Date Posted:06/18/2020 04:29:55Copy HTML I have been thonging for about 30 years when I started at 15, and my sister started at 14. I have been fortunate to get lots of compliments over the years, mostly from the boys and men. To be honest, it makes me feel really great, even if the person otherwise is not my type. It sometimes seems that the less I wear, the more compliments I get. Put me in some shorts and an open side shirt and the guys give me compliments. On the beach, a thong or G-string bottom topfree gets me even more. Last summer I started wearing "C String" bottoms, and really get the compliments. I don't mind a bit, since I am very much an exhibitionist and love letting people, both friends and strangers alike, see as much of my body as is legally acceptable or at least acceptable to the others near me. My husband, Randy pushes even harder to show off as much as he can and skinny-dips or otherwise goes nude whenever he can get away with it. He is not jealous of me showing so much, but I wish I had the courage to do some of the things he gets away with. Our interest in wearing as little as possible has lead to many compliments and interesting conversations and sometimes a good friendship. The only thing I don't like is when a person gets a little too personal in their comments. A comment like "I like your tits" when I am topfree might be honest, but seems a little crude. If the guy says something like "I think it's great that they let women go topless here," is a little less personal and does not generally bother me, and lets me know he noticed me. A follow-up compliment like "I think you look nice without a top." is then appreciated. Of course, compliments do not have to be verbal. A big smile can say a lot. Many men seem flustered, especially as my swimwear gets smaller or even borders on what some call the indecent. A micro bottom which I let slip into the "forbidden zone" but which I can also wear outside that area when required generally ties up a man's tongue. Women seem to be more able to talk and look at the same time, even when Randy is in the buff. But what I wanted to talk about in this post is how everyone likes getting positive attention. EVERYONE. My dad is no exception. If asked about his age, he will say he is "pulling 60." He doesn't have the body like a younger man but is not ashamed of what he has got. My dad has been extremely cautious about the Coronavirus or Covid-19 as some call it. He has several risk factors so he doesn't get out too much. He wanted some lumber and other supplies for things he was building, so he ask me to go to the lumber store with him. One thing about Dad is that he takes his lumber personally and has to find the perfect boards for what he is doing. In Ohio, we have Menard's stores, and they are making the wearing of masks mandatory for both employees and customers. Everyone pretty much accepts this, but some seem a little ticked. I assume that people who really object to wearing a mask will go somewhere else. So there I was at the home center store with my Dad. I picked up a few gardening supplies and grass seed and he got his lumber he needed and some saw blades that were on sale. I was wearing a very thin and somewhat sheer t-shirt and was braless. I knew my nipples were pretty obvious. My shorts were very skimpy athletic shorts. Very short and with open mesh sides about four inches wide. They were not tight, but guys sure seem to like looking at them. They are not all that unusual and many other young women wear similar bottoms, but mine showed a little more of the legs and also a little bit of the bottoms of my buns. Dad was wearing a conservative open-side shirt and pretty short cutoff jean shorts. He sort of adopted this style shirt after seeing so many of my male friends wearing them. His shorts would be considered skimpy on any man, but he said "this is the way we used to wear them in the 60s and 70s". My husband Randy and some of my other male friends wear cutoffs just as short. I have seen more men in public wearing running shorts as well, but that is another topic on this board. Dad and I are so used to seeing each other wearing clothing like this that neither of us even noticed what the other is wearing. As long as I can remember, he has worn similar cloths, and even wears thongs to the lake or pool and never has any issues with anything I choose to wear. We were in line (spaced 6 feet apart) waiting to check out. A lady and man who were probably in their 40s stood behind us. Out of the blue, the women looked at me and said "I like your outfit". "Thanks," I said. "Oh I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to the man with you." This really floored me for a moment. I had heard women make a fuss over my husband and brother in law, but never over my dad. My dad thanked her and after checking out we left the store. I assumed that the lady was not making a sincere comment perhaps being snide or thinking my dad was gay and trying to make fun of him. As the couple from behind us came out the door to the parking lot, the lady was carrying on with her partner about "why don't you dress like that." The final thing said was when the man who had been behind us passed us and said to my dad something to the effect of "She [meaning me] is so young. I guess maybe dressing like that really turns the ladies on." Everyone likes compliments. Try to make them whenever you can. A nice compliment about beachwear might make a person feel better if they are insecure in what they are wearing or even push them a little to try something more adventurous. Randy can throw out compliments like crazy. Even the most unattractive women on the beach he will single out and give a compliment to -- it might be on her earrings or swimming abilities, but he always finds something nice to say. Once a compliment is given, the door usually opens to a conversation, and if he eventually asks her about his swimwear -- even a baggie or total nudity, she usually will say whatever he is wearing or not wearing is fine with her. Others who see this probably at some level mellow out their opinions of him a bit if they object to what he is wearing, and the more people they see him chatting with, the mellower their opinion. There is less right or wrong in his clothing choices in general. "If others on the beach like him, then he must be okay people think. Compliments from others who see him seem more natural and there is more acceptance and less judging of him based simply on what he is or is not wearing. A young woman in a tiny thong will also get Randy's attention, but his comments are not crude or insincere. "Your hair color really looks good with that swimsuit color" or "You have a really nice tan". is the type compliment he will start with. If he gets a positive response he might then compliment her on how skimpy her swimwear is or how nice her buns or breasts look. I have even heard him compliment a woman's beach bad or the towel she is laying on "I like your towel, do you know where you got it?" can start a conversation, but still is a compliment to the person's tastes. A lot of older women come with daughters and many seem cautious of "that guy in a thong" until Randy makes a few compliments, and then suddenly, everything is okay. Sometimes he even gets positive comments on his swimwear after commenting on the women in a sincere way. Occasionally an apology is also welcome and appreciated. Once, Randy wandered down a beach in the buff. The beach was not clothing optional, so when he had to pass people to get back to where I was, he said something like "I'm sorry but I wasn't expecting anyone to set up in this area and decided to skinny dip. When I get back to my clothes, I will put a swimsuit on. More times than not, the person he is talking to says something like "Oh, [we're all adults, so] your nudity is okay with us. You don't need to cover up unless you want to. Randy has even had these same people talk for long periods of time or women even ask Randy to apply sunscreen, even though Randy might be totally naked. That is not to say they stop looking at his body, but they certainly don't act offended that he is showing it off. He gets away with so much, but I think it is his attitude, in general, that does more for him than anything else. Of course, there are those who don't really want to be bothered, so don't say something to someone who is reading, has earphones in, is sleeping, of especially if they show no interest in talking to you. If people obviously turn away when you are near, avoid talking to them unless it is really important. Also, try not to interrupt a conversation unless it stops when you get near. Randy generally does not comment on specific people in a group, unless he can somehow make it a group compliment or has compliments he can give everyone. "You folks really seem to know your way around a sail boat," would be a general compliment. Another would be telling a group of people where several are in thongs "I'm glad I am not the only person in a thong. You all must be comfortable with wearing them or being with others who wear them." A sincere compliment will make anyone feel better about themselves. Sometimes it can also lead to interesting conversations and friendships. Even off the beach and not about swimwear, compliments are appreciated. Compliment when you can. Don't hand them out like they cost $20 each! |

