Has anyone any experience with Cut4Men - I believe a European supplier. They list a Kini & Capri design very similar to the J Snyder versions.

Yes they seem straight lift of Joe Snyder. Although with their Kini there are several sizes. Might try one

UK supplier Deadgoodundies tell me : 'Cut4men is owned by Jose Vargas who is the son of Jose Snyder (Joe Snyder), he left that company and start up his own due to internal differences of opinions of where the company should be heading'. I have just ordered a C4M Kini from Dgu - their service is very good. I will report back following delivery re differences/similarities to the JS version.

I bought 2 or 3 Cut For Men G Strings from Deadgoodundies, one was awful, no shape and very badly made, the other two we OK, just. Not impressed, I wouldn't buy any more.

Now received a Cut4Men Kini. Compared with J Snyder version - very little difference other than label Colour - Royal Blue, & material virtually identical Crotch seam a little wider. Overall fit indistinguishable Packing says designed in France, made in China

I did my lap swimming today in the Cut4Men Kini lookalike. Basically nothing special to report. The underseam is slightly wider than the JS version & this helped to miminise wedging. I do try & avoid the latter in a pool environment - I am there to swim for exercise, not draw unnneccessary attention to myself.

I can't recommend over just buying a JS. I found the pouch to be smaller/too small compared to JS. Overall the fit was not as good

Their recent 'Chrom4tic' line caught my eye so I decided to take the plunge and bought a few pairs. Definitely a mixed bag. I LOVE the metallic material of the line. It's a nice smooth, metallic fabric that seems to hold up to touch. My old Joe Snyder metallic thongs along with some Gregg Homme metallic pairs always pulled or the metallic fabric would just lose its shine after a few wears and washes. The thongs are similar to Joe Snyder, but the pouch feels weird. They advertise the increase pouch size but my boys feel like they're going through some sausage casing at times. Still comfortable but a mixed bag. Their kinis feel good but have a more traditional pouch. The thin waistband holds up and they do feel great. The full back bikini is where I'm confused. They fit really tight for the size at the waste. Not sure if its just a bad batch, but the difference is noticeable. If it wasn't for the metallic fabric, I would probably hold off buying them again but its so much fun wear that I'll grab a few more pairs if they're on sale.
