Now I'm sure we have all had a few or in some circumstances, a lot, of negative comments, I think it comes with the territory of being a guy in a thong, we just aren't as well accepted as girls in thongs! But I'm not talking about that, it's well covered on this board already.

The question I wanted to ask was  "What has been your most positive comment from a passer by /friend/ relative? And linking in to another thread, what age were they? "

Mine was earlier this year as I enjoyed some early spring sunshine in a one-sided PAU1,  I was laying out when a dog walker came past and said " that's the sexest suit I've ever seen on a guy" she was mid to late 20's. She said nothing else and carried on past with a smile.

As many of you know, my wife isn't crazy about my thonging. Here in PA, about the only public place to wear them is out on our boat, in the middle of the Ohio River. Its about 1000 ft across where we usually anchor to relax, and wife says nothing at all about me stripping down as we have lots of privacy. Usually as boats pass, I'll move or turn belly up. Last weekend I got caught as I was returning to my seat with a beer. Just as I bent down to sit, three teenage girls passed on a waverunner, and they got the shot of my backside. They all started yelling "WOO HOO" and startled us both. When we turned to look, they yelled again, waved and smiled. My wife said "what was that all about?" and I said that I think they liked my thong. All she said was "oh, I'll bet your right. They must have liked it" So, as the old man that I am, that made my day..... Monte

My favorite comment? I was in Fort Lauderdale wearing almost nothing when a upper 20-something woman next to me said, "You look too f**cking hot to be from Arkansas."  That made my day! :)

I was wearing a Dore suspender with a push out pouch for a massage appointment one time and as I undressed, the massage therapist blurted out "I like your thang!" She caught me off guard so I didn't have a witty come back, but I'm pretty sure she was talking about my suspender and not my push out pouch. She was in her 50's. :-)

Hard to say as I have received many. This one I remember vividly! I was laying out in a yellow Dubio eagle suspender thong. I went to the refreshment stand to get a smoothie and when I returned, two topless girls had set up a few feet away. After I sat down, one of them came over to me and said "You look great! That suit is so South Beach!" She then requested a picture with me and I was able to get them to take a few pictures with my camera as well (on my Flickr page - bmicro2000).

I get comments from college girls saying, I wish my dad would wear one of those, and could be a speedo solar, or a g-string.

It was some years ago, but it was a pretty good one.   I was walking to my car after leaving Gunnison beach (solo) before I was married.  Two girls pulled up and asked if I would get in their van with them.  I was young, adventerous, and probably a little stupid at the time so I said sure.  I should mention that I was wearing 80's shorts (very short...after all, it was about 1987 when this happened) and a very tight muscle shirt.  The girls said to me, arent you the guy who was wearing the orange thong?  They obviously knew I was.   (Ed. note....I was actually wearing a g-string.  It is the only one I have ever owned.  It was made by Male Power and it was a bright orange 80's neon color with black trim and a black G back.),  I said "Yes".   They said they were admiring my body all day long and were wondering if I would mind removing my shorts so they could get a closer look.   I did.    I dont want to proceed to get too detailed, as my intent is not to write a graphic novellete.  Lets just say, this was one of my better days as far as it relates to being a hit with the ladies...LoL.

(Ed. note number 2.....I forgot to say...One of the girls was wearing a print bikini, the other one ....a black thong!!!)

Last summer vacation I was sitting on a beach chair in the bay just deep enough to reach my knees, and I was using the kids boogy board to float my feet. I was sitting there alone as my wife and her mom whent to a little shop down the road. My 2 kids were playing in the water. Now this is a kids play area, and the only people there were other parents with their young kids. The area was netted off to keep critters out away from the kids. As I was sitting there, a woman, mid 30's came over to where I was and set up right next to me with her 3 kids, and looked over and said "I like your set-up" with a smile. I said thanks, and we chatted for quite awhile. Amazingly, I had much more acceptance in this kids area then I did on the normal public beach. I kinda figured the people going to the kids area, were mature enough, and old enough to not really care what others are doing, and not worried about beeing main-stream.

