just back from IOW & three Jovana g string swimming sessions at Shanklin. Morning sessions - dog walkers et al took no notice. All routine. Water temp OK after a short acclimatization!

Another series of g string sun & swims at Shanklin all without issue. I set up away from others, strip off & get on with the swimming, followed by a bit of beach strolling to dry off. Sea edge strollers & dog walkers have never reacted. I am sure this is down to acting normally like everyone else appears to do, passing the time of day from time to time.

Well done gsj,
I have not been to the beach for a couple of weeks, but during the hot spell, I wore my Hom thong at Brightstone Beach and swimming on a deserted  Beach at Seaview, the only other person  was one serious female swimmer , who was very chatty. Keep it up gsj.

Just back from another swim/sun/gstring visit. This time visited Compton Bay as well. Only packed the g string.Tide was in so only a narrow beach. Picked my spot, stripped off, swam (or rather splashed in the rollers), strolled to dry off etc. Plenty of people nearby including a surf board class. The odd surupitious glance maybe as would happen to any new arrival & that was it. One or two girls in near cheekie bikinis but a definite minority compared with the matronly grandmas. All the chaps in the usual shorts - why oh why??

@gsj yes indeed shorts are the official beach uniform for guys preferably worn with underwear. I guess it’s progress though as in the 1950s men wore shirt tie and suits to the beach. Think we missed a trick by not keeping to the 1970s minimalist style which seems so easy going with toplessness no big deal for girls and skimpy bottoms for most men and women.

More swimming & sunning at Shanklin beach. Easterly wind provided many waves so more splashing in the surf. I usually go 0930-1000 when very few peolple around - not to avoid them, simply my schedule. One day I decided to beachcomb to dry off in the sun. Walked about 1/2 mile in just the g string. Absolutely magnificent! No issue at all, simply acting normally & walking the beach like everybody else. Sun sea & excercise - what's not to like?

Sadly no sun & air temperature too chilly for stripping off & swimming last week. So that's it for another year.
