Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/05/2022 01:05:11Copy HTML The situation where your towel or removed suit is disturbed by employees was recently an issue for me. I'll later talk about the whole experience butt I was able to swim in a hotel pool in the early morning without wearing a suit. Now the employees were known to come around and start cleaning up for the day around sunrise too. They weren't paying attention to me or my unclothed state but the issue was how to keep them from grabbing my towel I needed to wear back to my room and once when I wore a suit and removed it I realized I couldn't just leave it laying on the deck or a lounge or it would get scooped up quickly to be sent to the laundry cart. They could have thought my suit was a chick's panties she dropped yesterday after changing into her suit. Watching what they were doing and yelling at them wasn't going to work- it was a big pool and I wanted to relax and swim. So I concluded I had to make an effort to show my stuff wasn't abandoned.
So what I did was chose a lounge near a light so I could see my stuff. then removed towels from it, removed trash etc to another lounger. Then I brought a back pack- not something someone would forget. Then I would leave my towel sticking out of the opening at the top. Worked well they didn't disturb they cleaned up around it! |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/05/2022 02:58:50Copy HTML Swimming nude at a hotel has a host of consequences for the employees. Some employee might be offended and come up with a sexual harassment lawsuit. The Hilton Hotel in Minneapolis had several lawsuits against it after a couple of managers and other employees were having an orgy in the hotel ballroom (2008 https://www.findlaw.com/legalblogs/legally-weird/minneapolis-hilton-orgy-cases-settle/). |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/05/2022 03:48:26Copy HTML Yeah I had the same issue swimming nude at the Standard in Miami right at daybreak when the staff are cleaning lounge chairs and taking towels to the wash. First time I didn't think that would happen and I got most of the way out of the pool to shout "those are my towels on that chair". After that I put my hat, shorts and shirt on the lounger to ensure my towels and robe would stay put. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/05/2022 03:20:27Copy HTML When running charter yachts in the Caribbean I sometimes took an early morning nude swim. The risk was returning to find my guests were up and about. So I tied my swimsuit to the bottom rung of the boarding ladder. Even if they saw me swimming nude or running on the beach I would emerge from the water wearing a swimsuit.
For you who swim nude in hotel pools, you could do the same by attaching your swimsuit to the ladder. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/05/2022 03:42:04Copy HTML On keeping your suit safe off of you:
I've before at a Miami Beach hotel while in the hot tub just set my suit on the deck. It's been noticed by people walking by before.
I've thought about some sort of water proof box to put down beside the pool and put it inside so it's not recognized.
Tied to the ladder would work if it had strings. If it dropped I'd have to dive for it! |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/28/2022 05:59:55Copy HTML Like many others on this board, I try to thong at hotel pools. On a recent overnight trip to Pa, I stayed in a hotel with a very large nice pool and a large jacuzzi. In the evening, I went to the pool near closing time and except for a lady who left shortly after I got there, had the place to myself. I wore an eBay thong. The attendant came in after the pool hours ended but left me alone so I enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi for quite a bit longer.
The next day, I went to the pool about an hour before check out time for most people. I had requested late check out. The pool was empty and I wore my skinz stuff it thong. About half an hour later, a big guy with a beard and bunch of tattoos came in with two little girls. As they were coming in, I purposely got out of the pool and walked to my chair to clearly show that I was wearing a thong. I sat down and waited until they got settled and the girls went into the pool.
This is where I would like your opinion on things. I got up, grab the towel and wrapped myself and walked over to the dad and said "Hi. I thought I was going to have the pool to myself. I hope you don't mind my swimwear." He responded "Your good." I responded "Great." Then I put my towel back and proceeded to enjoy the pool and the jacuzzi. I left about 25 minutes later because as kids invariably do, they started yelling.
Anyways, I approached the dad because of the kids but should I have? On the one hand, by conversing with him, I acknowledge that he may be uncomfortable with my swimwear especially in front of his kids and by talking to him, I can demonstrate that I'm a reasonable and normal person who just happens to wear thongs. On the other hand, it seems I implicitly acknowledged that thongs may not be acceptable in the present context. Would it have been better to just mind my own business and not engage?