I was walking the beach in a Skinz g-string a couple years ago at Venice Beach when I passed a 30-something couple (man and woman) who were sitting near the water, fully clothed. She called out and asked if she could take my picture, at which point she blurted out, "You look gorgeous!" I smiled and let her take my picture.

I feel lucky that I have the genetics and the drive to have the body I do at 46yo. The only comments I've ever heard have been positive, however I'm sure I have not heard many anti-thong comments. Yesterday I was at my favorite thong beach here in Seattle. A young guy set up a ways away from me in a blue Muscleskins thong which was awesome. Then this guy who has been coming to the same beach for a couple years showed up. He is in incredible shape and always wore hot little swim bikinis. I watched him strip down to a THONG! I came over and said hi and asked if I could join him. We had talked several times before. I mentioned his thong and how great he looked and he said that I had inspired him to wear a thong this year! That was by far the most positive comment I have ever received and we plan to thong together more throughout the summer. I really hope he gets some Muscleskins too. In general there seems to be more and more guys in thongs at this one beach every year and this year is shaping up to be a great thong season.

I'm not sure if anybody has ever complimented me on wearing a thong. As a male thonger I've had my share of laughs and rude stares (and a couple of girls running away screaming lol). I sure would like it if somebody said something nice, but I guess for me it's more of a compliment if they just accept what I'm wearing and don't say anything.

Being from Holland, I also did not receive many positive comments, but now and then stupid remarks, mostly from teens. But a positive reaction that stood out, I had in France. I walked the very wide beaches of the north of France just before the season started. It was very quiet even for a Sunday, I had the beach for myself and no person in sight. So I changed to a very low cut Dore string in turquoise. Suddenly at about 50 meter in front of me a large family entered the beach from a path through the dunes. There was no time and a place to change into something more conservative. All wore dark "Sunday"clothes except for a girl of about 18. She stood out like a flower in the mud. All were talking to each other and had no eye for me except the girl. They were eating so in passing I said:"Bonne appetite". Nobody noticed me but the girl gave me a smile from ear to ear. After 10 paces I looked back and still nobody else was looking at me but the girl was still looking with a big smile.

My best one was when walking back from the beach to my car, over the sandills, in just my black thong.
I caught up to and passed a couple - he in shorts, and she a nice small black bikini. As I passed them by, she said quite loud enough for me to hear "Oh, that's a nice surprise!" I turned my head around to her, and she said "That looks great! Where did you get it from?"
We chatted all the way back to the cars then, and stood talking in the carpark for the next half hour or so.
I felt on top of the world!

I should introduce myself first.  My name is Ally, I'm 20 and new to the board.  I am from Michigan and am what you would call a late bloomer into thonging.  I bought my first thong swimsuit last year, a black one piece thong from Ujena.

I bought it for a trip to Florida last summer.  I didn't have any thong swimwear and was nervous going public with my bum bared.  It's covering compared to most swimsuits but I like it.  My most positive comment on the beach that trip was from a woman.  She stopped and talked with me for a few minutes about my suit.  She said it was "spectacular" and she didn't know a one piece came with a thong back.  She looked to be mid 40s wearing a regular bikini.

Maybe most of the boys didn't notice but I was happy for the warm reception.  I bought a thong bikini for this season.

Thanks :)

Yesterday, I was at West Branch State Park. A guy (older teenager, by my best guess) came up to where I was laying out and asked where I got my thong, and how much it cost. He then said that he really liked it and shook my hand. He might have been put up to it by his buddies, but he sounded sincere. Who knows, I may have helped someone take the first step towards becoming a fellow thonger

I was at a nearby nudist resort for the day a couple of weeks ago.  Since I do most of my tanning there I have no tanlines, so if no one there has seen me in a thong they wouldn't know that I wear thongs and g-strings.  Anyway, it got to about 6pm and I took a shower and headed to my car.  This is the saddest part of a day at the resort, the time to put on clothing...
Anyway, I got to my car and before I started packing up my towels and such, I put on my red 3/8" side Muscleskins poser thong.  I was sorting things out and leaning into the trunk of the car when I heard, "That thong looks nice on you!,"  from the female of a couple at the car next to mine.  I almost banged my head on the trunk lid.  I had talked to them earlier in the day.  They didn't have thong tanlines either, but it turns out that they both wear thong and g-string underwear and occasionally swimwear, if necessary.  We talked for a few minutes as we all were packing to leave.  As I was pulling out of my parking space they were both still nude, but she was holding up what I assumed to be her lacey purple thong and a black thong that I assumed was his as she waved goodbye!

