First you don't need to pay any money to Aimoo.com to be able to post on this board !!

You will be encouraged to upgrade to a Super User or Diamond user. You don't need to do that to post. If you do, xxx of that money goes to support the board operating costs. I suggest you use the FREE account, and not the upgraded account.

So just get the basic FREE user to post here.

To join - try using the Regiser or Signup link at the top right of the forum.

You can skip some of the entries but you must enter the items with a red star.

You will need to enter an "Aimoo ID": This will be the name you want to be known by on the forum.

Don't worry about putting in personal information. You get to control how much of your profile is visible. For example I suggest that you un-check the box for Email visibility so that others cannot see your email address and that you uncheck the profile visibility so that your profile is not public. If you are totally paranoid then use a abbreviated last name, like James M.

You do need to use a real e-mail address to start.

Once you have an Aimoo user name and password you can use the Login button. You will find it at the very right hand end of the menu that runs along the top right hand side of the page.

After you have logged in you can go back and edit your profile. Use the SightMap menu option from the menu that appaers on the bottom of the boards home page.

If you get restricted access messages, use the Sign Out option from the menu at the top right, clear your browsers cookies, then Sign back in.
Please cutback on starting new threads. Post replies to to existing threads on the subject.
If you want to cut and paste from your word processor do not do it directly.
First paste it into notepad or other basic ascii editor so that the formatting codes are removed, then cut again. This will give you clean posts.
