Hey guys!

This is a brand that I recently bought a thong from, it is Cover Male.  I now own the exact same thong in 5 colors, but it comes in 5 or 6 more, I think.  Just thought I'd share it with you guys cause I discovered them and have now turned a couple of friends onto them.  I wore mine last night in the hot tub and afterwards I washed it by hand with mild soap and it held up perfectly.  That was my main concern, but it did fine.  It's also perfectly built and hugs everything nicely.

Have a great weekend!

Looks like a good conservative-to-moderate thong that can take over from those that Speedo stopped making.  May get it to wear at my health club when my old Speedos wear out.  Thanks for posting.

It looks like a comfortable thong, but it's too conservative for me. I'd probably wear that thong in pink, but not in other colors. I think I've got thongs that look very similar to that one.

Re:Cover Male (covermale)

I just received a couple of Cover Male pieces.  I ordered the regular bikini, the Brazilian, and the cheeky boxer.  The bikini and the Brazilian don't have enough room up front in the pouch.  I have to really work hard to get everything in, and then the fabric still doesn't completely keep my package under wraps.  The cheeky boxer has a different design on the pouch and does cover my package completely.  The fabric definitely doesn't dry very fast like the Joe Snyder or the Nuwear Casanova collection.  I may have to relegate these to underwear only.

Anyone else share this experience?

I noticed the drying problem as well as a size issue.  The large says 34-36 and I am a 35 all day.  I had to size up.

I ordered the Brazilian bikini last week from Freshpair. So far I'm pretty pleased with it. The seams and quality are about on par with Muscleskins but costs less. The rear does about half coverage and seems to ride up but not uncomfortably so. Also CM bikinis are made of Lycra and dry fast.

The only issue I have is that I usually wear  33" pants and I ordered a large size. They still fit fine but are a little bit loose, I prefer my underwear/swimwear snug and form fitting.

While on southbeach I checked out that store where I've bought thongs before.  It's a "surf style" brand store- there are several around but this is in the 13th st block of Washington.  They carry Joe Snyder, and some other brands.  This time they had Cover Male.  I was in the market for a thong short suit so I got one of them from Cover Male.  I've bought a JS cheek boxer there before and they had a good selection of them- this is quite similar but with a bigger and more pointy pouch.  I wore it on Ocean Drive over my G strings to and from the beach tried to avoid walking thru the restaurants! This one works better over my rocket and torpedo suits- the JS cheekboxer pouch is so small it gaps out with those pouches underneath.

Re:Cover Male (covermale)

Date Posted:12/27/2013 02:57:15Copy HTML

Just received my first Cover Male suit and considering the brand is obviously trying to emulate Joe Snyder I will compare. I ordered a simple black bikini.  My first impression is that it is overly-simple.
MATERIAL - it is not quite as thick, nor soft, as Joe Snyder.  Being unlined, I prefer material that is a tad bit thicker.  FIT - the rear (bikini style) rides up too high, covering the tailbone while exposing extra buttocks.  This makes it look like you are carrying extra baggage.  There needs to be a little more elasticity on the cheeks to keep everything in place.  POUCH - the pouch can be a tad bit smaller and somewhat more formed, enabling the "sleek" look. TAG - big thick tag in the back is hard to remove without causing damage to suit.  Be Careful!
Whereas Joe Snyder Bikini would receive an overall 4.5 / 5, Cover Male Bikini scores 3 / 5 on the same scale.

I got my first (and so far only) thong swimsuit just recently and wore it in the Caribbean while on a cruise (not on the boat though). It's a navy blue CoverMale Pouch Enhancing Thong (http://www.internationaljock.com/cover-male-pouch-enhancing-thong-navy,80405.html). I ordered thongs from lots of places, lots of manufacturers, and this one fit best by far. I'm thinking of ordering it in more colors. This Caribbean trip was my first thonging experience (except just undies) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to more, but unfortunately, I live in Salt Lake City. Not exactly known for beaches or thong-friendly people.

I found that the pouch enhancing suits fit well. The non-enhancing suit don't have enough room in the pouch for me. I have worn the mini cheek style many time to the beach with good results. I like the look of the pouch enhancing thong on my body. I really like the orange colour. I have several thongs and mini cheek styles (all pouch enhancing) in my possession. The mini cheek style is great for many hotels in more conservative parts of the country.

My favorite is the pouch enhancing thong. Bought several of them when they were on sale, also got the sheer white/black which I can use when the beach is not that busy.

Slightly off topic, but I have a couple of pairs of Cover Male running shorts. They don't cover much of the male! I wear them only for running, I wouldn't be game to wear them on public transport and they definitely wouldn't be allowed at my gym.