Re:Complements make everyone's day! Date Posted:06/18/2020 07:34:23Copy HTML This is a really good guide to how to start a conversation with someone that looks good. I agree that the attitude and sincerity is the key.
Do most of the people who received compliments like to extend that conversation with Randy ?
What percentage of people would not response ?

Re:Complements make everyone's day! Date Posted:06/21/2020 05:15:15Copy HTML I received a non-verbal compliment today from a group of 8-10 early-20s women. I could see them approach out of the corner of my eye and saw one point toward me.
They set up their towels about 6-8 feet away from me. I caught a couple of them looking at my suit after they had gotten down to their swimsuits.
Of course, the cell phones came out when I turned around to get a drink out of my cooler and they saw the back of the g-string suit.
Even with my gray hair, they seemed to like seeing the skimpy suit.
(It could be the first they've seen, since their male classmates probably all wore board shorts.)

Re:Complements make everyone's day! Date Posted:06/21/2020 10:04:34Copy HTML Yesterday I was out at the beach, met up with a couple of women there. I was wearing a Buffedbod Hoist Thong. First thing I heard was: “cute suit, I really like it.” A bit later a couple other of their friends joined us. I heard: “ I really like your suit. Can I join you the next time you are out here?” Big smiles from everyone. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Re:Complements make everyone's day! Date Posted:06/24/2020 07:47:55Copy HTML You're right, Rapidblue, it doesn't! You're a regular James Bond: men want to be you, women want to be with you! LOL! Apparently you're doing something right, so you keep going!
While wearing a Speedo bikini at a wave pool two years ago:
Me: Nice day to be at the pool, isn't it?
She: Yes it is!
Me: I like your suit; it has a happy, bright floral print!
She, middle-aged and smiling: Thank you, and you have a beautiful body!
Me: Thank you, I appreciate that! I love this place; everyone has a good time.
We talked two more times that day. I'm sure her hubby, kids, and grandkids love her. I thought she was great!

