Most places are open and back to normal. Spent the morning and early afternoon at Ft Zach. Afternoon at the hotel pool. We both wore our micro g-strings form Dubio, Tangaland24.de and WW and had a great time at beach and pool.Different suits each day. The bartender at LA Concha remembered me from when I was there 18 months ago. She liked what we both were wearing each day at the pool. .
Took a snorkle cruise but we both wore more conservative suits.
Nightlife was great, live music at Captain Tony's and Rick's, amongst others. Great food as well. Will head back in late summer.

Relatively quiet at the far end of the beach but about half of the people there were in thongs or g strings. Had a nice conversation with a young couple - she was wearing a light green thong and he had on a red g string. I was wearing a black Skinz g string that day. |

Have started a yearly week there with my girlfriend and usually stay at the La Concha and use my IHG Priority hotel points. Pool is nice and they don't care what you wear. Bartender remembered me from the past years and yes I was wearing a micro G-string. Even sat at the bar and talked to the bar manager and got a nice compliment on my tan. Girlfriend did as well. No tan lines as we have a pool here at home that is C/O ( lots of bamboo) |

Beaches are quiet but in my section on Weds. five women, four in thongs and three topless. The only two other guys wore thongs. Monday, two young blond guys in thongs playing pitch and catch - I asked their age, they said 21 (IDs probably said 21 but more like 19). Good to see younger guys in thongs. |

Based on what I read, it's variable. Some nights it's great, some it isn't. My feeling is that it's up to oneself as to what you want to get out of it. My partner and I both danced shirtless. We were definitely comfortable and had fun. At the time we were there (about 10-11 pm) there weren't many nude folks. However, there were some, of both sexes. One fun thing we saw was when about six 20 something women blew in for about 20 minutes and danced among themselves topfree. I suspect maybe it gets nuder later, but we only stayed for an hour. The only thing we have control over is ourselves. I think that the folks who are comfortable with nudity, like my partner and I, just need to do our thing and if folks don't want to join, that's their loss. |

Later in the afternoon three couples came up there. The women eventually went top free and teh guys stripped down to their boxer briefs. The three women, my wife, I, and the other nude couple were dancing on which kinda ticked off the three boxer-briefs guys, but their women said no dancing unless they got fully naked.
All in all it was a good afternoon. but I'm the type to go nude in any legal situation even if I'm the only one. |

There's usually a bunch of guys that are fully clothed waiting for girls to come up and instantly get naked and crazy. I've always turned around and gone to another bar that had live music instead. |

I encourage you and everyone to attend Fantasy Feat at least once. It is a wonderful happy time where everyone is having fun and the costumes range from fanciful to outrageous. I’m doing this event without a travel partner. So, it will be interesting to see what kinds of reactions I get. I’m hoping for some fun times at the pool parties. I have a snorkeling trip set. I’ll see how people are with me wearing. Thong on that adventure.
I’m not giving myself an out and only bringing thongs with me. |

I did the Zombie Bicycle Ride. Wearing a red thong devil costume. Several other men and women wore thongs as well. The costumes were amazing, fun and fanciful.
For those asking about construction at Smithers Beach, it’s still under full construction. Forget parking there. There is no automobile parking. |

If you ever wanted to feel accepted, encouraged and admired for wearing a thong this is the place and time to do so. I can honestly say I’ve never seen so many men wearing thongs in one place at one time. Today I went to a Rubber Ducky pool party. Only about half the men were wearing board shorts the rest of us were wearing thongs or bikini cut suits, mostly thongs. Nearly all the women were top free and wearing thongs. I met several people that actually liked and appreciated my swim thong. Everyone was super friendly. I was asked if I was going to the pool party tomorrow. When I said yes I was asked what thong I would be wearing. I’ve never had so many people both men and women encourage me to wear a thong. As a result I will be proudly wearing my swim thong to the pool party tomorrow.
This evening I participated in Kinky Carnival. 98% of everyone wore a thong or less. Out on the street thongs were visible on both men and women every few feet. The costumes are getting more elaborate and bold. |