Man, your stories are awesome. I think one positive comment from strange woman (because my wife likes it whatever I wear)  or straight man (no gay offense) would break that something in me, and I would start wearing thong every time to the beach.

Sunson, why would it be so bad to get a positive comment from a gay guy? You know that it would not make YOU gay, right? And how would you know right away if a guy commenting your thong is gay or not? Oh, I forgot - you mentioned once that you can spot gays instantly - apparently your gaydar must be more sensitive and better developed than mine (and I am gay...).
Actually, I took offense.
I know you live in a country of raging homophobia (and any other phobias) and double-standards, country of the people brainwashed by Catholic church, and full of stereotypes and prejudice created by sensational media and lack of proper education when it comes to sex and sexual behavior. Being Polish myself, I am irritated and sick when I see you bring that negative and hypocritical attitude here...

Just got a great positive comment from a mid 20 something  lady walking her dog. She lives down the street about 12-15 houses away from us.Her dog came to greet our dog in our backyard. The fence was not completly shut from cleaning the pool.Any way She came in our backyard to get her dog and saw my self laying pool side in a black semi see thru thong from skinz. She said sorry about the dog coming in backyard and nice suit with a big grin. I said thank you. She said some of the girls and guys she hangs with on  boats where thong an g strings. I told her if she did not have any boating weekends in the future she can come over an thong with my wife and I. She said she will take us up on the invite.Seems to be a lot of thong or g string wearers in our neighboorhood which is great.

Being at the nude beach I was laying out natural. Seen group of women topless 100 feet away looking at my body really saying nothing. As i was ready to leave and started to put on my clothes. I put on my Andrea Chalings silver thong on first. I had my back towards the ladies and as i was adjusting my thong i heard some of them saying, "sexy". Didn't know if they were sarcastic but the way they looked at me nude during the afternoon I thought they may have enjoyed my look.

I usually thong here in Seattle at a park on Lake Washington that is both clothing optional and frequented by gay guys. Over the years, the park had grown in popularity and has attracted a bigger mix of people. The park features a swimming area on a lagoon next to the 520 bridge and is popular with paddlers. Because the park is next to the University, there are often lots of college-aged students out paddling around in canoes and kayaks and many take to the water to have fun together and knock back some beer.

I always wondered what some of these people think about all the guys coming in and out of the water in skimpy suits, dudes walking around nude and the like. I just wear my skimpy thongs like it's nothing special and go in and out of the water throughout the day, regardless of who is paddling by.

Yesterday was beautiful day here and both the park and water were busy. There was a flotilla of canoes about 50 yards off the beach at the entrance to the swimming area. There were 4 or 5 canoes huddled together with 3-4 college kids in each one. They were kind of loud and obviously having a great time.

I went in for a swim and honestly was feeling a little intimidated with this big group of young people so close to the shore - you know sometimes younger folks in groups can have big mouths just to show off in front of their peers. And as a thonger, even though I don't care what others think, I really don't want to hear teasing remarks, especially since my BF was there with me and he isn't super crazy about my thonging.

Anyway, I entered the water and didn't hear anything from the group directed at me. They were having fun and keeping to themselves. I floated in the cool water in my thong for a bit, then swam back to shore and as I walked out of the water, the small back of my black Muscleskins thong faced the group.

Immediately there were wolf whistles and yelps from the canoes. Both the guys and girls erupted into a cacophony of cheers and I heard the one young woman yell 'HOT!', then I turned to them as flexed my biceps in fun and another yelled 'SEXY!'.  All the beach goers around us were looking and smiling and as I got back to my towel by BF  had this big grin on his face. I was like, "wow, they liked what they saw..." he was like "They were making fun of you." I was like "Really?" He said, "No, I'm just kidding...you look awesome."