Re:Complements make everyone's day! Date Posted:08/13/2021 01:47:01Copy HTML I got a great complement from a 40+ yr old woman and her mother today. I was told, you wear that thong so well. You have the best buns. This from the younger woman. Her mother said I would fit in the beach scene in Barcelona (where she is from) and I looked great. Then they both told me they hoped to see me again, wearing a thong.
Great thing to have happen today. |

Re:Complements make everyone's day! Date Posted:10/15/2026 03:50:16Copy HTML Elsewhere on the internet someone asked how to give complements to a thong wearer and not come off creepy. My response below.
____________________________________________________
If you want to give a complement and not come of creepy:
1) On the beach where the thong is obvious it is best not to use words. A simple thumbs up and a smile works.
There will be no misunderstanding, no "What did you say?".
If you want to use words don't make it long-winded. A simple "Looking Good"; "Right On" or similar - With a flash of a short friendly smile.
In general avoid things like a wolf whistle, which may be misinterpreted as sarcastic. Think of builders using wolf whistles to harass women on the street. If it can be taken the wrong way an insecure person will take it the wrong way, which was not your intention.
2) EXIT - Do not hang around smiling like a disabled child waiting for a return complement. Give the complement or encouragement and be ON YOUR WAY. Move On. Be walking away. This is for a number of reasons:
(a) If you hang around it is like you are trying to open a dialog, and most straight men find a dialog that opened with a comment a bout their genitals, or what is covering them to be uncomfortable at best.
(b) Your complement probably took them by surprise, will take time to process, and they don't have a ready comeback.
So make your show of support brief, fleeting, and then move on. Don't put them on the spot. Don't wait for them to react or respond to your complement. They might, but probably not.
Most people feel a little uncomfortable when getting unsolicited comments about their body or appearance, positive or not. So don't hang around to make it awkward. Make it short, fleeting and move on. |

Re:Complements make everyone's day! Date Posted:10/15/2026 06:52:00Copy HTML Making comments to someone you know about intended individual. Loud enough so they can overhear. Inadvertent second hand eavesdropping compliment is much less threatening to intended individual.
Talking to a pal far away from female i found sexy and chit chatted long time ago. Just making true comment she has best legs i ever witnessed….Don’t you agree?
Having someone other than me add their two cents. Commenting, yeah, asians have pre-genetic disposition of having good legs.
Knowing sound of my voice in the room carried, certainly gal overheard it but not recognizing who i was specifically pointing out.
Asian gal was only one in the room of group of other non asians, so matter of deduction she could have figured it out, by paying attention people surrounding us.
Find it good way to get your point across without searching for thank you response.
Find this works in a group setting without being too direct.
We are in conversation with two people. Gal will direct compliment onto someone else describing me. He looks so good looking, wearing this or that, blah, blah, don’t you agree? Third person will either translate the compliment in other words, and re-direct it in mild less direct answer onto me. Or return the message onto her as being the attractive one. We all searching and voicing compliments in group setting to one another. Becoming almost jubilant in nature without appears awkward or creepy. Recently had two straight, loud talking, young testosterone charged, eager to train males compliment my body. Know these two guys compliment me before. This time they spoke out loudly middle of crowded gym desiring my physique. Wishing to look as good when they reach my age or their age. Again asking my age. Everyone hears these guys talk and train loudly in the gym. No doubt the two dudes are overheard by all in closed vicinity of 20 people. Feels awkward since everyone can react to their words. Watching others around to see anyone cringe or chuckle from their comments and compliments. It’s also good way to get honest feedback from certain gals in the gym that don’t talk. Sometimes these dudes make me feel embarrassed yet smile at their words. Saying to others don’ t you see he is great shaped, body.. Gal i never spoken to respond to them yes! yes! i noticed , i noticed everything .. Sounds amusing but gets others involved giving vocal feedback if they agree with two loud dudes assessment of my body. Instead of feeling awkward or frightened what others think to their compliments of me. Often giggle amused and intrigued what some others maybe thinking or respond through expressions on their face or suggest something more secretly never normally be revealed. Sometimes compliments of someone’s intentions through body language. Observed many gals i see routinely but never say a word and vice versa. Unsure if my words be compliments be considered in great value or esteem. Sometimes people have low opinion of me, anything i would say with good intention would be misinterpreted negatively. Tuning my antenna by close observation of females i indirectly got to know by listening in with conversations with mutual people we know. After many visits and recognition over long period of time feel we both non speaking terms have ideas of one another on non verbal relationship. When we are speaking to mutual people we both know our radar pop up intrigued. Lately noticed two females i could easily compliment as posh and sexy. One which is engaged with nice tan mocha skin and tall frame physique although not in great fit shape she like. Do notice flirtation glances upon me when closer opportunity arise scanning me over. Both of us caring about the style color of clothing we are wearing. |
