Martylouie: Thats double whammy some countries banning camo. Often exclusive resorts on them islands ban thongs itself doesn’t matter what color. Those that don’t know would get fined if they protest or disregard polite warnings. Know married infatuated gal from Trinidad vaguely remember mentioning such laws... Thought she was only joking being cheeky, me being in disbelief. In reality it’s actually true. Can also understand people immigrated from those island countries would comment. He would be arrested not allowed to wear that thong in my country. Now i can understand reason gal might comment saying such words at the pool describing me. Overheard these negative harsh comments from immigrant gals. Not realizing it’s not personal to me but reality of countries laws about camo. Often thought someone overstating or embellishing my thong camo as being too much or scandalous to be wearing.

I have lots of camo swimsuits and typically only wear them on the cruise ship when in the Caribbean. When we go to St Kitts, where this year my daughter was forced to change out of her camo tights, upon arrival at the airport, I'm fine to wear my camo thongs at the resort with no issue.

Lately my favorite colors have been anything but tan! At some beaches where I'm following my "All Butt Naked" plan I need some contrast with my skin for people to see I'm wearing something. While wearing any partially see thru suit I'm aware that darker colors seem to absorb some light in the fabric, seem to allow slightly less sun thru- butt also allow less visibility of what's underneath. I have several same suits in different colors and that's how I've concluded this. On TEMU sometimes I'll get several colors of the same - sometimes they'll only sell the 2-5 pack- butt since they're $2-4 each why not! The color contrast has meaning in the pouch as well as straps for visibility. Sounds unbelievable but this week I was scoped out by a police helicopter which was flying about 100 ft off the immediate shoreline at about ?50 mph and slowed down to check out the lone person walking on the beach- with red mesh G string I was obviously wearing something- maybe with a hat on they thought I was a woman from about 200 ft away? Tax dollars at work!
