Re 'nothing outside of the United States will be accepted for payment' : maybe connected with Trump's tariff issues?

This post lacks some basic information to understand the problem. The conclusion says "nothing outside USA accepted for payment" but then said "they're not a USA company" which means they're outside the USA and only USA payments are accepted?? I looked at their website and they are a French company. They have a tab at the bottom "US Store" and there's a story about developing a US store to ship directly to US customers from a US site, US stock. So they have been ready to sell to US customers. Then you said your card was being declined. That's not Donald Trump! That's your bank! Is it a US bank? What did they say when you called them? Many US cardholders have to notify the bank before travelling outside the US for them to remove antifraud measures! They may have thought this was fraud when an international charge pops up out of the blue. They are unlikely to not deal with a European card processing company ( which handles the sale on behalf of the French company). Unlikely that the bank has experienced fraudulent charges from the vendor or processor. So if you're in the USA and Petit-Q is processing sales in France they may be bringing trouble on their US customers with card processing problems! Regarding the tariff situation- life has been going on. Temu had to deal with a way of payment and mitigation and life goes on. There are thousands of thongs in the air in cargo containers at this very minute over the Atlantic and Pacific oceans!

The problem is that your credit card has no agreements with non US clearinghouses. Get another card from a major brand, like VISA. If it is good enough for the Olympics, you should be able to buy a thong with it.

If PayPal is an acceptable payment method with petit-q then link your card with them and process with them as the bank will just see the payment for something from PayPal? Otherwise see if there are any services that offer international cards bit like revolut e.t.c. and just put money into that then process it?
