I am not so into sunbathing, but I love to swim laps in a thong. I wouldn't even mind going to a primarily gay pool (if that's the only kind of place that's thong-friendly) as long as it's not a big cruising / pick-up location.Thanks for any replies!

The only time I received some hostile response was on an isolated Thursday evening when some customers were somewhat unfriendly. During the daytime the place is not crowded and people are generally cool. I have sometimes seen women there wearing a thong.

There were a ton of women wearing thongs. There was one other guy wearing a thong. It was actually a transparent white G string. I was wearing a muscle skins 1 cm side thong. I went two days in a row and saw lots and lots of thongs. It was awesome. I called ahead and asked if thongs and G strings were OK. They said as long as it’s a bathing suit, I walked up into the cafeteria area and was getting lots of looks and walked freely around the sauna and cold plunge area. No one said anything it was very liberating to be able to walk in public in such a tiny bathing suit I definitely recommend going and checking this place out. New York City is very thong friendly with lots of singles and people who also are wearing thongs.