Obviously, that encounter went well and would have been fine regardless of whether I talked to him or not. However, for future encounters, what would be the best in your opinion? Also, although one cannot stereotype, I was somewhat surprised that his response. I thought if anything, the father would be more objecting to a man wearing a thong in front of his young daughters. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/28/2022 10:15:11Copy HTML If it were me, I would probably not say anything and just monitor how he acted. You can kind of tell if someone notices or not and if they are bothered by it. If he seemed bothered then maybe you wrap a towel around yourself and go over and say what you said to him and just let him know… hey.. sorry thought I had the pool to myself. But if you didn’t say anything and he didn’t seem to care then I say just keep doing your thing. If your wearing a thong and on your back I don’t see any big issues. If was a mesh, or see through suit then yeah… that could get weird. I find that if people are minding their own business then you should be able to enjoy yourself to |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/28/2022 11:08:40Copy HTML Don't ask, don't tell !
I never ask if I can wear a thong.
I never tell that I am wearing a thong.
I just act normally.
Tonight, I was swimming at my local swimming pools. I swam with a female friend. There was a dad with his 2 sons in our lane. I never asked if it is OK and I never mentioned I was wearing a thong.
If you consider that a thong is just a swimwear, why do you need to speak about it.
Reverse is true. Others never make a comment about my thong swimwear. Yet, I chat a lot with others swimmers. But never about my thong. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/29/2022 01:54:59Copy HTML I've gone both routes with this. It all really depends on where I'm staying. I wouldn't even consider saying anything at a hotel in Miami. But I might consider saying something in Omaha, Nebraska where it is quite a bit more conservative. However, times are changing and we shouldn't apologize for doing something that goes against the societal norm. If people don't like it they don't have to look. They're entitled to their opinion and they may not like what you wear and may even complain to the staff about it, but as long as you're not breaking any rules/laws then you're just as entitled to wear whatever you want. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/29/2022 10:27:57Copy HTML Well I wasn't apologizing or asking for permission. I was just trying to be accommodating because I was in a conservative area in Pa and he was with two little daughters. If he said, he did object, I would have just told him that I'll be there not too much longer and head out when conditions get unpleasant which invariably happens with kids and they begin to yell and scream. Yeah, maybe it's better if I just not engage except to just say hello when making eye contact which is what I normally do with just adults present. Thanks for your feedback. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/31/2022 10:57:49Copy HTML I share 2 experiences about hotel thonging.
First was in France (ocean beach). I decided to get hotel pool leaving everything in room except beach towel and suit. Pool almost desert, but 2 children soon joined (brother-sister about 6/8 years). I don’t like interaction with children because you can’t know the reaction of parents and also kid’s reaction is … spontaneous and unforeseeable.
I was in water and they dived in.
I realized that they noticed soon: swithing the only eyes mask each other, their speaking low voice “maillot … cul nu”.
I didn’t any reaction, soon mother arrived and took place a couple of deckchairs to mine (and no one between). So when I left water, I took my place and we looked each other.
When kid boy jumped out of pool he went at mother and speaking her, pointed me. I didn’t understand but he received two slaps on his hand pointing and behind head. I pretended to have eyes closed. Later she apologized and told that there isn’t any problem. Was my first thong at hotel pool and I felt strange because it’s a private place and fear that someone could say me something but also staff didn’t react.
Another time was in Milan and I get pool at late afternoon after job. It was not hot day and no one in pool but small pool was inside a “U” of building and visible from reception and internal bar with big glass walls. Cold afternoon, I was alone and a lady of staff was cleaning around pool. When he noticed me we had a chat (I was just in thong suit), then I did my laps. She was surprised for my swimming in cold temperature but I felt good. On the 4th side of pool (other 3 are building), they prepared a buffet and … surprised … a group of girls was having a hen party! I had 2 walks close to them and back to pool and again to deckchairs at sun. they didn’t do visible reactions to me but I felt excited and nervous for their presence.
I also noticed that staff lady was looking at my movements until I left pool and get room.
Always positive experience, without complains and remarks |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/31/2022 12:37:17Copy HTML I stayed at a hotel for a night last year, and I was able to wear a thong at the hotel pool with no problem. But like Sun4me, I tried to be extra cautious when there was a Middle Eastern family at the pool. I remember staying in the pool for like an hour and I got out of the pool when the Middle Eastern family went back into the hotel.
