What you will find is limited facilities and services. Bathhouses, restrooms and other buildings are mostly closed and boarded up. The beaches and trails are open. You may find that there are no picnic tables. I’ve been to a few State Parks this early summer and have found very limited services but plenty of people on the beaches and in the parks.

It is a great beach, but from time to time the water quality is a question. I saw there were 6 spots in Michigan that were closed due to water quality issues this past weekend. It does explain why no one was there. Let’s hope it all clears quickly so everyone can enjoy a day in the sun.

I went to Kensington for 5 thonging hours on 9/19 though. 2 hours on a rented paddleboard and 3 on the beach next to the splash park. It was my 3rd time thonging there this year on the paddleboard and beach. |

Please cutback on starting new threads. Post replies to to existing threads on the subject.
If you want to cut and paste from your word processor do not do it directly.
First paste it into notepad or other basic ascii editor so that the formatting codes are removed, then cut again. This will give you clean posts.