The sun it out again today and I think we are going to try a different beach than usual - there's another beach known for clothing-optional sunbathing on the lake called Howell Beach. We might check that out today and of course I'll be in my skimpy Muscleskins thong working on my tiny tanline.

Happy thonging.

I was having a positive day when a funny comment came along which resulted in an unusual chain of events.  This happened when I was at Cowan Lake about a week ago.  I was laying out in my thong and was second on the beach.  A young woman with three smaller children 10, 7, and 5 came along and set up about 10 feet away.  I was sunning my buns at the time so there is no way she could have missed the fact I was wearing a thong, but still chose to be close. This happens frequently and I interpret this as a positive sign she wanted to me nearby so she could check me out all day.  She said "Hi" and I said "Hi" back.  She said "Nice day to catch some sun." and I agreed.  She said "You're getting a great tan!" and I thanked her.  About this time the kids who were impatient to get into the water finally pestered her enough that she concentrated on helping them slip of their shirts and other street cloths and making sure they were ready and took them the few feet down to the waters edge to observe them getting in.

After about 5 minutes down by the water, after establishing the areas where they needed to stay, she came back and unrolled her blanket.  Then she slipped off her own shorts which uncovered a bikini bottom with side-string ties.  She sat for a while watching the kids and taking glances my way from time to time.  Finally I decided to take a swim to cool down and got up and walked to the water and got in, cooling off for maybe 10 minutes.  When I headed back, one of the kids noticed my thong apparently for the first time.  She pointed to my backside and got her brother and sister to look too.  She said something like "Look what he is wearing!"

I headed back to my towel and proceeded to dry my hands on a second towel I had so I wouldn't get my book wet.  The young lady, still wearing her bikini bottom and tank top, ask me how the water was, and we discussed the weather and water and a few other things as I rearranged my towel and took a few sips of a drink I kept in my cooler.  This whole time I was standing, and it was obvious the kids were still watching because every time I turned to a position where my back side was facing them, they started whispering to each other.  Finally I laid down again to continue reading my book.   As I was doing this, the oldest kid, a boy, came up on the sand and went to his mother and ask her if she noticed that my swimsuit didn't have a back.   She said she had already noticed this when they arrived.  She further explained that they called my type of swimsuit a thong swimsuit and they were popular in some parts of the world and places like Florida.  She told him he might see other men or women wear similar swimsuits, and that there wasn't anything wrong with them.  The boy looked at my exposed buns a moment and then ask his mother "Why would anyone want to wear a swimsuit like that?"  The mom looked over and me too, and replied that "It's more natural and some people like to swim or get sun tans with less clothing on."  I was very impressed by what the woman told the boy, who seemed to be satisfied with her answer as he headed back towards the water again.  But he stopped half way and came back and ask one more question, which made me laugh outright.  "You make us eat foods that are natural because it is better for us.  Why don't you make us wear swimsuits like his too if natural things are good."

I was laughing and she was obviously taken back by her 10 year old's quick logic.  Finally she said something like "When I bought your swimsuits, they didn't have any like his in your sizes."  This seemed to satisfy him for a moment, but then he thought a little more and said "Why don't you take your shirt off like you do at home.  You told us this was more natural too."  She glanced at me when I broke out laughing again.  I gave her a thumbs up signal with my hand and she proceeded to take her tank top, and then her bikini top off.  With this the boy went back to the water finally satisfied.  After he left, she admitted that she had always wanted to go topless at he lake, but never had the courage and had hoped that laying near me would give it to her.  We talked about thongs, going topless and other issues for the rest of my visit and she didn't bother to cover up even as the beach area got busier.  She moved her towel nearer mine so we could talk more easily, and I think people thought we were together.

She was married to a service man who was overseas and had me take a few pictures of her and the kids with her camera to send him.  All in all, a good day!