I don't know if I would have been that discreet had there been a North American family at the pool. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/31/2022 01:17:30Copy HTML When different cultures stay together may generate problems but also surprises.
Yes, with Middle Eastern people there could be a conflict between different ways to consider what is opportune to wear, but it's in particular for women: burkini, g-string+topless or an intermediate way? It's OK to not push if you think that can generate conflict.
My 2 cents: if I see a woman in thong at hotel or pool and staff is OK, it means that thong is OK for both genders, no matter if later islamic or puritan christian or ultra-observan jew or orthers consider inappropriate. Anycase, never seek conflict.
Last year I was daring myself and after a nice day at beach I had a walk on bike-pedestrian pathway to my car. I had only a g-string on and had a too short tank in my small sack, nothing else to cover. I met a north-african family with a man and his wife and another young woman (daughter, else?), both in long dresses and veil on head but free visage. After intersection, I walked last 100 meters few steps ahead them. I coudn't understand their speaking but man was silent and women amused, sure commenting and speaking of me. Sure because I received 2 smiles when we arrived at beginning of town and I stopped for wearing tank, man pretended to not see me, women both turned to see my face. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:01/31/2022 06:12:44Copy HTML I have never felt that uptight conservatives or religious fanatics have any right to impose their values on me. Live and let live - I have never sought to make them wear a thong! As long as you are not contravening the law or hotel rules, you do not need to explain or seek permission.
At least that is the theory, but British paranoia about children makes me cautious about wearing a thong if there are likely to be children about. Luckily my local hotel has an adults only policy. I despise myself though for lacking courage on family type beaches - always carry a pair of shorts when hiking in a thong/ g-string for wearing as I cross such a beach. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:02/06/2022 02:17:19Copy HTML I stayed at a Hampton Inn that had a 24/7 pool for adults. Couldn't sleep so finally at midnight I got up and went down to the pool. There was no one there so I wore a navy Desmiit thong. Did some laps in the pool and then sat in the hot tub. No one ever came in to the pool area while I was there. I went down one last time around 10:30am and wore the same suit. This time I went straight to the hot tub. A few minutes later a couple walked in with two kids that looked to be around 8-10 years old. The dad had traditional trunks and the mom had a one piece with a cheeky back They hung out in the pool for the first while. The timer stopped on the hot tub so I got up and turn the jets back on. I was in full view of the family and no one said a word about it. After a bit I went over to the pool and asked if they cared if I did a few laps. They said it wasn't a problem at all so I did a few more laps. Meanwhile, the mom and dad went in the hot tub but the kids played in the pool. After I did a few laps I went back to the hot tub and started talking to the couple. I never mentioned my suit, but the lady asked me where I purchased my suit from so I told her it was Amazon. She told me it looked great on me and asked if I only have one or if I have more. I told her "I have a problem...i have probably 20-30 thongs let alone speedos and other bikini styles too. She was impressed and then asked her husband if he would ever wear one. He replied with "not a chance" so I politely asked if there was a particular reason. He said that he didn't feel like he would be confident enough or look good enough to wear one. I explained to him that I had those exact same feelings when I first started wearing them and completely understood where he was coming from. He then asked her if she would ever wear one and she said "half of my butt is out right now...If he (implying me) can pull it off I think I could work up the courage to pull it off too". I simply said "I think you both could pull it off" and left it at that as I didn't want to seem pushy with the subject.
All in all, it was a great little getaway with a really positive experience. Maybe I've inspired a few more people? |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:03/26/2022 02:23:19Copy HTML Sun4me, Yes I do travel for work and spend a lot of time in hotels and over time I have stayed at the same hotels on different occasions. Most of my stays the staff has changed usually except for the manager so on follow up stays I usually know the vibe of the hotel. I once had a new employee come out to the pool to ask me to change my swimsuit because they were a “family friendly hotel” and my G-string was not “appropriate swimwear”. So I went to the manager and said I would like to check out early and cancel my future stays because I didn’t want to offend anyone with my “in appropriate swimsuits” the manager asked me why this is now coming up because I have stayed there in the past and nothing was an issue. I then mentioned the employee confrontation at the pool, the manager said she knew the employee and would take care of the problem. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:04/24/2022 12:23:55Copy HTML I stayed at the Fairfield Inn in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on Friday 4-23-22. The pool is open 7AM -10PM. I thonged and swam at 7:15 AM in the VERY small (24 feet long?) but nice indoor pool. One young lady quickly peered in the window while I was in the pool. I was in the pool for 35 minutes, the hot tub for about 3 minutes. I was the only one in the pool area or the adjacent work out room across the glass wall. There is a camera in the pool area, but apparently I wasn't noticed or considered a problem. Many people had the complimentary breakfast which was tasty. I would stay there again and may do so about a month from now. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:04/24/2022 08:27:20Copy HTML Hotel thonging can be hit or miss literally because visibility of the wearer is a variable and who and how many see you is very variable.
