I have recently shifted to wearing jock straps/string bikinis instead. Anyone had a similar experience as well?

I have come across many thongs that seemed glittery and it was like sandpaper right on my tailbone! And they arent too small which will make them "cut" into you. when trying out a thong I just bought or someone else's thong, I do the squat down and bend over test. If it rubs or cuts into me when I squat down or bend down at the waist...forget it.
Jock straps for me...is like your sock only covering the front half of your foot while your show is on. Drives me nuts! |

A majority of the time was spent in a park along the Charles River in Cambridge MA. I ventured to a beach about four times. I must say it's a lot better in a park. You don't have to deal with biting flies or sand blowing all over you. I don't know what I'm going to do next summer, but for now I will admire my jockstrap tanline.

I got one and wore it a few times, pools but not beach, but as a product promotion they just seemed to fizzle out. They weren't unusually scanty compared to thongs either. That's the marketplace for you. |

I prefer the non-swimsuit jocks made from quick drying material. Even though they show less than most of my swimsuits, jocks get an interesting reaction from a lot of people. I like to wear them under short unlined split side shorts. Then go for a run, remove the shorts at the beach as though its an impromptu swimsuit. Or at a hotel, go from the fitness center to the pool. Remove the shorts and rinse off under the shower before swimming. |

It was white with red trim and had a big red flower printed on it. I wasn't interested until Underwearoffer.com offered it at half the old price. I ordered one thru PayPal. I saw the funds transfer to Underwearoffer.com but no confirmation and no merchandise ever came in the mail. I complained thru PayPal but none of the options to click on ever worked and the seller never responded to my emails. The offer is still up, but I believe there are plenty of other swimsuit jocks to be found at real sellers. I prefer nude to jocks anyway. |

I seen one of those guys at a beach during the recent Pride event. The city does not say a word about guys just wearing jock straps being tossed around or the other people wearing ball gags and other stuff ;)

It is a true, fully bare butt, jockstrap in a half dozen different liquid colors. I was curious enough to order one.

I am very pleased with what I got. I ordinarily wear a size 34 brief or thong and so ordered size M in metallic blue. It doesn't have a tie string, and doesn't need one. Its close fit will keep it in place during vigorous swimming. Above all, it looks like swimwear as opposed to an underwear jockstrap pressed into service as a swimsuit. Coverage is comparable to a skimpy thong but with side straps instead of a butt string. I'll be getting it in more colors.

I've gotten a few double takes but no comments about it. I have noted that the shiny metallic color characteristic of many Majdell suits does not hold up all that long with constant use. Usually the seat wears out first, but this item has no seat. Meanwhile however. Walmart Internet has begun selling jockstraps labeled "Men's Low Rise Swimming Briefs" by their seller YDKZYMD. I bought two of them. As durable swimwear these are better than Majdell's (sold by Amazon) but not quite as skimpy. For comfort, I much prefer double rear strap jockstraps over single strap, and often too tight, thongs. I definitely recommend the Walmart jock as swimwear. Walmart sells this same item via other sellers labeled as "underwear" without mentioning swimming, and sometimes at a lower price. Various other sellers have occasionally offered jockstraps, often with swimsuit tie-up strings, evidently with mixed results. I hope they keep trying, and succeed. Lots of underwear "fashion jockstraps" would be great at the beach if only they didn't sport their brand name so prominently.

Please cutback on starting new threads. Post replies to to existing threads on the subject.
If you want to cut and paste from your word processor do not do it directly.
First paste it into notepad or other basic ascii editor so that the formatting codes are removed, then cut again. This will give you clean posts.