Almost all the women were wearing thongs (no bikini tops). There were several men wearing thongs and bikini briefs. As it was a 4th of July theme most everyone’s swimwear was some variation of the American flag motif. I was hanging out with a few women that quickly removed their tops once they were comfortable with the scene. They liked flag inspired my thong.
Tuesday night was Tutu Tuesday and I wore a bright pink thong under my short bright pink light up tutu. I saw many others doing similar things, both men and women. The tutu Mach was great fun.
Wednesday I went out to Dry Tortuga National Park. It is one park that has been on my bucket list for 20 years. After touring the fort I stripped down to my thing to do some snorkeling. I was the only person wearing a thong. I was a bit surprised. The nice thing about the trip was the fact that the boat was only about half full. The bad thing was the very rough seas. Fortunately motionless sickness is not something I have to contend with.
Back in Key West for the evening I hit the street for Neon 90’s. I broke out my neon green thong and a neon pink mesh shirt for the party.
If you ever come down to Fantasy Fest I would suggest you plan for the daily themes and play with the theme at least a couple days. As I have done this I have gotten wonderful compliments and fun interactions with people. The other thing I discovered is the more bright colors the more people will positively respond to me. |

Yesterday 10.23 at the shores pool, very crowded with the neon theme going. Both men & women seen in thongs and gstrings. Today 10.24 very less crowded and no men seen in thongs/gstrings. However, for the first time I did see one woman exposing her breasts in the pool. This prompted two other women to remove their bikini tops.one of which, was wearing a gstring bottom and looked fabulous! |

I watched that webcam for a bit at work today (Oct. 24th). I saw one woman with her top pulled to the side and had to look again to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing. She had a regular, but slightly narrow bottom. Of course, no one was bothering her! The pool was packed with people at one point. (Maybe that was yesterday, though.) I did see one woman in a gstring suit today, but she still had her top on. |

Nearly all the women there today were wearing thongs and g-strings without tops. It was a pool full of exposed female breasts. About 1/3 of the men were wearing thongs or g-strings. The rest wore the standard American beach uniform - board shorts. I don’t think I have ever in my life had so many exposed breasts pressed on my body. It was a happy, joyous and fun time with everyone.
This evening I went to the Arena Rock show. This performance was excellent. Both on my walk to and from the show there were so many thongs on women and men it was like a normal thing. The vast majority of costumes were very skin exposing.
Tomorrow is my last full day in Key West and at Fantasy Fest. In some ways I will hate to leave. It has been so wonderful to be in a place where wearing a thong is not just accepted but normal. This is my second time attending Fantasy Fest. It will definitely not be my last. |

Thongs can be seen everywhere. I did the Masquerade March today wearing black vest and chaps and a pink thong. I had multiple women ask to have a photo with me and many more simply asking for a photo, more still taking photos and video without asking. I received much praise for my outfit.
Earlier in the day I went to the Playboy Pool Party. Most of the women wore thongs and nothing else. Unlike the other pool parties this week only a handful of men wore thongs. It looking like a typical board shorts day in America. I can say I felt a bit out of place in my thong at this party. The other parties I was one of many men sporting thongs.
Tomorrow I return home. Overall, my impression of the week in Key West is one of positive vibes and acceptance of thongs. This has easily been one of the best weeks I’ve had wearing a thong openly and publicly. That says a lot as I openly wear my thong on public beaches at my home.
For those that have had concerns about wearing a thong, Fantasy Fest is a great way to grow your confidence. I repeatedly heard people telling me and other men how great their thong was, how good they looked and how sexy it was. |

Question for those that have been there. How small of a suit is permitted? Also, has anyone worn any thongs or g-strings in a mesh or sheer material? I know nudity is not permitted. I just wonder if anyone has worn anything revealing while still wearing something. From what I have read on the official website and the pictures shown, the event certainly looks to be an all out party atmosphere. |