Not to overcomplicate but factors of fun and acceptance include:
1. casual visibility of the site/pool/deck to those walking by, at desk/restaurant, from rooms , hallways etc
2. proximity to the casual observer- is the pool behind greenery, behind the building, walled in?
3. Time of day- of course a pool open at 3 am anywhere may make me want to skinny dip!
4. Surveillance - cameras , lifeguards, waitresses
5. The general reasonable assumptions of the guests/ visitors...are they there for a bridal wear convention, business meeting, or a cocktail?
6. The geography- we'd expect no prob in Miami, FL , maybe a prob in Miami, OH??
7. At night the lighting conditions. I've seen some pools lit like a prison yard at night, and some very dim. Also the in pool light may be dim/few or very bright- that makes my choice of swimwear different if I need to show I'm wearing something to passersby.
About the Phoenix area pools to crash-- I've got to say the more places I stay there the more I see key card entry so no visitors especially after hours.
The bonus factors we've talked about include :
1. OK to thong when asked of an employee
2. Seeing others wearing thongs or skinny dipping
3. Approving behavior, comments from employees
From experience I can say that few or no one seeing me is a bit of luck, not skill and may not really mean anything the next day when the place is busier. Likewise cameras are usually not monitored one day butt may be the next day. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:04/25/2022 03:45:12Copy HTML Sailor250, from my limited hotel thonging I agree with you totally. Your experience may vary GREATLY at the same hotel pool for a variety of reasons. If no one sees you for the time that you're there, is it luck, does it "matter", does it "count" as being thong friendly? Maybe, maybe not. At the cheaper hotels that I go to, the pool is generally small, so more than four people means it's too crowded to swim laps. If I can't reasonably swim, I'm not going, so I target my time there for when it's NOT crowded.
Last year my friend and I checked out the pool after checking in to a hotel. The pool looked good and clean and no one there. We immediately went to the room, changed, then went for a swim. Me in a midcut, him in shorts. After 30 minutes, people started coming in and it got busy and noisy. We stayed five more minutes then left. We figured we went to the pool at exactly the right time, and LEFT at the right time! No reaction to my midcut swimsuit. If I had been in a thong who knows what the reaction might have been. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:04/26/2022 12:43:00Copy HTML Exactly. I don't really take much stock in reports that "got away with", "was able" etc because their experiences may vary from mine.
Yes the "traffic" at the pools can vary a lot. I've been able to spend an afternoon or two at a pool with few around in peace and thong without bother, then the next day it's wall to wall toddlers and swim diapers! |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:04/27/2022 03:23:55Copy HTML I completely agree situations may vary from stay to stay, day to day, even hour by hour. What I have noticed is that attitude and confidence can make all of the difference along with some common sense. I for one don’t like sharing a hotel pool with families with children, usually because when I go to the pool I go to relax and I don’t relax with a bunch of screaming kids running around. So this being said I don’t go when they are there. I have also noticed that during the week especially since the pandemic most hotel pools where I have stayed are almost always empty and I have had staff at hotels basically tell me “feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable with, but please make an effort to cover up if someone else comes to use the pool” this has happened on occasions but surprisingly when I made an effort to get something more appropriate they usually just blow it off or even apologize for intruding on me. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:05/07/2022 09:13:39Copy HTML Could I ask for your opinion? I’m staying at a nice hotel with pool in Hollyrood, Edinburgh. I was hoping to do some thonging while here for the weekend. But both times I’ve been to the pool there have been several children, it was surprisingly busy, and so I have chickened out.