 SweattyAussie,

I also have a few pair of the split side running shorts, and the end up not covering anything at all up front, but I still wear them to run just have to remember to put on sunblock and act surprised when I see someone and they point that i'm sticking out. They are great for lounging and hanging out in though

Re:Cover Male (covermale)

Agree, the CM and other similar brands of "shorts" are not really fit for running in. I wear short shorts and short compression shorts for running and these were just plain silly. I felt more covered in a Speedo or running brief. As a cover-up or for lounging around at home, they are okay but a no go for running shorts IMO. As far as CM thongs, I love them for underwear under my compression shorts for running. They provide a nice bulge regardless of shrinkage factor and the fabric is good for sweating in, even for marathon or ultra marathon distances for me.

 thonglife,

They aren't really even that good of a cover up if you have the mesh because the mesh is completely sheer.

After having someone knock on the door I wore my black CM's this weekend to answer it while camping in my 5th wheel. Because I was sleeping nude as usual, so I get up and slip my black CM shorts on and a friends if there asking what time we planned on leaving for the race, so not to wake the wife I grabbed my hat/sunglasses and stepped down out of the 5th wheel. while we were talking outside in the sun I looked at my friend and I noticed she glanced down at my shorts, Then I said sorry about the small shorts, and noticed when I looked down they were completely sheer to where you could clearly see I was shaved/circumcised and pierced!!!

Re:Cover Male (covermale)

I've had their bikinis and thongs for a few years. All the ones I have are unlined. The fabric is usually not sheer but the lighter colors are a little when wet. (definitely the white). the cut is a little tight and doesn't fit (me) nearly as well as the Casanova, Kiniki, or Gary M ones. The benefit is the back is a little less coverage than a typical bikini. All in all a good brand, and should be good for the beach, however I am more satisfied with others I have. Nonetheless, I must credit the Cover Male for having a product to help me transition to the T backs.

A few years ago I bought a Cover Male Brazilian Bikini from Freshpair. It was billed as underwear but since the fabric is microfiber you could easily use it as swimwear. The style and feel are great, but the black dye job is terrible. I've hand-washed my bikini dozens and dozens of times, even now over two years later the bikini STILL bleeds dye! I was pretty disappointed, if it weren't for the bad dyeing job I'd definitely buy another Cover Male.

I recently received 2 CM202s, one red and one in camo. I'm between M and L and last time their size M is a little tight. So I ordered L and that feels better. They are comfortable to wear but they were not yet washed. I intend to wear those at the beach if the warm weather shows up (when?).

I absolutely love them, they're so sexy and show off about half of your bum which is great for swimming in public places. I wore it to a pool yesterday and it felt and looked great, strongly recommend!
I'm uploading some pics to my profile if anyone wants to see the look.

From what I can tell there is little difference between Cover Male swim and underwear. I have seen it listed as swimwear on some sites and underwear on other sites. There are a few items that I've seen exclusively as swimwear, but mostly there seems to be a crossover for many of their items.

True.  In fact, it says on their site that most of their styles can be worn as either swimwear or underwear, provided you're ok with unlined swimwear.

News flash: Cover Male will be a sponsor at SunSplash, in July.  They're providing free samples and running a giveaway contest for attendees in the six weeks leading up to the event.  Still working on details but they're very interested in being associated with this board in some way.

I wanted to let people know because, if this works out, it could be a big win for the board overall.  If you buy anything from their site, please drop them a note here:http://www.covermale.com/contact-us.htmland let them know you're a more member.  More news to follow.  Thanks!

Re:Cover Male (covermale)

I meant to add that CM's parent company, Underwear Station, actually owns eight different brands.  Many of which we discuss in various threads. Check them out here:
http://www.underwearstation.com/index.php?route=common/home
So it's not hard to understand the importance of letting them know that we patronize their products.  The SunSplash sponsorship is kind of an experiment.  If it works, I'll work on getting discounts discounts for all board members and who knows where it could lead.
Also, if you have any suggestions please don't hesitate to let me know.  Thanks!

I recently bought my last two g-strings from Cover Male (CM102), bringing my collection to 4 pieces. I'm very pleased with their quality. I will mostly use them as swim/sunwear. Small will hold the goodies with little room to spare in the top down dimension, just fine. I might like to also have a model that is somewhat more narrow. They do stand machine washing without any loss of color or deterioration of the fabric.

I bought some Cover Male and Daniel Alexander styles recently.  It looks like this year they changed the way the "tag" them. Now the tag information is silkscreened onto the inside of the garment.  When you buy underwear/ swimwear like this you want it to feel and look good.  This silkscreened tag on the pouch or rear panel really detracts from both.  While they fit well, I'm not going to order more until they change back to a tag that I can cut off and be done with it.  I would suggest others try Good Devil or Joe Snyder.
