There is one beach aera near the famous Gorge Amphitheater near the town of Vantage, WA. where the culture is almost exclusively thong wear equally among guys and gals !! LOVE IT !!

I see the thread is not too old. I recently booked a trip to Florida headed to the Ritz in Palm Beach. Though I seriously doubt it, does any one know if it is thong/g-string friendly down there? I was in Naples last year and - to my surprise - speedos/thongs/nude was totally acceptable - assuming you were respectful (as always). Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

I don't know about Palm Beach itself, but you can try the north end of John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, it's a beautiful but uncrowded beach where you will almost always find thongers (legal) and possibly some nude (illegal). MacArthur is on the north end of Singer Island (next island north of Palm Beach Island). |

So how do you get away with it without a ranger seeing you? I remember when McArthur beach then Air Force beach was an illegal nude beach then the state took over and put an end to the nude beach.

Best during the weekdays, but Juno is good on weekends too. I heard MacArthur is good too. Haven't tried it yet though because Jup/Juno is good enough for me.

Re：Palm Beach County FL - Contacts Date Posted：11/12/2013 01:02:05Copy HTML good luck on this one.......between the politicos and the developers, there ain't much beach, or beach access for that matter, left for - as the saying goes - the great unwashed..........the public beaches that do exist in PBC are super over-commercialized, over-populated, and yes - overpriced for parking......you'll be elbow to elbow with the sunbather next to you........of course, this wouldn't be so bad if they left their brat kids, boom boxes and refrigorators, and uncivilized relatives home, but that would require some common courtesy, which is extinct in PBC.......the few beaches that are outta the way enough for live and let live sunbathing are either way off the beaten path - meaning a half hour hike from car to sand - or parking is so finite that ya need to arrive before sunup to get a spot...........also, folks, I believe thongs and Gees have been officially declared 'unwelcome' by the PBC politicos......what used to be called air force beach, now macarthur, is on singer island.......it's a long drive and longer walk once ya get there.......the place in hobe sound, same thing.........the spot north of the foot of atlantic, where I actually went a time or two, is a parking nightmare........
otherwise, my advice is plan a field trip up to Hutchinson island.......long drive, but tons of beaches, free parking, and basically nobody surfside, so do whatever the F ya want.........the only exception to this is when the surf is good........during these rare times you won't believe how many surfers come outta the woodwork.......absolutely incredible!!!......as my luck would have it, I hit the beach on one of these days in my postage stamp pink - yes, pink - Gee........amazingly, not one surfer made an off-color remark........for that matter, they didn't even seem to notice me........of course, they probably did notice me, but dismissed me as an hallucination....... believe me, I know how enjoyable it is to be surfside in a hot little number of a suit, and I think it stinks that we got hunt and peck for little corners of the world to kinda just be left alone to enjoy............I hate to be a downer, and if I am wrong, please, correct me......... |

Couldn't find one with a private pool for my days so found a guest house at a private house where the owners live in the main house. Since I like to swim in the pool at all hours and sun my buns I didn't want to freak out anyone. I found this place on HomeAway, not fancy, not expensive in WPB. Good sun, and pretty warm pool. The owners are from Europe and I got good vibes talking to them before I rented, and sure enough they let me do as I please, wear what I wanted or not. The pool guys would come around and ignored me too.If anyone has a need for a place in WPB to get an all over tan then personal message me for the info. However he told me he's pretty booked up . They told me to come back whenever I wanted.

What was remarkable this time was on our 1st day there was a guy in a speedometer brief with his wife about 50 feet away and I must have inspired him to go for it. The next two days he was on the beach wearing a thong. It felt good that I may have inspired someone to just do it! |
