I gave up on Kiniki after buying that ill fitting Cuba bikini.

Honestly there thongs are so wide, I have Rio bikinis that are almost the same width. Until they can get a less bulky fit that is actually minimal and flattering I’m not interested

I agree with ultrabare. The back strap is too wide on most of their thongs making it bunch up and uncomfortable. I used to have a few of theirs but couldn't go back to them. I don't understand why they stick with that kind of cut when other brands are all narrower and more comfortable.

I actually really like the Cuba bikini. A lot. The way the front can be a fairly high rise and the back becomes an almost-thong was pretty interesting. I have them in all colors and a couple sizes. Their thongs suck. And I hate the tan-through fabric, but the styles are good. I got a white one and red one, they came lined which I hate. I clipped out the lining, and they fit great. But now when they get wet they're pretty much transparent. Also interesting, just have to know your audience. The black, navy, teal and blue are all unlined and don't vanish like that at all. I wrote them a message specifically asking what's going on, and will there be more stock. No reply. Might be flickering out of business. Frankly, their prices were quite low, so perhaps they kind of blew the business model. I guess we'll all know soon enough.

I also really wonder what's going on. They always used to be my go-to for ordinary day-to-day thongs and swimwear but they've really lost it. Do post if you get a response.

Kiniki management clearly don't read this board!

Their website now seems to have almost no men's underwear in size medium (my size), but it all seems to be marked down to £3. So I've bought 7 items (3 G-strings and 4 thongs). With postage, but taking off a £10 loyalty bonus from my last purchase (in 2018!) I've just paid £15 all-in for 7 items. Sure, they're not the most exciting, but they're a bargain for normal day-to-day underwear. Obviously they're clearing out stock.... but for what? Are they closing or do they have an exciting relaunch? I fear the former. Who knows!

Update: Received all seven (for £15). Pleased - I wouldn't have got those particular thongs in that pattern had it not been for the price. I agree the thong strap is a bit wide but actually it curls up up quite comfortably between the cheeks. And Kiniki G-strings are pretty comfortable - the elastic is very smooth - I'm wearing one right now and it's barely there.  Not quite as good as the old ones they did with the cotton covering the elastic, but still pretty good.  So a bargain for normal everyday wear.

The way their website is looking right now this might be your last chance! Shame if they do stop trading - he's hoping they're just busy on an exciting new relaunch.

Like many other Forum members, I was disappointed when I purchased a couple of pairs of the Kiniki Cuba half back Tanga a few years ago, at the time they also did purple pattern version that from their web site looked it might be a better fit, but I didn't risk ordering encase it was the same. Well I have just bought a unworn one on Vinted, and it fits great, the back possibly may be a little bigger, I no longer have any other Cuba to compare it with. Can any one remember what this purple pattern version was called ?
