Date Posted:09/08/2005 08:25:30Copy HTML When you are wearing a thong, do you like it to feel as if you are wearing nothing under your jeans? Or do you like to feel the pouch supporting your equipment, and the strap teasing your arse?

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:09/10/2005 07:23:45Copy HTML I wanna know that I'm wearing a thong, but I dont want it cutting into my hips, or it feeling like it's going to slice me in half. But I do wanna feel the thong, in all areas. Especially when I squat down, it kinda rubs across my ,errrr, thingy in the back |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:09/10/2005 10:57:01Copy HTML I like the feeling of nothing , yet still being suported. Plus due to the narrowness of most thongs vs. tighty whities id doesn't chaff anything and unlike boxers it doesn't bunch up. . I agree with Mark Butler when he said "Its all to do with knowing that a thong is comfortable and makes you feel good." And that to me is al that counts. |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:09/22/2005 05:44:35Copy HTML For me, I like to know that it is a thong that I am wearing rather than anything else. I prefer to not feel the waistband, however, so long as the but strap is not feeling like it is is about to cut me in two, I am happy. I like the 'supported' feeling while being able to feel my arse cheeks against the fabric of what ever else I am wearing. My favourite thong is the Luc microfibre - that is the older style - not the new microfibre style they make which do have that 'cut in two' feeling. Otherwise it is JM Skinz. They are great on the waist and provide great support. It would be great if they were made in a greater range of colours! Having heard all that other members have said about the HOM Plume, I am planning on ordering shortly!

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:05/25/2012 08:55:47Copy HTML like shoes or a necktie, the fit has to be right. comfortable. of course what I call comfortable someone else might call it tight, or loose. But to be more descriptive, I like a snug, athletic fit. in thicker fabrics for the added support. someone might call it tight, it can dig in a little sometimes, but I call it comfortable. side straps I like a little wider since I wear 'em a little snug, the side straps can dig in too if they're too narrow. g-strings, and loose thongs look sloppy, like an ill fitted suit.

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:05/25/2012 10:42:46Copy HTML I too enjoy feeling that I have a thong on, but I hate the thongs and g-sstrings that "cut" across my tailbone.
usually those are the kind with the glittery/shiny strings. and I hate the really thick bilky thongs like joe boxer from Kmart. I hate feeling like I have a towel crammed between my cheeks! |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:05/26/2012 01:21:40Copy HTML If it's a well-fitting thong, I find the strap quite sensual, if I can feel it at all. However, an ill-fitting thong is one of the worst feelings EVER!

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:05/26/2012 04:33:03Copy HTML
Most of my thongs and string I don't feel when on and I notice only the chafing of my jeans against my behind. Only when I pull them on I feel the backstring getting into place. With pants on it is for me hard to tell which is from the pants and which is from the thongs. When I'm riding my bike I feel sometimes the backstring pulling slightly and that is not an unpleasant feeling.

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:05/26/2012 07:28:12Copy HTML I like the thicker fabric of a Joe Boxer. The main thing for me is a snug fit for good support with out getting a creeper. I like the feeling of the thong but usually don't notice it except when squatting down or the like.

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:05/26/2012 07:54:31Copy HTML Like most clothing items I notice it when I put it on in the morning, but at some point I don't notice it anymore UNLESS its really tight or not "seated" properly. I like the support up front and the freedom in the back (it's the better take on a mullet) and I don't mind at all if it gives a lil rub on the back end of things. I might more often notice it when bending down because it moves or tightens then and that's cool by me. I wear thong underwear 99% of the time and if I'm going to notice my underwear its when I'm wearing bikinis, briefs, or boxer briefs...there's so much fabric to be aware of...everywhere. ;)
Way back when I wore thongs with a tiny elastic back I felt like I was getting sawed in half, but thankfully there are SO many more options out there now. |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:11/24/2012 12:33:07Copy HTML Agree with the point made above that an ill-fitting thong is a terrible feeling. I would go so far as to say that it's stuff like that that puts many people off thongs - they wear one that they should never have tried in the first place, or one the wrong size, (rightly) find it uncomfortable, and swear off thongs permanently. More so than any other type of underwear besides a bra, obviously, the fit is all-important.
As regards the OP, I too am kind of in the middle. I like the support above all, but I wouldn't say I didn't like the feeling of the back strap. The pouch, too, I like to lift up and not dangle between or around the legs. Baggy pouches are still better than boxers etc. but a snug fit is best. |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:12/06/2012 02:46:45Copy HTML I definitely feel thongs when I'm wearing them. For me, a skimpy string bikini is much more comfortable. I do like the feeling of wearing thongs to set the stage for erotic encounters with my wife later that night. In this case, I'll secretly wear one during the day. I feel very masculine in one. For me the skimpier the underwear, the better.

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/25/2014 06:59:12Copy HTML No you are not. I often feel my ass and will"adjust" my thong or g even when it doesn't need to be. Their are two reasons I wear thongs and gs one is that I like the size and I'm always in search of something smaller both for under garments and for tanning. The other is and I suspect I am not alone is that I like the way the material feels in the crack of my ass.

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/25/2014 07:03:02Copy HTML You are not alone. I too like the way it feels in my crack too!
You said something interesting though. I am also always looking for smaller thongs. However, that I have found that smaller sometimes means tighter and I don't like the tightness. I chafe to easily. Plus, I don't like stuffing my junk in a small thong. |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/25/2014 07:39:47Copy HTML Thongman8 the problem is easily solved by getting one size larger as an example I normally wear a medium but as the coverage decreases I go to a large and it takes care of the problem. Or I look for adjustable coverage. That is one reason I tried tie side as i posted when I asked about other men wearing that style.