Yesterday, a teacher was doing 1-1 lessons, so there was at least one child with another waiting. This morning I tried again when they first opened. But several parents brought there children along.
My question is, am I right to have opted for conventional attire, in order to avoid a scene? Or should I just go for it and act nonchalantly? |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:05/07/2022 05:34:10Copy HTML Good news: I paid the visit this afternoon during a break in my site seeing. The only pool users were a youngish couple clearly interested in only each other. So I went for it. During my session, various adult patrons came and went. My use of the sauna meant they can’t have not noticed. Other than the odd curious expression, there was no response at all. Again, it appears to be “if no one else makes a fuss, I won’t either.” My biggest concern is a strong reaction when children are present. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:05/07/2022 07:21:14Copy HTML Yes, the dividing line is when there are children. The British, especially, are paranoid about that. Otherwise, I have nowadays no qualms about wearing a thong, or even a g-string. My local hotel has a decent size pool, allows you to join a leisure club and have unlimited access to the pool - and is adults only. No-one has made any adverse comment, although, while in the shower room, I once heard a pool attendant say to another that somebody had been swimming in a g-string that didn't cover his bottom! |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:05/09/2022 03:45:51Copy HTML All things considered, that was a positive experience. At the McDonald, the pool is in plain view of the spa reception desk through a glass wall. This meant two things:
1) The staff could not have failed to have noticed my attire while walking around the pool (albeit not openly parading myself).
2) I was always able to see who was arriving to use the pool and consider my actions accordingly.
As my stay progressed, I gradually got braver with my thonging, taking steps to ensure that patrons became aware of what I was wearing. No one seemed bothered at all. At one stage I was using the poolside shower, facing the pool so as not to blatantly flaunt my thong. I only became aware of the middle aged woman exit the female changing rooms behind when she had walked right past. There was no gasp or even break in step. I had several conversations with users - one of whom was a friend of a staff member - but the subject was not raised at all.
During my final swim, I saw a man arrive with twin daughters aged about 4/5. I gave some consideration to staying just to see how this would go. I was going to be checking out anyway, so had not much to lose other than a bit of a scene. Decided against it however, which was probably a good thing. By the time I’d left I saw that in addition a mother had arrived with her daughter.
I spoke with the receptionist who I’d not seen previously and appeared about duty manager level. I made a comment about ending my swim sooner than planned due to feeling unwell (I was). But I also realised I could have mentioned curtailing my swim due to the families’ arrival. This would have been to see if she really was aware and that I had taken other patrons’ sensibilities into consideration. Or if she really had not noticed, in which case I could have enlightened her as well as shown my small swimwear that was in my hand, on the reception desk. Then I could have seen her reaction for real. Unfortunately I’ll now never know. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:05/09/2022 04:32:24Copy HTML I find the whole issue of children an interesting one (I know there is another thread where this is discussed more directly but my response here is around my experience of hotel pools and follows comments made above). I understand our sensitivity to families with children, and feel that is appropriate and respectful, but I’ve had varying responses in my limited experience.
My first, and so far only, hotel thonging experience was on the coast of Spain where, having established that the families there didn’t seem at all concerned with the fact I was sunning myself in thongs, I was able to use the pool freely in a small thong, among a mix of both adults and kids. (In response to delabole's comment above, these were almost exclusively British families so we’ve obviously had quite different experiences).
In contrast, a recent stay at a hotel in downtown Vancouver, in British Columbia, resulted in disapproving looks and comments from a North American family (couple with a teenage daughter and slightly younger son), because I was wearing a brief Muscleskins suit for lap swimming and in the hot tub (similar to a 1cm-side, half back, classic going by the options on their current website) - this suit wasn't even a thong (I'd already seen there were a few families using the pool when we arrived so I opted for the swim brief instead of a thong).
As stated further above, I guess experiences can vary quite a lot. I would love to find a pool I can swim in a thong freely at! |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:05/09/2022 06:33:07Copy HTML I think it is normal for parents to feel more anxious when they have children and are away from home. However that does not mean they get to tell others how to dress. I find the "We have children here!" type comment particularly obnoxious.
First because the kids really do not care unless they have been taught to care by bigoted parents, in the same way that racism is taught at home.
