See the article here http://jacksonville.com/news/metro/2014-05-27/story/petition-seeks-nude-beach-jacksonville-beach Although this is not likely to become a reality anytime soon, it is interesting that the initiative is being facilitated by a young lady (quite an attractive lady at that) who is very vocal about her choice of no bikinis or swimsuits at all. The title of the article reporting the Jax Beach mayor's response is entitled "It's Not Happening On My Watch". The main objection is the brain-dead we do not want to attract that kind of crowd to the family beach. Anyway, I was intrigued that while thongs are not unusual for men or women on Jax Beach, the minimal swimwear angle is being by-passed altogether from stodgy to nothing...maybe open up the thong/minimal potential a little more no matter how it turns out. Maybe we could all encourage those in support of the petition to work towards wearing minimal swimwear as a gradual transition of the norm on the beach towards the most minimal to nothing at all?? |

It is north of the pier and a great place to hang out. You have a parking lot that cost $5 to park with restrooms. Can't beat. I would go more but I have a house in Flagler Beach that I go more. Flagler Beach has ordinances but no one has bothered me there either.

Re：Jacksonville FL - contacts Date Posted：03/18/2017 05:55:06Copy HTML You're fine in a thong anywhere on Jacksonville Beach, depends on the kind of environment you're looking for. 5th street lot is extremely convenient as Poimbeach says, from the 5th street lot south to Beach Blvd or so is the most crowded section though that probably isn't saying much in early April, especially if you're going midweek. I spend a lot of time out there, let me know if there's anything specific you'd like to know.

It is on A1A south of Mickler beach. There are 3 parking lots and I am usually at the 2 one. I have thonged there before as well as a lot of other guys butnyiu have to be careful of the rangers.

Please cutback on starting new threads. Post replies to to existing threads on the subject.
If you want to cut and paste from your word processor do not do it directly.
First paste it into notepad or other basic ascii editor so that the formatting codes are removed, then cut again. This will give you clean posts.