That has been my experience too.  Young mothers with kids often setup near me, or come over and talk to me.  While teen kids are often 'Shocked' at a man in a thong, in the same way they would be 'Shocked' if the 7-11 was out of mountain-due,  young mothers with kids are often very friendly.  Just because they have had children does not mean they are not young women.  I think adult conversation, even if it is only about how wonderful the weather is, makes a break from spending most of their day with children.
Yes, young kids often have simple questions and are curious at first, but then they are curious about anything new, like the purple jellyfish or the shells they find. When given a stright answer, and told it is not something they should worry about, they go off to play. I think men, especially young men, should be a lot less worried about young mothers with young kids.  They often turn out to be the best beach allies. When other people see the young mother has no problem, it sets the tone and they don't either.

Occasionally there is the overweight smoking red-neck mother who warns the kids that thongs are shocking and anyone in them should be avoided like a pit-viper. Or more likely it is the red-neck father.  Fine, I am more than happy for ignorant people to keep their distance.

As in ohiothonger's experience above, once kids get past their natural curiosity at anything new, and the parent is unfazed, they take it in stride.  Be less afraid of kids, they are, for the most part, harmless.

I was at the beach last week and it was a heat wave.  It was late in the afternoon so swimming was okay but the sun was wrong to get much of a tan.  I was laying out in my thong with two friends (both male) who were in board shorts.  A girl we know who is like the most attractive and most desirable girl at the school I go to was there and came over to chat.  She said she was very impressed by my thong and wished more of the boys in High School would wear them.  Earlier that summer I saw her in a thong but she only had a bikini on the day she made the compliment.  At first I figured she was teasing me since she is like the number 1 hot girl in school and never talks to nerds like me.  Then we were in school on Friday and she sees me in the hall and talks to me like I am an old friend.  She didn't mention my thong or meeting me at the beach, but she was treating me like one of her "inside" buddies.  Later at lunch she came over and talked to me some more and the other guys I was with are like saying "wow, how come she is talking to you?"   This makes me realize she probably was honest about liking me in my thong.  I hope we have a few nice days to go out to the beach again and maybe I will see her again there and she will wear a thong too.  I wouldn't want to mention this in school with a lot of other kids around, but if I ran into her on the street when she was alone (which is about never) I would ask her about her looking good in a thong too and maybe we could get to the beach together some time.

After driving all over L.A. looking for work, the last stop was in MDR near Venice where we all go.  I drove over to the beach and stripped down to a Skins purple Stuffit and laid out for a few hours.  Beach was mostly empty & quiet.  I left around 1 to meet a friend in Redondo.  I walked back to the truck wearing nothing but the g-string.  As I was unlocking the shell I hear a woman exclaim "Oh, God!"  I turned around expecting the worst.  She was in her 50s and then said, "You just made my day!  I was having a crap morning & you just made it better!"  I replied, "Glad I could help!"  Felt nice to hear that.
I may have to wear my Ts & Gs to and from the truck more often!!!

Sunday morning I ran on the beach. I was greeted by a couple of different women runners who I have meet previously, several of the life guards and many more of the general public.  After running I stretched, swam, got coffee at the coffee shop and then hung out for a while.

Almost everyone give positive feedback, except a loud fat dude on a motorcycle who voiced his displeasure. He was cruising down the road with some other fat motorcyclists. All were clad in leather romper suits.  It was fast approaching 90F with about 65% humidity, I was in a thong and had just taken a shower so was cool, they looked ridiculous in their black leather outfits on such a hot and humid day. 5 seconds of stupid comment from the idiot was outweighed by the lots of smiles and positive comments from the rest of the world.

After getting back from the beach my afternoon was interrupted by a women I previously met at the beach, who came around for some afternoon delight.  I am guessing my thong fan, a cute, fit, vivacious women, was a lot more entertaining than his afternoon burger and fries.  I consider such an afternoon interruption to be the ultimate thong complement.

