The Home Plume is my favorite thong as it has a thong  back with string waist straps, and a tight fitting front.

But it’s getting too expensive at $40.
Can you guys recommend some similar thongs that have a more reasonable price?

Preferably  something that is not see through  or with a large pouch.

Thanks!

Check Doreanse from dead good undies https://www.deadgoodundies.com/doreanse-1390-aire-string

Thank you.  It looks very similar.
I just wish it had matching colored waist straps.

Teamm8 glide micro thongs look similar to Hom Plumes. I've not tried one on to see though.

I have a TEAMM8 glide micro thong. The fabric is a bit thicker than the Doreanse aire and Hom plumes I’ve owned, which I think is great because it’ll (hopefully) be more durable. The fabric of the Doreanse aires I’ve owned started fraying in places just from wear. I’ve always hand washed mine. I’m not too bothered though given how cheap these are. The Hom Plumes are very comfortable but any I’ve owned lost their elasticity quicker than a lot of other thongs/g-strings I own.

Another style I own, which is similar to a Hom plume in fit and mostly in style/shape except it’s a t-back is Gregg Homme’s yoga string:

Where I am (UK) these are selling for cheaper than Hom plumes. The other thongs I’ve tried recently, which are a similar shape/style to Hom plumes I don’t think would work out cheaper usually. However, I’ll mention them because in fairness they do have regular sales on the website: Body Aware’s luxe satin eminence thong

and Body Aware’s sweet mini thong

@jdstring67: do you wear these for the beach? Suitable for swimming?

Hi @gsj, Sorry for the late reply. I don’t wear them for the beach. With the exception of the TEAMM8 ones I mentioned, the fabrics the others are made of are very light/thin and one of the Body Aware styles is silk. The TEAMM8 ones might be ok for swimming as the fabric is thicker.

Can confirm TEAMM8 swim thongs don't go sheer when swimming. I have the green pair. They do show an outline.
