business.