JM Runs glad you had pleasant day thonging and being accepted rather well. Usually the bikers can leave a normally joyous warm afternoon into bad day. At least with me in that situation or similar ones, it would nag at me to death all day of the bad one comment and ruin a rather pleasant day i would be having. Difficult to dismiss negativity thrown at you from others how do you do it?

At least in my mind it would anger me and want to get even with the biker for ruining a nice day. While rehashing over and over the negative comment i would rationalize just like you wearing full gear leather not fun or comfortable to be attired on hot day.

Heard somewhere that our minds are wired to heighten or bring it to our top of our list negativity, or alarming comments and behavior. Sort of a physical primitive protection mechanism to keep us safe or aware of our surroundings, if that makes any sense?

Good luck, for your positive reactions and peoples loving behavior towards you. Like to share mine but feel it would be erased in my reply for being to lame or uninteresting.

A few days ago I went to a beach at a small lake. Not exactly quiet but OK. I laid down in my tiny black string and after just a few minutes a mother with an infant settled next to me. She didn't have any problems with me apparently. Some time later 2 young women sat down at the other side of me, soon to be followed by two more. It was pretty clear they were lesbians. Therefore I was surprised -and pleasantly so- to see four wide appreciative smiles as they looked at me passing them on my way to the water.

i really don't see what the big deal is here........who cares if strangers like or dislike the tiny, sexi suits we adore.......sure, it would be nice if we could go to any beach and not either feel like the focal point or actually be the focal point.....either way, i just don't see that happening any time soon.......all i want is a nice little 'set-aside, cult beach' that i can get to without having to drive for a week and a half, and not have to worry about a freakin thing....i used to have beaches, like that, when i lived in no-man's-land........now, i live in a mega-gop-polis, with the beach within 10 minutes, but it ain't my kinda beach.......that sucks, but that's how it goes.......let's face it, when it comes to showing skin, americans insist that it better be a chick showing it......basically, it's no boys allowed........c'est la vie......

When I arrived at the beach, while taking off my tank top and locking up my bicycle, two women passed by.  They were exercising on the sidewalk.  The closest and cutest one said, "Let me say you have a NICE body."
To which I replied "Thank you, and you too."
As they departed she turned and said "Nice, Nice, NICE!"
I started the morning with a big smile.

Sometimes the best responses are indirect.

One day towards the end of last autumn I was the only person at a secluded meshed harbour pool. I was reading face down on a sunlounge at the best sunning spot at the end of the jetty. A much younger woman came down to the start of the jetty, but was obviously nervous about my g-stringed presence. She eventually summoned the courage to come to the end and lay out. I said hello and went back to reading.

About 30 minutes later, a guy entered the pool from the shore and swam out to near us. He and I chatted for a while before he swam back in. About 15 minutes later I also had to leave. The woman then said something like, "Do you really have to go, it's such a lovely afternoon". I found her change of attitude quite charming.

On our recent trip to Punta Cana, I received several comments from women at the resort saying what a nice tan I had.
I initially found this odd since I am of Indian origin and I am dark skinned to begin with, however I do get very dark in the tropics.
I was wondering if they were being sarcastic or something but the more I thought about it I guess they were genuinely complementing me.
I suppose the fact that they could not see any discernible tan lines was an indication that they indirectly approved of my swimwear choice.
Any thoughts??

My newest thing is...after tanning all day in a string, I go to the restrooms to change into a Joe Snyder mini cheek, and bike around back to my car in that.  Always getting many reactions.

On Memorial Day, I put the mini cheek on and went back out the the beach to wash the sand off (instead of shower).  And now I was in the middle of Hollywood Beach, not the predominately gay part.  I noticed people noticing me as soon as I hit the sand.  I could even tell some women checking me out from pretty far away.

When I waded in the water there were four young women, about early twenties.  One of them didn't want to go in past her knees (cuz she was cold maybe?).  I walked right in past them, squatted down, and rinsed all the sand off and out of my suit.  Lots of people around.  Everyone was staring.  Walking back to shore the one who didn't want to get wet said to her friends "O.k., I'll go in!" And they all starting laughing at her change of attitude.  It was so flattering to me.