Second the point of travel is not just to get t-shirts saying "Been There Done That" but to see and experence how other people live, what strange things they eat, and to treat strangers with respect.
The "Ugly American" pejorative does not mean they look ugly, just act loud, opinionated and ugly. The best thing is to just shrug and go about your day without concern. Don't let them get to you.
Often the children or other people in their party will be embarrassed for their outburst, sometimes apologizing or chastising the speaker.
It is the same as the people who say "I don't want to see that!" - Well then look the other way. We ain't paid walk-on actors in the story of your miserable smallminded life.
If a thong clad women walked by many of the same people would smile and whip out their phone to take video. This shows their comments are often driven by nothing more than their own homophobia and prejudices - not for any real fear that children would suffer harm by seeing someone in a thong. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:05/09/2022 06:38:00Copy HTML re".........I had taken other patrons’ sensibilities into consideration" - what about your sensibilities? Boomshanka - in my view you are overthinking all this. My view - simply wear what to you is normal & get on with it & forget about what others may think - that's their problem, if indeed they are thinking anything at all. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:05/10/2022 03:13:36Copy HTML Awesome video
Hope it encourages many thongers that always hide in their "secluded" beaches to finally go PUBLIC !
You just don't know what you are missing when you wear your thong or minimal swimsuit in a public crowded beach on a saturday or sunday
Of course the video also generally encourages men in the US to wear minimal swimwear
We need more youtubers like him ! |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:05/10/2022 12:38:50Copy HTML Someone needs to figure out how to get a hold of those guys on that YouTube channel and let them know about the Thongboard! I read in his bio that he specifically thanked his gf for encouraging and supporting him. I, for one, am incredibly jealous of this dude living his best life with full support from his significant other. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:05/12/2022 01:13:47Copy HTML What's the YouTuber's name, or what's the specific name of the video? Are you talking about Christian Ocean in Hawaii? He loaned thongs and bikini briefs to guys on the beach or at a pool and asked them to wear them and most did. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:06/07/2022 11:20:13Copy HTML I'm in Denver this week for business, staying at a Marriot Bonvoy, nothing fancy but nice. Today I finsihed work early today and took the opportunity to check out the pool. It was 75 degrees F with partly cloudy sky and a slight breeze. this is a small outdoor pool at the central lounging area. No one was around at first when I started, got lots of sun and was able to flip over to get my buns. A bit later 2 women, a young mother in her late 20"s with 3 kids in tow and grandma followed in with her. So, I'm flipped over with my buns up and half asleep got startled by the noise, I jumped up and turned over out of instinct. They began to play in the pool while I tried to gain my senses. So I got up and went into the pool to cool off. They didn't seem to care about what I was wearing or the lack there of. A little bit later another crowd of folks showed up just outsde the pool and just for fun I'll call them the Doobie heads showed up the get there after work smoke on, since weed is legal in Colorado. Well they saw me in my thong and had zero F's to give. After a while the sun was playing peek-a-boo with the clouds, so I called it a day. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:06/10/2022 12:26:14Copy HTML Stayed at the Palm Suites in Atlantic Beach, NC. The pool is small but had several lounge chairs. I wore a bright orange DS thong and had the pool to myself around noon. A couple of women in their mid 30s-40’s joined me in the pool area with some enjoyable chat about the water temp, music & more. After an hour or so, they left to get some frozen drinks & returned to the pool to drink and talk. We chilled under the big umbrella and talked more about music, massage, naturism and literature and by the time it was 3:30, they shared their room number, then left & I sunned for another half hour, or so. After sunning, I showered and shampooed at the outdoor shower & headed to their room, just a small towel over my suit.
They were excited to see me and welcomed me in. I told them I was interested in following up our discussion regarding massage & offered them both foot massages. I had some amazing lotion (Sol de Janeiro) with me and proceeded to give them wonderful sweet smelling, thorough foot massages.
Afterwards, I offered full body massages & they were very happy to have a big strong guy in a bright orange thong proceed to give them a quality massage. I told them to undress to their comfort level & each, in turn, went topless with just shorts on. After nice massages on them, they said, now it’s our turn to return the favor. I then received a heavenly 4 hand massage with plenty of focus on the back, glutes and legs. I’m sure they could tell how my I enjoyed the experience since the thong was only barely able to contain its contents.
