I posted a couple of weeks ago that my wife bought her first thong bikini. She is 65 and I'm 71. She had bought a bikini top, a string bikini with moderate butt coverage, and the thong in leopard print. She wore the thong a couple of weeks ago on our wedding anniversary.

I thought I would surprise her by buying a leopard print thong for me. The Santa Cruz weather forecast for the coming week was warm.  Monday she said we should have a beach day.

Without me saying anything she wore the thong bikini again. I told her that she didn't have to wear it "for me". She said that the first time she wore it she was hesitant but after wearing it for the afternoon she felt totally comfortable, so it's now her go to swimsuit.

When we got to the beach and I took off my shorts she was surprised to see my matching thong. She immediately started taking pictures of the two of us in our matching thongs. I think this is going to be our standard swimwear when we go to the beach.

Observing other females i’m friendly towards on routine basis at a pool spa. Choose to match female instructor bikini prints animal print light green pea size bubble pattern. Hit and miss when opportunity presents itself purchasing the same matching pattern gal i discovered wearing ant the pool spa. Taking closer observation when gal chooses to wear her few bikini bottoms. Fun to notice reactions from matching bikini clad gal. No conversation takes place between the gal about our same taste and print style swimwear. My impression assume the gal is certainly fully aware of my thonging and style choices. She chooses to ignore or never focus on my thong print which closely resembles her bikini bottoms. Thought be good reason to chat about my thong as topic through supposedly coincidence matching print swimwear. Instead gal avoids the topic, sensing that is taboo topic to discuss for whatever reason. Maybe gal believes it’s my way to compliment her bikini choosing to copy matching her print style. Or that finding her very attractive without actually making awkward conversation of infatuation. Which many gals believe men have with attractive married women. Don’t know if this matching swimwear bottoms made friendly relationship more awkward. Or she strictly opposes men wearing thongs. Tired seeing male like me at pool spa showing to much. Only to complain for manager to do something about my thong style making her uncomfortable. Suppose gal found my choice of matching swimwear pattern creepy. Therefore excuse to use thonging as issue to coverup. If i didn’t feel matching swimwear didn’t work. Never would try it. Yet initial recognition from spa instructor who never appears shocked. Her jaw dropping mouth open impression   facial reactions, when entering the spa pool deck tells me more of not caring. This only encourages me  to keep going..

Wearing leopard black and white print thinking it evoke a reaction from female instructor. She only being polite saying hello and goodbye. 

As i was standing in the jacuzzi chatting with someone at the steps of hot tub. The female instructor was beginning to walk towards my direction. Concern on her face but she pulled up her bikini bottoms higher. As feeling awkward that she be observed climbing the jacuzzi steps.,

My leopard thong was partially visible just above water level. She made conscious effort to look above my head, saying goodbye. Avoiding to glance at my animal print she often wears as bikini bottom. 

Do notice her awkward demeanour onto me as she needs to say something other than smiling greeting or goodbye. Some angst i find in her expressions but rather keep it to herself. 

I have a couple of female friends. We often text messages and photos of our swimwear choices for the day with the intention of matching. It always fun when we show up on the beach all wearing matching thing swimwear. It tends to get a lot of notice by other beach goers and positive reactions.

When paddle boarding from my house I often ask the first female to arrive to pick out my thong for the day. I have a wall of thongs. Helps kill the time waiting for others to arrive and lets them select the style and amount of coverage they will be comfortable with. Sometimes they pick a color to match what they are wearing, for example last weekend my friend picked out an orange one to match her bikini. When J is coming I message her before she arrives and she will tell me her swimsuit colors of the day.

The wife and I are at the beach nearly daily and we often try to match our thong/g-string choices. I doubt few others even notice, but it is our way of having some fun while wearing thong swimwear at the beach. My wife has a huge collection of thong swimsuits, which helps me when I am buying a new thong because I can try to find a match to one of hers.