P.s.  its the bright orange Joe Snyder mini cheek.

Not a compliment on me but still a compliment.  I remember at party at a friends house his wife making the comment about one of our friends in the group, the guy who was in the best shape out of the circle of friends, "Chris should wear a speedo, no scratch that, Chris should wear a thong speedo in the hot tub, he could totally pull it off".  I was a little shocked, she was serious, not in the joking haha manner, and she wasn't drunk either.  I wish I would have stepped up and said I have 2 of them to wear on holidays in Mexico.  He just laughed it off though.

The only positive comment I've ever gotten while thonging was a couple of weeks ago on South Beach.  I was lying on my stomach reading a book when an older (probably mid-50s) woman walked by and told me that she wished she had my ass for her trip to Rio.  I thanked her as she walked off.

While in Mexico with my wife and another couple I went for it and wore a thong on the beach for 2 of the 3 days we were on the beach and there were plenty of positive comments! It was the first time I thonged on a beach so I was a little nervous plus we are good friends with the other couple so I didn't know how they'd react. Well the wife absolutely loved it. When she first saw it she said "Rocking the banana hammock today?" She was very interested - how many do you have? What colors are they? Why do you wear them? When I first stripped down to the thong my wife said "Dude - you're wearing a thong on the beach! that's awesome!" then she turned to our friends and said "Hey guys, he's wearing a thong!"

Later the friend's wife asked me to walk to the water with her and go for a swim. I went to put on trunks but she said, "You're already wearing a swim suit! Just take the banana hammock walk and give the ladies something to look at!" After that walk and swim my confidence shot up and I thonged for two days straight, walking to the water, the shower, the bathroom, all over the beach.

That night two gay dudes approached me at the beach bar (when we were all fully clothed) and complimented me saying I was the show of the beach and that several people were taking my picture. They asked where I got the thong and said they were jealous they didn't have one. Of course the next day I went for it again and these guys set up right near us. Took a long walk along the beach with wife and friend's wife, with them insisting I wear only the thong. I did. I could see people, mostly girls, taking my photo. Once older lady asked if she could take a picture of my butt and I heard a Spanish lady say to her husband "Mira! En la tanga!"

It was awesome. Afterwards wife and friend's wife said they were super impressed, that it was a bold move and that I had "no problem pulling it off"....wife's friend even asked how I stayed in shape and they both complimented my buns.

That's a great story - thanks for sharing! I recall many years ago and going to Mexico with my now ex-wife. I wore a skimpy bikini and I remember meeting another couple and the guy telling us he wanted to get one too. He seemed more interested in it than the wife, which I have to admit was a total turnon! He never did sport a bikini on that trip.

Thongzo, that is one fantastic experience! Especially considering it was your first time thonging at the beach. Bravo. I'd love to know what part of Mexico this was at just out of curiosity? We visited beaches in Tulum and I could see this happening there. Cheers

I have had a couple of very positive encounters when wearing a thong along with my wife.  Every time we go to Gunnison we get lots of compliments and people are always asking us to pose for pictures (which we almost always politely decline).  Probably one of the main reasons we get stopped is because A) wife and I always wearing matching bottoms and B) she is topless.  I think our best match is the zebra prints we wear to Gunnison.  Mine is a muscleskins poser with a contrasting red waistband, hers is a malibu strings teardrop (kimmy) bottom with a diamante crystal g-string back.  OMG...it drives the guys crazy.  You would be stunned at how many guys stop us to ask about it because "they want to buy one for their wife/GF/whatever".   I am pretty confident they just want to stare at my topless basically nude wife, but whatever.   I do not thong alone much anymore, but when I did, I found compliments a little harder to come by.   So, i think the formula is....if you want compliments on your thong, bring along a topless, g-string wearing female friend.  Pretty simple!!

This was at Isla Mujeres, at the Privileges resort. Stayed at the resort's spot on the beach for most of the time but did take two long walks with a lady on each side wearing a thong only. That is quite a walk! Sure, people are looking at the in the thong but they also notice he has a pair of good-looking mid-30's babes on each side of him.