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/26/2014 01:16:41Copy HTML As mentioned above, I like both feeling it and not feeling it. I love the support and lack of excess material, especially when it's hot outside. But, being someone who gets a Brazilian wax regularly, I love the little jolt I get when my smooth cheeks close around the back strap! And when the strap hits me in just the right spot! Well, you know what I mean...

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/26/2014 05:56:28Copy HTML Both, as long as it is comfortable. I prefer my thongs a little snug so I don't have to adjust in the front all the time as I wear mine upwards. There is just something about the feeling of having the strap in between the cheeks as long as i doesn't chafe.

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/26/2014 07:58:47Copy HTML Because I usually wear strings with very thin straps around and under it seems it is comfortable enough to ignore it and not feel anything, yet it is there to hit the right spot/s when I choose to get more conscious about wearing one under.

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/28/2014 10:22:01Copy HTML Both. I enjoy that throughout the day, when I'm thonging, I feel like I'm not wearing any underwear at all. However, I love when I can feel the strap between my cheeks; like when I'm standing up or sitting down or occasionally as I'm walking.

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:05/29/2022 11:33:05Copy HTML Most of what I wear is ice silk, and they are very light. I wear a ring underneath, so that’s a measure of tightness. However I’ve got a few that are tighter and I’m going to admit enjoying being cinched up a little! Especially if it shapes me well. :) |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:05/31/2022 04:22:59Copy HTML I've been wearing thong underwear as my normal, everyday underwear for 25+ years. I like knowing that I'm wearing thong underwear and do like the occasional reminder that I have a thong strap between my cheeks. In general, I usually don't think too much about wearing a thong. |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/06/2024 02:30:57Copy HTML Sorry for resurrecting an old thread. I am one who likes the “feel” of wearing a thong. Just looking for recommendations on currently available men’s thongs (or g-strings) that you can really “feel" (those that like this particular feeling probably know what I mean). The Joe Snyder Rio Thong seems to be pretty good in that department, but any other recommendations are welcome. |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/07/2024 03:34:46Copy HTML Snyders are excellent for feeling you’re wearing a thong. The material they use for a lot of theirs helps I find. It’s quite funny because when I first started wearing thongs I couldn’t wait to get over the initial awkwardness of wearing them. I’ve heard so many people say, “they are sooo uncomfortable” etc but I find this to the opposite although initially they do feel strange.
Curiosity over how they felt to wear was a huge driver for why I wanted to try them in the first place.
A few years after I’d started regularly wearing thongs I bought some Snyders. They felt a lot different to all of the other brands I owned and I loved how the strap felt.
I find Y-back styles are definitely good for this too as the day goes on.
Other brands I’d recommend for feeling you’re wearing a thong are:
L’Homme Invisible - their triangle back designs;
Andrew Christian - every Almost Naked y-back of theirs I have so far;
Certain Ergowears. The older Max styles had a wider strap, which is very noticeable when you’re wearing them;
CIN2’s Y back styles; and
Modus Vivendi. |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/17/2024 05:55:45Copy HTML Recently got two thong underwear from icker sea. Wow, really getting into the idea of getting more and enjoying how deep they fit. Super narrow 1/4 inch back takes a while to get used to but leaves you really bare and basically nude, starting to really love them. love the cotton single ply, but narrower and not too deep front. great colors and a wide contrasting waist band with their logo. These just might be my next step in 24/7thong undies. I don't want to take them off.

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/17/2024 09:08:07Copy HTML I like knowing that I'm wearing a string. The strap running down my crack should be just that tight it reminds of being there.
Quite often this strap is just too long so I have it shortened by say an inch.
The straps that run around should support the thing, no less and no more. |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/15/2025 06:58:18Copy HTML jockey 3 pack cotton thong are surprisingly very good, I needed some underwear and stopped by an outlet store. The value is great and they have seemingly designed the thong to be pretty abbreviated, the back could be narrower but the front pouch is impressive as its not super bulky and wide. highly recommend for those who wear a thong 24/7 like me |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/16/2025 03:25:27Copy HTML I may need to order the Jockey cotton thongs. Neither the outlet stores nor retail stores near me carry them. LOL, when I asked about them at the Jockey outlet store, one of the female clerks told me, "thongs are for women". Sigh... if she only knew.
Actually, I'm kinda liking the Casual Cotton Stretch Thong. At least they don't have their logo written in large letters on the waistband. https://www.jockey.com/catalog/product/jockey-men-casual-stretch-thong?color=9424 |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:04/16/2025 08:54:44Copy HTML The cotton stretch thong is super high quality and a pleasure to live in as you will see. if the back was slightly narrower like say 1/2 inch wide. and they skimped the front down by 1/4 more on the sides the thong would blow my mind in its perfection |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:09/01/2026 02:43:40Copy HTML When wearing some G strings on public beaches lately I've taken to wearing some older ones or ones that are loose fitting around the waist.
This feels to me- "more naked" than some tighter grippier ones. Of course wearing the loose ones requires more attention or I'll attract a lot of attention when something or everything flops or falls out of the pouch while walking or emerging from the water.
Laying there without any clothing tension - dozing slightly- leads to awakening feeling naked in the sun and ocean breezes- wait did it fall off- no! |

Re:Feeling your thong? Date Posted:09/02/2026 11:36:55Copy HTML @sailor250: If you want to go for the "more naked" feel, have you tried a c-string on the beach?
There's really not much to hold it in place, so you need to be careful, but I do find it a bit of a turn-on wearing one in front of other people, especially the guys with their board shorts.
I haven’t swum in one yet as I’m not sure whether it might just float away - I'll have to give it a try on my next holiday. |
