I'll be in Pensacola for a couple weeks . Opal and Pensacola Beach are an awesome place to wear a thong.

I agree! It’s now my go to beach for thonging. Never had any issues and park rangers just drive by and wave while I’m in a g string drinking a cold beer. Laid back feeling for sure. I have noticed over the last 5 years an increase of male thongers out past the portifinos all the way to Opal.

I went to the area east from Pemsacola beach, past the Portofina buildings down to the last spot you can still park on the side of the road. The first time I spent about an hour in my Skinz g-string. There were a mix of fishermen, couples and families and no one paid any attention except for walkers saying "hi".  I walked down the beach east a bit with no problems.

The second time was yesterday just before leaving the area to head back north. This time I spotted a couple by the water. The guy was wearing a moderate coverage thong and his wife had a true g-string bottom, minimal coverage top and had the body to rock it. I had my Skinz g-string and sat a little way from them then went over to chat and tell them how happy I was to have others on the beach in minimal swimwear. They felt the same. I asked if they had picked this spot from the Thongboard but they had never heard of it. They lived in Daytona Beach and were on their way to Texas and randomly picked this spot.

I complimented her on her suit and she said she got it from Malibu Strings. The guy said it was expensive for such little material but worth it. I agreed lol. Great to see other like minded people on the beach. Now heading back north.

Cool man. Opal.is my home beach. U can pretty much just go nude out there sometimes depending upon conditions. U can tell if someone is gonna be cool or not.

I recently got back from a 3 day trip to the Pensacola area. First day I got to the beach around 1-2pm and the area I went is my go to area past the Portofinos close to the area before the end of parking on the side of the road. I wore a string black thong and set up between 2 girls in cheeky suits who were together and a male/female couple who were in thongs! Not sure if they are members on here but he had a similar thong as me and she was tanning topless face down. I was minding my own business and a middle aged woman asked if it was safe to approach me asking permission? I was kinda confused by this but I was like sure what’s up? She immediately said I just figured you looked like you have a good time because of your tiny Speedo. I was alone this trip but a married man and honestly was just trying to relax. She was from the north west and passing through obviously wanted to just talk to someone. At first she asked if I was gay or straight and that there are a lot of thong/speedo guys around here. I said I’m a straight married man but this area is the best area for me to thong. I just enjoy sunbathing. It kinda turned into a moment of overstaying your welcome and chatting about her problems. She basically got the hint after I said I’m just here to relax.. she then walked over to the two girls and proceeded to chat with them for 3-4 hours!!! Yikes. Overall the rest of the afternoon was a nice day of tanning. Day 2 was there all day and got out very early. Did a long walk in a bikini. Just fisherman around during that walk. I set up wearing a similar thong as the day before. Lots more guys in speedos around (it is a gay section) but probably about 3-4 guys in thongs. I ended up moving down alittle mid day as it felt crowded around me at one point. I set up in between multiple thong ladies tanning. One was in a one piece but while laying out she made it a thong. The others were all spread out and in all views for the most part were thongs on everyone for about a football field size area. Great spot! Day 3 was my shorter day but I made the most of it. Kinda cloudy but the sun popped a few times. Very quiet beach day and mainly fisherman the whole time. But probably the coolest part was setting up next to a husband/wife fishing and they set up the same time I set up.i was wearing a small blue string thong. They immediately caught a fish and were very excited. I gave them a thumbs up and she cheered again at me. 5 min later they caught another one. I had finished my first beer and was heading toward a trash can but passing them I figured it would be ok to stop and say a quick word. They were really cool and had zero reaction to my thong at all. Not even a little hesitant or weirdness. I talked to them for probably 20 min because they were very cool and friendly. That just proves you can be normal and not be weird and people are mostly accepting of a guy in a thong. It was nice to talk to them about the area, fishing etc and not anything about what I’m wearing. I’m sure a major part of that is because they are locals and totally used to it. It was just a nice exchange and they even waved to me goodbye as they left.
