Re:Problem uploading pictures Date Posted:15/04/2021 02:19:15Copy HTML I use a photo hosting website called vgy.me I upload them to that site and then copy the direct link when adding them to my profile here. Works great for my pictures. I am not sure if you can upload them from your computer directly to your profile or not? If I am not mistaking, one of the previous updates the ability to upload directly from your computer went away.

Re:Problem uploading pictures Date Posted:20/04/2021 06:16:13Copy HTML Uploading images on Aimoo takes a few extra steps, and I've tried to list what works for me. It’s not really self explanatory, so I have tried to make a short walk through for those of you who use a Mac. We all understand that the Thongboard is not really an image board, but it’s nice to post a few inspirational images from time to time. You can do this not in the forum, but you can in your profile. There are two parts. The first part is making the file small, and the second is uploading it to Aimoo.
=====
Part 1. Find the image file on your computer. You may want to make a duplicate of it, since this process reduces its size and quality to make the file smaller. Open your image with Preview, the stock Apple image viewing app. From the menu bar, select “Tools,” and then “Adjust Size…” Under “Fit Into,” select “800 x 600 pixels” from the drop down menu. Select OK.
Save your file. Remember where you saved it. ===== Part 2. Once you’re signed into the Thongboard, click on “iAimoo” toward the top of the page, with the wrench icon. Select “Album.”
Select “Add New Category.” Name the category and add a description. Simple is probably better. Once you have done this, click on your new album’s name. If you named it “Beach,” click on “Beach.” Select “Add New Photo.”
Make a title for it. This does not have to be the same as the filename. Select the “FTP” button. Select “Select Image.” Locate the image file on your computer. Click on the file name, and select “Open.” Aimoo should now show a thumbnail preview of your image.
It should say “Wait To Upload” under your thumbnail. Select “Start Upload.”
Wait a moment for the thumbnail to refresh. Select “Save.” ===== I’m sure there are actual computer professionals on here who could provide more details, but this should be a start. |

Re:Problem uploading pictures Date Posted:20/04/2021 12:49:36Copy HTML I concur with the need to resize your images before attempting to upload. There is a very good image resizer for windows by Brice Lambson. Once installed it adds an "Resize Image" to the right click drop down menu. The original image is not changed but the new image is saved under the same name with (small) or (medium) after it.
I highly recommend this too for all windows users. Apparently Microsoft does too for it is now part of the Microsoft Power Toys. This will save you LOTS of grief, not just with uploading to this board, but emailing images and other things where resizing is needed. For windows users follow this link and get it installed. https://www.bricelam.net/ImageResizer/ |

Re:Problem uploading pictures Date Posted:20/04/2021 03:39:49Copy HTML Thanks, Solar for clear instructions on how to upload pictures on a mac. I updated some pictures I took last week in my front yard in different g-strings. I had some neighbors pass by as I took these pictures during the morning. I took some videos also. Is there a way to upload them?

Re:Problem uploading pictures Date Posted:20/05/2021 11:16:16Copy HTML tobias5711 - I believe the maximum file size is 3Mb, so that would rule out videos.
JM_Runs - as you mentioned, the File Resizer is now part of Microsoft Powertoys - available here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/
I haven't tried Brice Lambson's resizer, so I don't know whether MS have tweaked or improved it. |

Re:Problem uploading pictures Date Posted:14/06/2021 05:45:29Copy HTML Help, please!!! Has anyone had an issue with losing the FTP option for uploading pics to your Album? HTTP is the only option now and FTP is gone. I’ve given it a couple of days, but it hasn’t returned and I’m not sure how to correct it.
Thanks in advance. |