After massages, we talked & laughed together & I asked them what they thought, when they first saw the thong-clad guy by the pool earlier in the day. They said they both spotted me and were trying to show each other the sight. They both said how happy our chance encounter was & that they never imagined that they would end up receiving wonderful foot and full body massages from a nice, new friend!
We exchanged phone numbers & I’m looking forward to seeing my new friends again in the future! |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:06/26/2022 05:55:56Copy HTML Recently I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Pueblo CO
This time of year the usual suspects of visitors at the pool. Multi- generational families with toddlers, parents, grandparents, teenagers on vacation. And the summer travel baseball teams with players, coaches and parents.
Also many different body types from slim, fit ( busty blonde MILF in a black bikini) to chubby (Grandma in over sized top & shorts).
I got done with work early and went to the pool around 3pm. Not to crowded when I got there. I stripped down to a Boodie Swimwear traditional thong but it is really a g string.
https://boodieswimwear.com/index.php?main_page=product_swimwear_info&cPath=4&products_id=4157
I spent several hours getting some sun, flipping over to tan my buns and dipped into the pool to beat the 90 degree F heat. During that time the parade of people continued to the pool and no one seem to care that I was nearly naked just covering my genitals with a triangular postage stamp size of fabric. I also got some legal recreational weed and lit up a few joints and had a beer or 2, very chill and positive experience! |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:06/30/2022 02:46:06Copy HTML Yesterday at the Pueblo Hampton Inn pool was pretty much uneventful for the most part. I got to the pool around 3:30 ish or so. Not a soul in sight. I laid out for about an hour, with dips to cool off. While I was flipped buns up, getting some sun I heard a noise that caused me to flip over and see what was going on. I woman holding a laptop with two girls maybe 8 & 6 years old in tow. They all saw me as they made their entrance into the pool. The mom set up to do work in a chair on the pool deck and the 2 girls played next to her in the water. I need a dip, so I jumped in, the oldest sister shouted to her sister and said "Watch out! Here comes the man with the tiny swimsuit" and giggled out loud. I paid them no mind and went about cooling off. When I got out I walked by the mom with her laptop and we exchanged Hellos. Traffic got busier with two grandmother type ladies. I jumped in to cool off and they followed suit after me. They did not comment on me thong directly but I heard them saying " He has a nice butt to wear that swimsuit.
Later on on the evening, I was sitting outside of the hotel entrance smoking a joint. I was wearing cheetah tights and a white tank top. Mom with the laptop and 2 girls roll up. As they approached the door I heard the older girl say to her mother, "Look at the weird man from the pool"
I don't know why this kid was pointing me out, but her mother and younger sister didn't seem to care or make comments. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:06/30/2022 05:40:37Copy HTML @ big daddy, at least you know where you stand with that young lady! I recently was enjoying a small town Hampton Inn pool alone wearing a thong one afternoon when a young, clean cut couple with two little girls walked up carrying towels, pool floats and other assorted pool gear. My first thought was whether this all-American family of tourists in a small town would be offended by a male loner in a thong that's had a couple of beers. I stayed in the pool as the family went into action. Man stripping to the waist, kids kicking off flip flops as they cannon-balled into the deep end, and the lovely wife removing her towel to reveal a very sexy yet classy looking thong bikini. I exited the pool to give them the full run of it, revealing my thong. No reaction at all other than an exchange of pleasant greetings and small talk as I set next to the pool relaxing. You just never know. |

Re:Hotel Thonging Date Posted:07/01/2022 03:26:28Copy HTML My business traveling came to an abrupt halt when the pandemic hit and is beginning to revive itself. Whenever I have the time I head to the pool in a solid g-string and a pareo, frequently mesh, carrying a small electronics bag for my wallet, room key, etc. This is a great place to put my suit if I find that a nude swim is an option. If there is a bunch of families with screaming kids in the pool, I head back to my room, not because of my g-string but my ears and sanity.
I have found that most hotels will not say anything about their guest's choice of swimwear unless they get a complaint, then it depends on the location what their response is. Generally in South Beach the response is "this is South Beach after all". If they take the complaint seriously, they very will discretely apologize and ask me to cover up. How bad is that?
I have observed that this occurs in less than 10% of my hotel stays. |
